"We have been coming to Girandella for adults for the last 5 years once every year. It has been great and we love it. In 2026 however major changes to the food concept have been made. There is no included lunch buffet nor evening snacks anymore. Instead a credit system for extra pay is in place which frankly is not attractive to most guests especially since the Rebelle restaurant remains excluded/closed. Why would adult guests want to eat at the family restaurant? It all feels like a top down cost cutting measure and leads to people not coming anymore or spending their money on local businesses. The staff is still awesome and super nice but here also head count was reduced and the team is struggling to keep up during high demand times. That is not fair to the staff and guests."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is so scenic, overlooking the beautiful bay at Rabac. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The breakfast was a standout with the most lovely host for breakfast, Nevio looking after us. His kind smile and best scrambled eggs were a highlight, but better still, he treated us like family! Bringing us a bottle of his special home made rakija..such a treasure. The location is perfect and we enjoyed swimming right in front of our room in the spectacular Adriatic sea every day. We hope to return again one day soon."

"My wife and I stayed one night at Hotel Villa Annette and chose this boutique accommodation as we were seeking a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of crowds. The hotel (which has 12 rooms) is located high on the hill in a quiet location and offers lovely views of the Bay of Rabac. Ample free parking is readily available, with the rooms on the higher floors (which are accessible by stairs) having the best views, with rooms on level 3 offering the best outlook. Our Suite was extremely spacious, nicely furnished, clean, comfortable, and comprised a bedroom with a king bed and TV, a living room with a sofa which converted into an additional double bed and another TV. There were also two bathrooms (one with a bathtub), whilst the balcony was large and offered a nice view of the bay. The room included two air-conditioners, a mini bar refrigerator stocked with a variety of drinks, as well as tea / coffee making facilities. The free Wi-Fi worked well. The swimming pool area was a lovely feature of the complex and besides having pool lounge chair seating (with the option of umbrellas) around the pool, also had an undercover bar / dining area where one could order drinks and also light food such as tapas, schnitzel, chips, sandwiches, and the like for lunch or during the course of the afternoon. The quality of the food was very good. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a large variety of food choices available, as well as the option to have eggs cooked to your liking or have breakfast in the nearby outdoor garden if one wished. Staff were very efficient, friendly and provided first-class service adding to the quality of our stay. It should be noted that the hotel restaurant is not open for evening meals, and you really need to have your own vehicle to be able to access the restaurants in Rabac (5-minute drive), as to walk entails at least a 30-minute walk down and then in excess of 45 minutes to walk back up the very steep hill to the hotel. Staff were very helpful in providing the best parking options in close proximity to the restaurant we had booked. In conclusion, we thoroughly enjoyed our very relaxing and peaceful stay at Hotel Villa Annette and would have no hesitation in staying at this location should we return to Rabac."
