Enotel Sunset Bay ★★★★

📍 Av. 1º de Maio, Ponta do Sol

"We stayed here for two nights and felt like royalty. The room and bathroom were super spacious. Great view and very quiet at night. The buffet is plentiful and delicious. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful place to relax and watch the world go by. It's great for swimming and sunbathing. We'd love to come back. Thanks to the wonderful team."

"Family atmosphere. Small room, but with charm. The best hotel during our stay in Madeira. Excellent service, very pleasant staff. Restaurant: limited but excellent menu. Bravo to the cook and the waiting staff! Quiet location and magnificent view. Beautiful terrace."

📍 Quinta Alto São João Caminho do Lombo, 9360-559, Canhas

"There was hair in the room and in the bathtub. Cleanliness was therefore not great. The house is very old and poorly soundproofed. Breakfast could be improved. There's only one type of fresh bread, which is replaced with toast when it's gone. So you always have to be there early."

1905 Zino's Palace ★★★★
"The 1905 Zinos Palace is a small hotel with incredible charm! The staff are fantastic, the breakfast is small but perfectly adequate and delicious! Unfortunately, our room was a bit too small and the water pressure in the shower could be better! The hillside location is wonderful and offers a fantastic view of the sea! A car is definitely necessary, but there is ample parking available for all guests! The food in the restaurant was also very tasty!"
