"I checked the reviews before we booked I was a little worried, but just book food fab loads of choice. Rooms a little dated but all you do is sleep in it, beds comfortable towels changed daily aircon spot on. No fight for sunbeds always some available we have only been here two days and I can't fault a thing. Please don't listen to the negatives those people must live in a Palace must have been andrew😁😁"

"Room was clean and modern. The room was cleaned every day, everything was fine. We had some sweets and fruits in our room & bottles of water on arrival, it was nice. Also, you can refill these bottles on your floor, really convenient. The beach was big, so there was enough space. What was also really good - enough space by the swimming pool. Even when we came at 10:30 we could find empty sunbeds. Green, nice territory. Animation - each evening we had minidisco for children and different show for adults (children also can stay), also in another part of hotel in one evening there was a musician who played the piano, in another evening a musician played the saxophone. So everyone can find something to their liking. Also there was daytime animation, thanks to Katya, Diana, Liza. We joined to them on aquagym, darts and other activities. All staff was very polite and helpful. Also, what was really good for us - in 2 minutes from hotel there was a bus stop. Buses run often, every 10-15 minutes. They are big and comfortable. I reccomend visiting Sculpture park (+Cactus park), it`s free and really cool, the waterfall show, Aquarium. I think the hotel rooms have good soundproofing because we didn't hear any neighbors. We had inland view room and we were not bothered by any noise from the street. Food..I think 7/10. Sometimes it was really tasty, sometimes meat was a bit tough, but in general it was ok. What wasn't very convenient - the children's slide was open only 10:00-12:00 and from 15:00-17:00. It would be great if it was open for longer, but it's no big deal. Overall, we really enjoyed our holiday."

"We stayed in Windmills in August 2012 for a week and were in Cyprus for a wedding. On arrival the front of the complex presented a pleasing aspect but by the time we met the reception staff we had begun to have reservations. When we got to our apartment we had become very disillusioned by the quality of the premises. The floor tiles were cracked in numerous places throughout the living room, bedroom and bathroom. The fabric on the 2 sofas were ripped and unrepaired in many places. There was a brown lump of something clinging to the bed room curtain. The hem of the curtain in the living area leading out to the small balcony was down and was very dirty. The shower head hung limply downwards and my partner had to rig up a makeshift repair in order for us to have a shower. The tiles in the shower had been replaced in one area with tiles which didn't match the rest, areas of the tiling were bowed outwards and the grout was in serious need of some deep cleaning. The seal of the fridge was damaged and the door handle was a badly done repair job. The bin lids were broken on both kitchen and bathroom bins. On the balcony there were obvious remnants of 3 old birds' nests which had been knocked off but not cleanly removed. The overall standard of the property was very run down and shabby. When we complained to the reception we were told all the apartments were the same standard! We asked to borrow an iron on four days running and were told there was one iron for the complex and it was out to someone who had not returned it, but they didn't know who had it! We had to buy an iron to ensure our outfits for the wedding were pressed. Good luck getting a sunbed by the pool as it is open to non-residents and was always fully subscribed by towels if not by actual people!! On the plus side the cleaner was a lovely and very hard working lady who provided extra cleaning and removed the suspect brown substance from the bedroom curtains immediately it was pointed out to her."

"Do not book this hotel!! 1. staffs are all angry, no one says hi, good morning or anything!! 2. they do not turn on the aircondition in the lobby. 3. bar man looks like he wants to beat someone up! i simply asked if it was ok that we sit and play card on some of the tables outside - his answer without looking in my eyes " why u dont play in your rooms"!!! 4. i asked if there is some music in pool area, because i could see the speakers on the bar - his answer: no, go away - its broken!! 5. the reception woman at night, sits outside with her phone, smokin cigarettes and angry as well!! no service at all. 6. Maria from the cleaning team is the only one who acts like a human. she is very nice. rest of them should all be fired!! Never ever again this hotel - you will regret it!!!"

