"The room offered a direct sea view and was situated in a fairly quiet location. It's conveniently close to both Shimei Bay and Shenzhou Peninsula. They even upgraded my room upon check-in, which was a nice bonus. I'd definitely consider staying here again, especially if I'm with a friend who can ride an e-scooter, as it would be perfect for exploring the surrounding area."

"This newly opened hotel is very well-designed, and the room facilities are brand new. The grounds are also very clean. A special thanks to Lydia, the front desk staff, for upgrading our room. We stayed for five or six days, and Lydia was always patient and helpful in coordinating our extended stay, providing excellent service. Our whole family, including seniors and children, had a wonderful time. The heated pool was also very clean. The kids really enjoyed the complimentary surfing experience. Overall, our experience was great, and we would definitely choose this hotel again when we return to Wanning."

"I fell in love with this hotel after just one stay, and I have to give a huge shout-out to my dedicated butler, Ella! As an established Marriott resort, the quality is truly exceptional. The location is absolutely fantastic, boasting a 700-meter golden coastline on Le Tao Bay. Step right out onto soft, sandy beaches with clear, blue waters. The popular lighthouse is just a 10-minute walk away, perfect for stunning photos. The rooms are spacious with simple yet elegant decor, and the 'Sweet Dreams' bed is incredibly comfortable. The balcony offers expansive views, making afternoon tea with the sea breeze an absolute delight. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a huge outdoor pool, kids' club, and gym. Breakfast is plentiful and authentic – you must try the Hainanese noodles and coconut jelly! But what truly impressed me was the service from Butler Ella, who was available from pre-booking to post-stay – a true service benchmark! She provided a detailed check-in explanation, clearly outlining nearby attractions and dining recommendations. During my stay, any request I had was promptly and efficiently handled by Ella. Her responsiveness, friendly attitude, and professionalism were outstanding, making me feel completely safe and at home in an unfamiliar city! My entire experience exceeded expectations. The hardware is top-notch, and the service is incredibly warm, largely thanks to Butler Ella's dedicated efforts and attention to detail. I've already recommended it to all my friends heading to Wanning!"

"After reading many reviews, I chose this hotel. Before coming, I was worried about cleanliness and heard that the roads nearby were bad. However, upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised! The room was big and bright, especially the balcony, which was huge and offered a first-class sea view. Sitting on the balcony was a real treat. The surroundings were also very quiet and beautiful. The room even had its own washing machine, kitchen, and refrigerator, though there were no bowls or pots. It was completely worth the money. We arrived early, and the front desk staff immediately arranged a room for us. I don't know why some people said the roads were bad; the roads were perfectly fine to drive on. Perhaps they were referring to the parking lot road. The only downside is that there aren't many attractions nearby. However, if you're coming for the winter with a few families, it's quite good. Although there's no public transportation, it's easy to hail a ride right outside. The island's sightseeing buggy can also pick up and drop off guests to the bridgehead."

"Escaping the winter chill in Hainan, I decided to try Wanning Shimei Bay instead of Sanya, which I hadn't visited before. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at Le Méridien. It boasts a private beach, a heated massage pool, and a luxurious breakfast buffet. The enormous 2.2-meter bed with a very comfortable mattress truly lives up to its five-star rating. However, there were three minor downsides: first, there were too few EV charging stations, and they were poorly managed, often occupied by non-charging vehicles. Second, the in-room entertainment was limited to TV; there was no option to connect via USB or HDMI to play personal movies or shows. Third, the hotel's organized activities felt a bit lackluster, and the staff seemed somewhat perfunctory and not genuinely engaged, which detracted from the experience. I hope these areas can be improved. Despite these points, I would still consider staying here again on my next visit."

"I went to Hainan with my friends and booked a hotel. My friend stayed in the Haiya Big Bed. You can see the sea and lighthouse from the balcony. It was so beautiful that I couldn’t help myself and took a photo on the balcony. It was so beautiful that it surpassed the photo. Sure enough, you get what you pay for😭The garden view cannot see the sea. There are cruise ships out to sea right in front of the hotel. You must go out to sea, it’s super cool. There are really many swimming pools in the hotel. There is an infinity swimming pool, which is very photogenic. You can take photos of the lighthouse. It is beautiful to take pictures of. You must go to take photos and check in during the day. The lighthouse is dark at night and cannot be seen. We had breakfast at the hotel the next morning. There were really many types of breakfast. There are also Western and Chinese food. Salad cakes are available. I like the freshly cooked noodles very much, it suits my taste very much. Later, we went to the lighthouse to check in. After all, it was the filming location of her missing photo. Taking photos is also very impressive. The hotel is not far from the lighthouse, and it takes more than ten minutes to get there by taxi. It's very comfortable to rent a car and enjoy the scenery slowly. On the way, we stopped by the Shenzhou Peninsula. I love hh photos so much. The wind is really strong over there, so be sure to fix your hair to take photos📷 I also saw my hotel opposite the lighthouse, it was so beautiful. Next time you come, you must stay in a room with a view of the sea😭 The view is really beautiful! The hotel service is really good. My room is not far from the lobby. The waiter also drove me to help me with my luggage. There are also staff changing hotel supplies every day. It’s really thoughtful💗 I even brought some specialties when I went back, they were really delicious😋 I’ll come back next time💃"

"I stayed in the apartment for three consecutive days, enjoying the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Coming to Shenzhou Peninsula was purely for relaxation and a holiday. There are many restaurants downstairs, and a larger store nearby that can meet daily needs. It's a nine-kilometer drive to Shimei Bay observation deck, where you can get great photos of Shimei Bay."

"I was torn between the Le Meridien splash room and the Westin Premier Ocean View for a while, and I'm so glad I chose the Westin. I even went to see Le Meridien in person later and was relieved I made the right choice. Our Westin butler, Mile, proactively added me on WeChat to understand our needs. She specifically reserved a room on the 6th floor with a better view for us. Upon check-in, the kids received a small gift, and our luggage was delivered directly to our room. Throughout our stay, she thoughtfully sent us information about relevant activities, and even brought a small cake for the kids on the second day. It was a wonderful travel experience."

"This was a truly amazing experience, perfect for young people! It's so convenient for surfing! It's right next to a bar street! After a night out, you can walk right back to sleep. Who knows? It's also very close to the waves! The hotel can help recommend instructors, who are super reliable! Service: The front desk ladies were super nice! They provided sweet soup and fruit every day, which was a delight. The room fridge was also stocked with snacks and drinks. Facilities: There were free washing machines and dryers, and a footbath area right at the entrance. Overall, it was super convenient. Environment: Very nice. There's a bar right at the entrance, connected to the pool, and the ocean is across the street. It was so comfortable to just lie down by the bar at sunset. Cleanliness: Very clean and well-maintained. The sand in the room was completely gone. Transportation was also quite convenient. The pedestrian street next to it was full of delicious food and fun things to do, and you can rent an electric scooter to go to the village for some good food. Overall, I loved it! I'll be back next time!"

"Our stay was great! The hotel's beach has really fine sand, and the room view was excellent. You can just lie on the balcony and watch the sea, which was super cozy in winter. A staff member, Coco, was responsible for our entire experience, from before check-in until after check-out, arranging everything and answering all our questions. Five stars for the thoughtful Coco! It's an older beachfront hotel, so it's understandable that the ventilation system might have a slight odor, but the room's cleanliness and facilities were well-maintained, so that minor issue didn't detract from our experience. There are also many great food options within walking distance of the hotel, and even our local Hainanese friend thought they were good."
