"Advantages: The service attitude is very good, and any problems are dealt with in a timely manner; free fruits are provided when you check in, and milk is provided in the evening; the room is spacious and the TV is in the middle, so it will not affect other rooms; the breakfast is rich in variety.
Disadvantages: The network is poor, and I can't watch videos even with WiFi; the sound insulation is poor, and I live in the row by the window, so I heard the sound of cars downstairs all night."

"Returning to Zhejiang from Fujian, I chose to rest here for a while, but I didn't expect a surprise. The hotel is on the edge of the city, very quiet and has a good environment. Although it is small but exquisite, the facilities are quite new, and it can indeed be called a boutique hotel. The parent-child room is large and has a balcony, which is relatively breathable. Milk and bread were also delivered in the evening. Parking is convenient, there is an underground garage, and the signs are very clear, so it is not difficult to find at all. It's very close to Wanda and convenient for eating. The bedding is also soft and comfortable. The bathroom shower is huge. All in all, very satisfied and recommended."
"The room decoration is good, spacious and bright, and modern; the room is equipped with smart speakers, smart toilets, etc., it can be seen that the decoration is still thoughtful.
Other guests described the air conditioning sound as loud, it does exist, mainly the quality of the central air conditioning, not suitable for guests who are sensitive to sound, it doesn't matter if I can't wake up to thunder.
Where to improve: the smell in the room is not good, and the smoke-free treatment effect is not enough. The quality of breakfast needs to be improved."
"The facilities in the room are relatively simple. It is enough to use. After all, it is Hanting, and there is nothing to blame.
The front desk service attitude is not good, and it should not be called.
Breakfast is very poor, poor, poor. The breakfast buffet is very small, the worst review point, I don’t know what to eat in the morning, if I don’t have to add breakfast here in a hurry, go out and eat.
There is no main control of the lights, there is an old-fashioned switch.
There is no separation of wet and dry.
The layout of the bathroom is unreasonable, the bathroom glass door and the bathroom door conflict, and it is very troublesome to enter and exit.
To sum up, it is very Hanting, there is no new Hanting living in a small all-season feeling."

The hotel has its own parking lot, which is very convenient and niec👍👍. There are very few hotels in Yanping District that have such a large parking lot. The breakfast is also very good. "The room was good, the sanitation was quite clean, there was a dirty quilt in the cabinet, I don't know if it was used by the last guest. The roll paper in the bathroom was not added in time, and it was added by calling the front desk. The phone may have been used for too long and no one used it, and it fell gray. In fact, you can make a set, and you don’t look uncomfortable. The restaurant downstairs has a large plate and a large amount of dishes. It is the first time I saw such an affordable amount of dishes in the south. During the holidays, the price is not high, and the hotel is very cost-effective."

GGuest UserWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

11860089****Traveling to Wuyishan during the off-season was wonderful; the autumn scenery was absolutely stunning with everything golden-hued. I specifically chose a guesthouse to better appreciate Wuyishan's natural beauty. Shuizhuang No. 8 Guesthouse is truly nestled within a park, offering distant mountain views and a close-up look at the river while you sip tea and admire the ginkgo trees right outside your door. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but the surroundings are also quiet and comfortable. It's conveniently located with great transport links, and both the dining and accommodation are excellent. The service is warm and courteous, and the staff are very prompt in providing assistance. I'd highly recommend staying here over a hotel!

HhkustsungodExcellent stay!
I received a free room upgrade, which included a bathtub and a wet/dry separation in the bathroom.
The guesthouse lobby has two adorable cats, a British Shorthair named 'Jinbao' and a Golden British Shorthair named 'Zhaocai'. Zhaocai is quite a rebel and will playfully swat at anyone, but Jinbao is super friendly and lets you pet her as long as you have cat treats.
The overall accommodation environment was fantastic. What was even better was their restaurant. We stayed for two nights and had all three of our main meals at the guesthouse. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly suited our taste buds.
In contrast, many restaurants within the Wuyishan scenic area can be hit or miss – I won't name names, but there are just too many 'influencer' spots.
Right across the road from the guesthouse is 'Impression Dahongpao', which was a great show to catch in the evening. A short walk further is the Tea Culture Park, and if you follow the path deep into the park, you'll find a famous walking trail. Every weekend evening, there's a band that performs there for free.
On the morning we went to the Wuyishan National Park, we even borrowed a traditional bamboo hat from the guesthouse, which was a fun experience.
The only slight downside was breakfast; it wasn't quite to my liking as it was a bit greasy and salty. So, on the second morning, we went out for Zixi noodles instead.
The soundproofing in the room could be better; I could hear conversations in the hallway in the morning, but it wasn't a major issue.
I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located very close to the south entrance of Wuyishan, making it convenient to stroll and eat at the pedestrian street. The hotel service is warm and the place is clean and hygienic. The owner is very kind and upgraded our room for free. He also gave us two small packets of authentic Da Hong Pao tea. The hotel has complete facilities and amenities. The hotel's own back garden is beautiful, and there is a bookstore with a large floor-to-ceiling window facing Da Wang Peak. The sunset view in the evening is absolutely stunning. It was a truly wonderful experience.

