I had originally booked a standard room, but upon arrival, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a Thai-style villa free of charge, which was such a wonderful surprise! The villa featured high, wooden ceilings that were incredibly stylish, and the living room was spacious and comfortable. The Thai-style soft furnishings were tastefully arranged, with blue and white throw pillows complementing the solid wood furniture perfectly. Being in the room felt like a Southeast Asian getaway, the atmosphere was just incredible. Not only was the hardware superb, but the service was also impeccable. From check-in to everyday needs, the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Their response time was quick, and they even proactively asked about our needs and offered suggestions for activities. The care in every detail made us feel especially welcome. The bedding in the room was soft and skin-friendly, and the bathroom facilities and amenities were all high-quality; you could really feel the hotel's dedication in every detail. The surrounding environment was serene, surrounded by lush greenery, offering a truly immersive holiday experience. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

"Overall, I'm satisfied with the facilities. It's clear the owners had a broad vision when planning and building this place – it has everything you'd expect, plus some pleasant surprises, like a 50m standard swimming pool which is great for a swim. However, being a coastal building facing the wind, some of the exterior and interior decor show inevitable signs of aging. Perhaps a budget could be allocated in a few years for a comprehensive renovation. While the hardware is showing its age, the 'software' – the staff and operations team – are excellent. You can truly see their dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction. Our butler, Mile, communicated our needs in advance, and their service and guidance during our stay were impeccable. The hotel breakfast is also a major plus; you can tell the culinary team puts effort into providing good meals, with both staple and specialty dishes being excellent. After breakfast, I regretted not having tried the 498-yuan lawn buffet dinner last night. Members probably get a discount too (even my 'worthless' gold card should get 20% off, right?). Although the physical facilities are indeed showing their age, the excellent service more than makes up for it. I'd definitely come back again. It would be even more cost-effective if I could get it for under 1,000 yuan during the off-season."

We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The team also thoughtfully arranged a birthday surprise for us, which was a lovely touch. Since we had an early trip schedule, they even helped arrange an earlier breakfast for us, a gesture we truly appreciated. N helped to book a driver to take us out to 五指山. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the sea and a stunning sunrise in the morning. While the location is a little farther from the main areas, the exceptional service and relaxing atmosphere more than make up for it. Overall, it was a very memorable and pleasant stay. "Location: Lovely location right by the ocean but a bit far from any fun spots. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Wanning 日月 beach where there's a lot more fun activities. Services: Great service. The front desk manager TT was lovely and could speak great English thus making communication go smoothly. Amenities: Good but could be better. I think some of the rooms were not used for a long time. The first room I got smelled a bit musty. Also, don't expect new facilities this place looks like it's been around for a long time and it shows. Still, it's charming in all it's rustic glory. I would say the only downside to my stay is that there was no shuttle to the train station. Which is kind of a letdown given that this is a high-end resort. ***If you're a person of colour, I recommend maybe try the two hotels not far from this place. Le Meridien and The Westin I think. I didn't spot any other foreigner during my two days at this hotel until I went to 日月 for a walk and ran into a few of them。It turns out most foreigners stay at the Westin or Le Meridien thus maybe it won't feel too isolating opting for these two hotels rather than this one. All in all, it's a nice hotel to stay if you're on a budget.👍🥂"

The manager was very polite and cheerful; he helped us with all our questions. Thanks, bro. 🙂 You are handsome 🍸The hotel provides a free electric bike for the duration of your stay. There are plenty of cafes and a 24-hour store nearby. The embankment is a 10-minute walk away, or a 5-minute bike ride."

"I highly recommend Mr. Xia's Courtyard in Wanning. It's a hidden gem of a B&B nestled in a coconut grove! The blue-haired lady was incredibly gentle and attentive, picking us up in a luxury car to check us in. The environment is truly a soothing haven. The B&B is surrounded by lush coconut and banana trees. As soon as you open the door, you're greeted by a blanket of greenery, and even the air is filled with a subtle natural scent. The courtyard is beautifully maintained, with flowers and a tea table. When the sun shines through, every photo you take is a filter-free Instagram post. At night, the lights come on, creating a gentle, tranquil atmosphere, a true sanctuary far removed from the hustle and bustle. The room is exceptionally comfortable, with excellent light and ventilation. The bedding is as soft as a cloud, and every detail is filled with warmth. The service is truly heartwarming. Whether it's the bright waiting light at the entrance upon arriving in the wee hours or the attentive, responsive front desk staff, it instantly soothes any tiredness. The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming, proactively recommending off-the-beaten-path attractions and authentic local cuisine, offering travel guides and even hands-on instruction on how to make local hot pot. They even take care of every detail, even pets, making the entire experience feel like family. The amenities are a real plus. The spacious and refreshing public swimming pool in the courtyard offers a refreshing afternoon dip or evening relaxation by the poolside, maximizing the sense of a vacation. Even more delightful is the complimentary breakfast, each homemade and heartwarming, prepared by the owner. Combined with the idyllic countryside views, it's the perfect way to start the day off right."

"I was really satisfied with the hotel's environment and service. My only complaint is the late check-in time of 3 PM. It would have been perfect if we could have checked in a little earlier. Regarding the travel photography shop that collaborates with the hotel, I honestly don't recommend it, despite the 'Southern French romance and island passion of Dingge Shimei Bay' package (including 5 negatives and a 15-second video suitable for all ages). You get 5 free photos, but each additional photo costs 100 RMB. While the photoshoot itself was satisfactory, the photo selection process afterward was truly unpleasant. The customer service representative on the phone said that the photoshoot and selection process might not even be enough in two hours. However, I booked my photo selection for 6 PM, and the whole process took only 10 minutes. At first, the photo selector's attitude was decent. She showed me three package deals, which honestly were very expensive. For that price, I could have gone to a professional photography studio for personal portraits or hired an outside travel photographer. Later, as she saw me keeping fewer and fewer photos, her attitude started to change. She urged me to buy a package and not delete photos, asking why I was keeping so few. Because of her bad attitude, I didn't want to keep any photos. Then she started rushing me, saying she had other clients after me. I looked at the time; it was only 6:10 PM. I told her I hadn't taken up much of her time. This ruined my mood for photo selection. Later, there were 8 more photos I had to pay 300 RMB for. Fearing I wouldn't agree, she directly said, 'Then just pay 200.' She even tried to take my phone to get me to leave a positive review or something? I refused! Her attitude changed so quickly throughout the process. Since it was a complimentary travel photoshoot from the hotel, guests should have the right to keep as many photos as they want, rather than having to deal with their attitude! The next day, the hotel butler asked about my stay. I mentioned that the soundproofing was a bit poor and that the travel photo selection process was unpleasant. The butler and hotel manager helped resolve the issues, and I even received some bread as a gift during check-out, which I really appreciated! Thank you, little butler!"
