"Modern and clean, pretty nice common area and great location steps from the beach. But no view from the room. Tiny with no place to put luggage, no place to put things in the bathroom. Great air conditioning. Very pricey compared to what you get for your money. Not flexible on check out if you want to stay longer. Would not stay again."

"We had the most perfect stay with Casa Vela. They had a special Luna di Miele suite for us at the very top of the B&B overlooking the sea. The hospitality we received from Alessandro was unbeatable. The food at the wine bar café was excellent. Hands down the best freshly baked chocolate croissant we have ever had. All of the staff were lovely, Natale took excellent care of us for our nightly aperitivo and digestivo."

Laura, the host, a very kind and friendly person, has made us feel really cocktailed from the beginning to the end and even further, treating us not as customers but as guests. Thank you again."

"Came across this little gem on Airb&b and so glad we did. I messaged the owner prior to booking who responded very quickly answering my questions and was more than happy to accommodate my requests. Great location, located next to train station great for travelling about. Welcomed by a very friendly man who explained all we needed and showed us around the hotel. Great room with balcony overlooking the beach which was serviced daily. The staff here are very friendly and attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. We ate in many restaurants in scilia the others where good but this was the by far the best, complemented by a local singer who was brilliant. Our first time here and we will definitely return. Would like to say a Big thank you to all the staff for making our stay so pleasurable. Grazie a tutti , Ci vediamo a September Lots of love Laura and Stephen xx"

"The hotel is a good place to stay in Chianalea! I can also say that the chilli on the cake is a good place to stay in this B&B! New, carefully furnished and tasteful environments using the sea colors. Every morning the room is perfectly cleaned and breakfast offered in a two-step bar ( Casa Vela also this impeccable room). The room where I stayed, on the mansard floor, has a large terrace with table and chairs and from there you can admire a wonderful view. What can you say about the owner? Mr. Mimmo:a person as kind as available ready for any request. I hope so much that I can return to this place and I warmly advise the B&B MadameTita! "
