"Exceptional stay with a legendary host! Voyage Retreat is a gem in Pangkor. The rooms are spotless, modern, and perfectly located. I highly recommend booking a room with a sunrise view! The real standout is the boss, Bernard. He defines 'going the extra mile.' When I got sick late at night, he personally went out to get me medicine and supplies to make sure I was okay. He is incredibly resourceful and knows all the best spots on the island. Staying here feels like staying with a friend. I can't recommend this place enough!"

"We stayed as a family at this hotel. The room was super, everything was very clean, and they provided slippers, shampoo, and toothbrushes. Housekeeping was done daily 👍🏻 – a big thank you for that! Right from the hotel lobby, there are two shops, one for groceries and a Duty-Free, both with good prices. The pool is nice and large, and the hotel is very quiet and peaceful! For breakfast, on the first day it was a buffet, and for the other two days, it was served plated. The food was quite decent, spicy of course, but we definitely didn't go hungry! The photos show the view from the balcony. The beach right next to the hotel is very dirty. You need to walk further to Pasir Bogak, which is relatively cleaner."

"The bathroom's floor in the room was always wet due to the leaking sink. The old padlocks on room doors give a rustic wibe but the key stays in the room when the guests are in to operate the aircon; the padlocks stay outside on the door... If a sickbrained person locks you from outside, there is no way to go out... This poses a security risk. Staff was helpful. The highlight of my stay was the pool."

"We stayed with our 3 generation family in this hotel. We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the island. The beach is right across the street. There are some shops across the street but also more shops and restaurants on 10 minutes walking distance. We chose the hotel mainly for its pool and it did not disappoint. We had the pool to ourselves most of the times. Breakfast was surprisingly good. There is variation, Asian and western food, coffee machine and fruits. Compliments to the restaurant staff who went to the kitchen to arrange freshly baked potato wedges without sauce for the kids for their breakfast! In general, the service was great and I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Pangkor island."

"Overall is a good stay. We went on weeekdays. Had a good sleep. There's mamak, dessert store and 7 eleven in the same street downstairs. They upgraded our bed size to king-sized bed, which is really kind of them. We were initially assigned to a room without windows, and I looked back to my booking and there's window mentioned. I requested to change to a room with window, as I personally like rooms with window for ventilations and less humid. They changed the room for us immediately. The aircon was dripping and you can hear water taps running in the next room. But it's ok. Other than that, we had a good sleep."