"Lovely hotel with a lot of plus points but some minus they definitely need to work on. Firstly the plus. Clean and new hotel, rooms are adequate and lifts either end of hotel and in middle so never waiting too long, maids are great, very professional and the electronic clean my room or do not disturb buttons are brilliant, we were half board only made breakfast once as like a lie in lol, breakfast was ok, evening meals were standard, draught lager was awful but i do find that in most bars in Cyprus. Pool area awesome never struggled for a sunbed and these are deluxe sunbeds, so comfy, great location with station bar opposite which we spent most nights in, pernera 15 min walk (house of lithos best live music) or protaras 20 min walk which we didn’t bother with much. Staff here are lovely no issues. Ok minus points. Only 2 The animation team (2 young girls) and entertainment i get the animation team are young and probably first time doing this job but its not for them. No get up and go whatsoever, hotel states activities during day but they do not happen, one girl only ever appears in the day, puts stuff out ie goal net, swimming noodles, ball then disappears, doesn’t interact with anyone so no one knows whats happening, then 20 mins later collects equipment in? Then on the evening, quiz/karaoke, music is quiet and only one mic so hardly anyone bothers! Only saw one singer on one night for 20 mins she was ok but then again no introduction she just started singing lol. This needs addressing as it would be difference to me coming back or not"

"Previous to our recent break at the At Herbal hotel my wife and daughter had a very good experience of a spa day and recommended the place for a stay We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and paid on 11/11/24 for a three-day break from 18/05/25. We had a little problem on arrival as the room reception sent us to was already occupied. That was quickly resolved,into a room unsuitable for a wheelchair. Please be aware that there are no grab rails , no drop downs, and the toilets are extremely low, and our break began. I am severely disabled with serious food allergies. These were all handled with skill and sensitivity by the staff particularly those in the restaurant. We had a pleasant relaxing time and on the evening of my wife’s birthday staff sang happy birthday and presented her with a cake and a bottle of prosecco. The problem arose at checkout when the staff were adamant that I had not paid in advance. I produced my receipt, and this was deducted from the bill, and I made the mistake of thinking all was done. After I had got into our taxi adapted for my disabled buggy my wife came out to say that the hotel would not let us leave without paying again for our stay. I was in considerable pain and aware our driver had another pick-up soon. So to say the least I was not in a good place to deal with what was clearly becoming a serious confrontation. As a result, I did pay again on my credit card to enable us to leave and the driver to get us home in time for his next job. On returning to our apartment where we had secure wi-fi, my wife got up our statements and these showed clearly that we had been debited for our stay at At Herbal, on 11/11/24. I presented all this again to the manager at the Hotel and requested an immediate refund as he now had a photo of the bank statement a copy of the receipt and a copy of the overpayment. In his email he made it clear “As we already told you our accounting department is checking for the amount “ that this would happen at his convenience and that despite the receipt he was not going to refund our money until his account’s department said so. By this time, I was very stressed and distressed as this was meant to be a little treat for my wife and it had become anything but a treat. Also, as one of my disabilities is PTSD the stress really kicked things off again and that night I was very restless and had to get up at 3:30 to deal with all the hassle going on in my head. The money was ,a week later, refunded to my credit card. I have never received an explanation of how the incident happened. I have not received an apology, especially for the suggestion that we tried to leave without paying the bill, which as a retired minister I found deeply offensive. We have not received any compensation for all that we went through."

"We are repeat guests at this hotel and amazed by all the management and the great staff they have trained. How they remember so many people shows their passion for their job and dedication. Each visit keeps getting better and better, you want for nothing, should you do they would sort. Looking forward to seeing the new next year. "This is the 3rd time in Toxotis hotel, this place is a gem! Since last year there has been significant improvements, there is now a pool bar, restaurant has been made bigger with more choice of food, and there is an outdoor eating area! The staff are so friendly and work really hard, especially restaurant staff Sami and Rossi. Liza on reception and the hotel manager Youla. The staff all go above and beyond. My only gripe was there are no mirrors in the room, only in the bathroom, which is hard when you want to dry your hair! I mentioned this to Youla, who said they are on order! She said leave it with me, and at 17,30 there was one left in reception for me. There is a bus stop right outside your hotel, €2 to protaros, and the other way for you can go to Paralimni!l again for €2 You are only a few minutes walk away from the “strip” which has lovely eating places! We tried the Greek restaurant called Kartanas Meze Tavern, the food was to die for, they did deal deals, so for a family of 3, starter, main and a sweet plus drinks it was €55, plus they had made homemade baclava, that they brought out at no extra charge! If you like cocktails you must give Mother and daughter a try, BOGOF on a huge selection’s of cocktails! €12 for 4 cocktails. Although we didn’t eat there the food looked delicious, if you wanted English food!"

"Absolutely amazing only 1 fault I have is the food is warm sometimes hot but only if u catch the cook putting new food on that’s my only fault My suggestion is putting a microwave in breakfast and dinner hall Piriq the entertainment he his an absolute credit to this hotel And finally the à la carte amazing this year"
