I stayed at this hotel for a total of 9 days during my Seattle trip. The room was spacious and the bed was large and comfortable. It's conveniently located for sightseeing, though walking uphill to some attractions can be a bit tiring. It was great to have water available in the lobby downstairs.
The hotel is in a prime location with a beautiful environment. It is close to Pike Place, the ferry terminal, and the coastal sightseeing road. The rooms are well-equipped, with good views, and the service is warm and thoughtful. In particular, the handsome waiter can speak a few words in Chinese. He enthusiastically introduced the hotel and the surroundings to us. When he saw us buying a bouquet of flowers, he immediately gave us a vase for us to put in. This hotel is worth recommending.
The biggest problem is that the wooden base of the bed is very sharp, and there is a passage less than one meter away next to it, so it is easy to get hit on the legs. Our family of three was hit more than once. If someone is using the office chair next to it, you will probably get hit if you don't walk sideways. (As shown in the picture). The front desk was reluctant to serve us, and their expression was very reluctant. The water for the shower was not hot enough.
The hotel is right next to the I-5 highway, so rooms facing the highway can be quite noisy. The rooms are pretty standard, comparable to a 3-star hotel in China, so don't expect too much. Hotels of the same brand usually have a higher rating in China, which is a common phenomenon. Parking was tight; the underground garage was completely full when we returned at night. We had to get permission from the front desk to park in a handicapped spot. It's about a 10-minute walk to Pike Place Market, which is quite convenient. The city is very hilly, like San Francisco, so walking around can be tiring.

Location was really nice but Downtown Seattle was not really much of fun place to hang around… (bummer) Nonetheless, room condition was good (of course it is old hotel so all the facilities were not in new-new condition) and they did have bathtub in the bathroom.
I visited with my family. The lobby desk staff was so friendly and I felt good. I also had breakfast at the restaurant below because I used my destination fee points. They were friendly and the food was good. The location was relatively safer than the market area, so I liked it.
Sheraton Grand Seattle has a great downtown location, spacious room, and various amenities. The hotel is located right next to the convention center and few blocks to the downtown shopping / dining. The room is spacious for four of us with enough space to open our luggage and we did not feel cramped. On a higher floor, we had a nice city view. The hotel is updated and has a large lobby, Starbucks, a wine bar, restaurants, and fitness center/pool. We arrived in the early morning and was lucky to get an early check-in. The staff we encountered was nice and helpful and we had a good experience overall.
The hotel charges a destination fee that offers $20 dining credit to use in bar/Starbucks/selected restaurants and $10 Uber credit. Maybe because most people spend their $20 credits on Starbucks, the line was very long in the morning (~20 minutes). I would suggest going earlier or later to avoid the long line.
Our stay at this hotel was simply outstanding! From check-in to check-out, the service was impeccable. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, and the staff's attention to detail made our experience truly exceptional. Highly recommended for a luxurious and comfortable stay!

Great
JJyanchienI had a truly pleasant stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff made me feel welcome with their warm smiles. I would also like to highlight the exceptional service provided by the door staff and concierge. Their genuine hospitality made a big difference in my experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service and a memorable stay.
AAnonymous UserLocated in downtown, you can walk to sightseeing. Arrive comfortably at the airport by $50 taxi.
The staff was friendly and the room was quite spacious. However, I couldn't sleep at night due to jet lag, but it was hard to hear the noise like water.
GGuest UserParking charges at hotel premises is very costly at USD61 per night including all relevant charges/taxes. There is a open space public carpark just next to the hotel costs only USD30 including charges/taxes. Nevertheless, hotel location is good and easily accessible by walking to many shops and places to eat. Importantly, hotel surrounding is safe.
GGuest UserVery convenient location, takes 10 minutes walk to most of the attentions like Pike Place Market. Took 5 mins to the metro station then take the metro to Space Needle. Has plenty of restaurants, shops, coffee shops around the area. All the staff are very friendly too. There two things that I wasn’t quite satisfied: parking charges $60/night even though for hotel guest; hair dryer wasn’t that clean.
GGuest UserA rustic hotel with a unique ambience. It's conveniently located near Pioneer Square in Downtown Seattle within walking or short car or bus ride of many sights and restaurants. The breakfast buffet is good and the lounge sometimes has excellent live music.
TtinaIt's a relatively new hotel. Everything is good but expensive. You have to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. If you want a hotel, it costs 20 US dollars a set. Parking fee is 60 US dollars a day. Finally, you need to pay city fees and taxes. The room is very clean and the view is great. Well, we stayed in a sea view room. We could watch the sunrise and sunset while lying on the bed, and we could reach many scenic spots on foot.
GGuest UserThe room is quite good and new, and the location is good to walk to eat lobster rolls. The only bad point is that parking is very troublesome. The hotel does not have a parking lot. It can be valet parking, but because it is a traffic light on the street, it is easy to miss, or there are too many cars and there is no place to park, it will be very troublesome.
AAnonymous UserIt was super pretty! I loved the aesthetics and our room. The only thing that could have been better was that the mini fridge was for display only. It has a sign on top that says that the fridge does not work. I was very disappointed that a 4+ star hotel doesn’t offer working fridges for us to store food.
Nn0tnitThe Charter Hotel Seattle is a highly-regarded hotel thanks to its prime location near major attractions like Pike Place Market and the waterfront. It's clean with modern aesthetic room and lounge
