"I would rate our room as 3 if not less. Dark, outdated, the bathroom small with a slippery narrow bathtub ( does not fit seniors).. the extra bed in our room was narrow and small for an adult ( we paid for 3 adults). There was no remote control for the tv and took some time to bring one. Also the first day cleaning of the room did not include the bathroom ( probably forgotten). On the other hand it is a historical hotel with wonderful areas to relax and beautiful views from the hotel ( unfortunately not from our 2 rooms that we ordered). They simply should not be part of this nice hotel or should be remodeled completely. Regarding breakfast, it could be improved even though there is a variety of food. The reception team is helpful and cordial."

"Exceptional hospitality from Joy and Evan. A cute, picturesque little corner of Safed with the guesthouse offering a quiet escape in beautiful surroundings. Joy and Evan really have the art of quality hospitality down pat, ready to chat, amazing breakfast (actually too much e.g. one of our nights was Friday night when no eateries/restaurants are open and Joy provides a pre-prepared breakfast for Saturday. There was so much for breakfast we ate our Friday night dinner from the breakfast and still had ample for the following morning). Rooms are air conditioned, have tea and coffee, fridge, hair dryer. If I could give more stars I would."
