"The location of this hotel was excellent! We were in the Dolomites specifically to hike and we were able to easily walk to the cable car that brings you directly up to Alpe di Siusi and start hikes right from the hotel. The room was lovely with plenty of room to unpack our stuff. We had breakfast here each morning with the option of eggs or pancakes from the kitchen and we had an excellent dinner at the hotel one evening. Overall Waldrast Forestside Living is a great choice to base yourself for a trip to the Dolomite region, we would definitely stay again in the future!"

"I stayed at this property last weekend with three friends. The hotel looks much nicer on the website than it unfortunately does in reality, which is very different. I had booked a room for 4 adults and we ended up in a room with a bunk bed (children's size). After checking with reception they gave us an additional room. The spa area is nice even though the outside temperature of the pool was cold outside. Dinner was sufficient: we were not given the opportunity to choose the wine (including the house wine) and above all the portions were for children (pasta about 15/20 grams being abundant). I will never return and ZERO quality - price."

"SHAMEFUL. I booked with Booking a while ago for my wife and two friends (husband and wife). I asked to change the date about three weeks before arrival because my friend who was supposed to come is dying (a heart attack, 78 years old, has been in intensive care for almost three weeks). I was even ready to pay the full amount for the stay now. They blamed Booking, saying they couldn't change the date. Booking, however, tells me that they have no problem with changing the date. Booking contacted the hotel, but they said they don't agree and will apply the penalty. I also tried to contact them, but they said they don't agree and that even if my friend is dying, they must apply the penalty, according to the agreement made with Booking!!! This hotel is worth avoiding, but life is like a boomerang, who expects it?!"

"We stayed at La Paula for our honeymoon, and it was a perfect experience from the very first moment to the last. Right at check-in, we were welcomed by Manuela from the front desk warm, smiling, and incredibly friendly. Throughout our entire stay, the team pampered us and took care of everything we needed. Even the manager personally made sure we felt comfortable and well looked after. The hotel itself is perfect: clean, warm, and beautiful. Our room was spotless and felt brand new. And the view simply breathtaking. The entire staff was lovely. We asked for help with one small thing, and the team member we approached remembered it and took care of it within a short time. We are truly grateful and appreciative of the whole team. This was our honeymoon, and thanks to them, it was especially sweet. Highly recommend!"

"Very good cuisine with a great antipasti buffet. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a good location. The ski bus stops right outside. Unfortunately, the rooms (comfort double rooms) were of the standard of a youth hostel, very spartan and uncomfortably furnished for a high price. The sauna area also leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, unfortunately, the room furnishings mean that it is not good value for money!"