JJay87Whether you're already passionate about tea or just starting your journey, Buzhichun is the perfect place to stay in Wuyishan — a city deeply rooted in tea culture.
The room is spacious, super clean, and thoughtfully designed with minimalist touches. The natural colors and materials create a calming atmosphere that feels like home — perfect for slow living. The bathroom is large, spotless, and well-equipped with amenities. I especially loved the beautiful natural light in the room.
On the ground floor, there’s a vibrant tea shop where young locals drop by, creating a lively atmosphere. You'll find historical exhibitions and curated objects that offer insight into both Wuyishan and the rich heritage of Chinese tea. And don’t miss meeting Xiaobai, the friendly resident dog who’s always happy to greet guests.
The 6th floor features a cozy tatami-style common room, complete with a go board and a tea table overlooking stunning panoramic mountain views — an ideal place to unwind.
What truly sets this place apart is the host and the staff. They’re warm, welcoming, and always ready to share tea with you — each time you return from a walk or come downstairs. I stayed two nights and tried at least 6–7 different kinds of Wuyishan tea. Even as a solo traveler and a foreigner, I felt included in conversations and easily connected with other guests.
Pro tip: If you know a bit of Chinese, it’ll help you dive deeper into the stories behind the place. But even if you don’t, the language of tea will still make you feel at home.
Thank you, Buzhichun, for turning my trip to Wuyishan into such a memorable experience.

KKalikongThe owner and his staff were really friendly. He also provided assistance, information and tips for the scenic attractions. His photography work is displayed in his home stay and also on the tv of the complementary Wuyishan bus service. It’s in a natural surrounding so expect one or two insects to come by.
Breakfast is simple — I (and a passing wasp) love the tea eggs so much I bought extra for lunch and dinner. They sell Dahongpao ice cream too and it’s cheaper for guests compared to the ones outside.
He also sells tea leaves. And I bought some because the taste of the samplers were good.
The only gripe I have is with the shower — water pressure is not good but that’s not the location’s fault. It took a while for me to finally turn the knob to the magic spot where water temperature is just right — not too cold and not too hot. But hey, I’m paying to stay smack in the middle of the scenic area.

NNaxidazhongduyilaiThis hotel deserves a five-star review! My trip to Wuyishan was made so comfortable and hassle-free by Jinjiang Metropolo, it completely exceeded my expectations!
The hotel has a free tea room on the ground floor, so you can sit down and enjoy tea anytime after checking in. The authentic Wuyi rock tea has a rich aroma. Brewing a pot during leisure time helps shed the fatigue of travel and allows for an immersive experience of the local tea culture – it was truly delightful.
The staff provided incredibly attentive service. They proactively helped plan my travel itinerary, clearly outlining the order of attractions and transportation methods. They also accurately recommended authentic local restaurants frequented by locals, helping me avoid tourist traps and enjoy delicious, affordable meals, completely solving any dining dilemmas during my trip.
The Da Hong Pao tea sold at the hotel is of superior quality. After trying it, I immediately bought some. It's perfect for personal consumption or as a gift, with guaranteed authenticity, so there's no need to bother searching for specialty stores.
The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The hotel's location is close to both the scenic area and the old street, making getting around very convenient. The entire experience was excellent, with thoughtful service and a rich tea culture atmosphere. This is definitely my top choice for a trip to Wuyishan, and I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it to all tea lovers and travelers!

Very Good
GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was big and sunny, very silent, the bed comfortable, the heating worked really well and the shower gets nice and hot if you wait for a while. It’s off season right now, but we were still surprised to see that the hotel was practically empty, it deserves more clients.
It’s one of the few hotels inside the park which is very convenient, and much nicer than the ones outside of the park that look really sad and ugl. We much preferred waking up with a view on the tea plantations. The staff doesn’t speak English at all but they’re very kind and will try their best to understand all your needs through translation apps. We ended up staying a day less and they were kind enough to give us the breakfast for free. They will also offer you to taste their local tea in the hall, which is delicious and served in the traditional way which is fascinating to watch.
The furniture and overall look of the hotel might be a little dated, but we actually liked it, it gives character compared to all the ultra modern, aseptic hotels. The breakfast was really abundant and delicious, typical of the area which we loved. The only real inconvenience is that didi won’t be able to leave you at the hotel entrance, it will be stopped at the park entrance which is a 10 minutes walk on a road busy with all the park’s buses. The solution is either booking the car directly through the hotel, or ask the hotel to register your didi’s plate so it can enter the park. We did this when we visited the nearby Xiamei village and it worked.

XXihuanfeixiangdezhuOverall, I am satisfied with the old-fashioned style. The room is clean and tidy with complete facilities. Some suggestions: First, after booking a room, you have to go to the door by yourself, unlike other B&B owners who will contact you +V to remind you of things to pay attention to. Second, the house is not far from the north and south entrances of Wuyi Mountain, and is only across a bridge from the dining area, but you need to explore there by yourself. Third, when I was staying upstairs at night, I met two people chatting and walking around. The room was not soundproofed and the noise was very loud. I was woken up at around two o'clock in the middle of the night. I went out to look for the service staff, but no one was on duty. I could only stand in the yard and shout. Later, I ran upstairs and knocked on the door to remind them before they went to sleep quietly.

AAnonymous UserThe room smells of smoke, the bathroom light is not bright enough, it is recommended to install a mirror light, the reception is generally enthusiastic, the room service is not bad, the view outside the window is great, and the breakfast is also good
