"It's good to arrive at the hostel in less than 10 minutes by shuttle bus! It's a very clean and comfortable hostel because it's just built! It was possible to cook simple food like a resort, so I bought kimchi and Shin Ramen at Wal-Mart, which is 10 minutes drive away, and boiled Shin Ramen. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and there is a social hour from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday to Wednesday. At this time, I think I can drink snacks and wine. ㅠㅠ We can't use it because the schedule ends late every day. It's a pity ㅠㅠㅠ And it was nice to be able to drink 24 hours tea and coffee in the lobby!"

"An unexpectedly warm stay, highly recommend to anyone visiting Toronto! Choosing ”Maplewood Abode” in downtown Toronto was an excellent decision. The location is superb, within walking distance to the subway and major shopping areas, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and sightseeing. What touched me most was the host. Communication was seamless throughout my stay, truly a case of ”no question left unanswered.” Whether it was advice on transit, restaurant recommendations, or tips on avoiding tourist traps, the host patiently offered tons of practical suggestions. Many were hidden gems only locals would know, saving me a lot of unnecessary detours. The room was decorated very warmly, the bedding was clean and soft, and the surroundings were quiet. I was able to get a sound night's sleep every day, and all my travel fatigue just melted away. Even more delightful, the host enthusiastically shared some homemade food with me! I tried a chicken bun and a pork and radish bun – the wrappers were thin, the filling generous, and the taste was wonderfully authentic home-style cooking. Each bite was full of human kindness. Overall, the experience far exceeded my expectations. It offered both the cleanliness and convenience of a hotel, along with the warmth of visiting a friend's home. I will definitely choose Maplewood Abode again on my next trip to Toronto, and I genuinely recommend it to anyone traveling for leisure or business in this city!"

"I would like to make a serious complaint. On day two of my stay, I hung the ”makeup room” hanger on the door before I went out in the morning. When I returned to my room around 7:30pm I found out that the room was not clean at all. I went down to ask the reception to get housekeeping to clean my room and was told there is no housekeeping available at the hour. I have to stay in my room unclean. That was uncomfortable. This is the first time i stayed in a hotel that is unable to makeup my room upon request"

The Holiday Inn® Toronto International Airport (YYZ) welcomes you to our airport hotel conveniently located minutes from Toronto's Pearson International Airport, one of the closest Hotels, but not on the flight path. Easy access to Highway 401, 427 and 407 will put guests just minutes away from Toronto attractions. You’ll love our 24-hour airport shuttle service and accessible location. We’re close to the Toronto Congress Centre and Toronto International Centre. Our flexible 20,000 sq ft of meeting facilities are the best among Toronto airport hotels. Combined with award-winning catering, we are ideal for any event. Nearby attractions like the Woodbine Race Track and Wet N Wild Water Park offer family fun. The Hotel includes 451 guest rooms and suites to complement the over sized lobby, public areas and flexible conference space. Our inviting restaurant, Bistro YYZ & Patio will tempt your palate for breakfast, lunch or dinner offering an array of beer and wines.

"This is my first time staying here and it may be my last time. Both the restaurant & maintenance staff were patient, polite, and thoughtful. One of the shuttle drivers was very detail-oriented and made sure to meet guests’ needs, which I greatly appreciate, but another driver was repeatedly late and had an awful, unprofessional attitude. Upon check-in, a deposit is required and while that per se isn’t a problem, the credit card terminal/machine was very difficult to navigate. It ended up blocking my credit card from being used anywhere which is a nightmare for any traveler especially as a lot of places I go to are cashless venues. The ‘do not disturb’ door sign keeps falling off the knob/handle every single time I open and close the door, which caused inconvenience repeatedly (not a one-off issue). I wish they would modernize the air conditioning system. The one in my room was not working at first, no heating in winter is intolerable, I had to get the thermostat replaced which again caused more inconvenience for me. Overall room cleanliness was fine except a few colored specks on one of the bath towels. The room curtains as well as the shower temperature were confusing to adjust. The HVAC noises were quite disruptive too. I just feel like there were so many problems that had to be solved and friction to endure before I could even find any enjoyment in my stay. I know this isn’t a 5-star luxury hotel but even with that in mind, it sure did find lots of ways to disappoint me."

I stayed at this hotel for one night, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best short stays I’ve had in a long time. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The host was absolutely amazing — extremely helpful, responsive, and professional throughout the entire stay. They answered all of my questions quickly, even after I had already checked in, which made the whole experience feel very smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find that level of attentiveness and genuine care. The view was simply stunning. I loved the beautiful water view — waking up and seeing the water right outside was such a peaceful and memorable experience. It truly elevated the entire stay. The unit itself was spotless and exceptionally clean. You can tell that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space. Everything felt fresh, organized, and very well taken care of. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it so convenient to prepare our own dinner. Having a proper kitchen setup really makes a difference, especially for a comfortable and relaxed night in. The location is another huge plus. The area is fantastic — so many restaurants and bars within walking distance, and even grocery stores nearby. Being able to walk everywhere made the stay even more enjoyable and convenient. Overall, this place is a solid 10/10. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, well-located place to stay downtown. Truly a five-star experience!

I could not have asked for a better location for our needs. I felt safe being right beside a police station, which was very reassuring. From the start, I was warmly greeted, and I even received a call within about 10 minutes of checking in to make sure everything was going well, which was a nice touch. The deposit was affordable and they did not ask me to sign a waiver for it, which I appreciated as it kept the check-in process simple. I was able to use a luggage cart to bring all of our bags and cooler up easily, and the elevator made it very convenient. There was plenty of space in the room to organize our things, and it was helpful to have a refrigerator for food and drinks. The bed was comfortable, and although I could hear my neighbour at times, I was still able to sleep well. I also enjoyed the clean pool area, which was well maintained. Breakfast was spacious with a good variety of options, making it an easy and pleasant start to the day. Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a great location with thoughtful service and good amenities.

The room was quite spacious, theoretically able to accommodate three people, which made it great value for money, but that was pretty much its only redeeming quality. Downsides: 1. No complimentary bottled water. 2. I booked a king-sized bed, but they gave me a twin room (claiming the price was the same, and when I went to check out a king room, there were a bunch of hairdryers being used, so I had no choice but to stay in the twin). 3. I stayed for two nights, and after the first night, no one cleaned the room or changed the towels on the second day (thankfully, I was staying alone and still had some to use). So, the low rating is definitely warranted.

We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Downtown Toronto! The hotel is conveniently located near the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The only small downside was the hotel parking, which was a little pricey at $40 per day. However, there are plenty of cheaper parking options nearby, so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again!

I was very satisfied with my stay at Samesun. The best part was the communal kitchen, where you could cook your own meals, and there was free breakfast every morning, including milk, bread, and fruit. I also took the opportunity to visit the Art Gallery of Ontario to see the John Lennon photography exhibition. Overall, it was a very satisfying travel experience.

I swore off comfort inn motels a couple of years ago, but I was desperate and this one was close to the airport for a fight diversion. They offered a shuttle service which took an hour and a 15 to get to me, 45 minutes longer than the 30 minute wait I was told. Room was clean, modern and the usual comfort inn smell. Bed and pillows comfortable. Good breakfast, again, not the usual comfort inn fruit loops and bagels

The rooms looked a little old, but other than that everything was fine until it came to the bathtub. The frame was not fitted against the floor, so every time you stepped in the entire bottom would move like you were walking on a pool cover.
