"This place was the best after our long walk along the Great Wall. We started in Gubekiou and walked the wall until Jinshanling. The farmhouse was only about a 20 min walk from the entrance of the Great Wall which we were happy about. As soon as we walked up the owner ran up and welcomed us and showed us to our rooms. Each of our rooms had two small beds and a bathroom w a shower. Great value for your money. The family running it fed us delicious food for breakfast and dinner, were so welcoming and even helped us plan our next day hike. Would stay here again!"

"I had an excellent stay at this guest house. The family that runs it is very friendly and very helpful. Not a lot of English is spoken, but don't let that deter you, it's a very welcome place and they'll take care of your needs. They can provide a lot of info on visiting the Wall and the location is just a hundred meters from the entry gate to the Jinshanling Wall. Even though it's still a few 100 meters walking after that, this is the closest you can stay in case you want to get on the wall for sunrise. Dinner was very tasty. I would definitely come back!"

"The hotel is located at the entrance to the Jianshanling Scenic Area (a 20-minute walk to the entrance, where you can begin climbing the wall). To get there, we opted for a train from Beijingbei to Gubeikou and then arranged a transfer with the host. The host was very kind and welcoming, even offering us a free upgrade. The hotel is clean and welcoming, with a restaurant on the ground floor, convenient since there's nothing nearby. The food was good and reasonably priced. Thank you, I'd go back. 😊"

"Incredibly nice spot with such sweet owners! They took the time to sit down with me and discuss how to tackle Huangshan in the two days I would spend there. They also sell some prepackaged foods incase you still need some snacks for on the mountain. Also the view from this place is incredible. Room are also good. Their dog is super sweet! (It stays outside of the hotel, so do not worry about it if you are not a dog person). I would stay here again❤️"

"I have known the owner of this restaurant for many years. When I come to Jinshanling Great Wall, I always go to the Cui Family Courtyard for lunch. The proprietress Xiaoli is quick at work and the food is delicious. The whole family is very enthusiastic. This is the first time to stay at his house. The room is clean and comfortable. Not on the roadside, very quiet at night. It’s a great choice to watch the sunrise and sunset at Jinshanling Great Wall. The boss Er Ming is a photography enthusiast and a big anchor, and he can accompany him to climb the Great Wall."

"Advantages: 1. There is a simple breakfast, although there are not many things, but there is no problem with eating, noodles, rolls, porridge, boiled eggs and a few small pickles, saving time than going out to find a restaurant to eat. 2, there are both slippers and traditional foam slippers, the latter bath is very convenient. 3. The front desk staff is warm and responsive. Problems found: 1, after the bath, the water can not be drained immediately, the next day there is still water on the bathroom floor. 2. The water heater is connected to the large shower head. This shower head has a large amount of water. The hot water of the water heater cannot be supplied in the later stage, and the water becomes cold. So it is recommended to replace it with a small nozzle. The room I live in is on the innermost side of the corridor. Under the window is Xingang East Street where the hotel gathers. It is equivalent to going to the room to go to most of the street. Haha, so the room price is cheap? The disposable toiletries provided by the hotel are useless except for small soaps (the last picture), and the dental appliances and shampoo that you bring with you. In order to protect the environment, it is recommended that you use as little as possible disposable items. This kind of items are discarded once they are used up, which is not friendly to the environment."
