"I picked this hotel as a jump-off point to visit Guanquan Canyon and Jingbian Wave Valley. It's located in Baota district of Yan'an. The location is great as it's only five minutes walk from the Yan'an High Speed Railway Station. Even if you have big luggage like mine, it's still manageable walk to the hotel.
The hotel reception was wonderful. One of the girls, unfortunately I didn't take her name, was extremely helpful and tried hard to retrieve the packages I ordered to the hotel from several storage locations for me. It shows that she was dedicated to her job to assist guests without complaints.
Breakfast is available and included in my reservation. It's standard Chinese breakfast. They even provided warm orange juice which I surprisingly like.
The hotel has a self-service laundry room with free detergent. This is a great plus for me.
The only complain I may have is, although this is not a unique situation in China, the stinkiness of cigarette smoking in the room and corridor. Thankfully it's March when I visited as I had to close window as cigarette smell came through the window. This is very unfortunate indeed."

"The front desk lady sister service is very intimate, I am very afraid of noisy and because there are fewer vacancies on the evening of Valentine's Day, I specially picked a quieter room for me, and the whole service was very patient and picked me for a long time. But! Hotel public security management needs to be improved! ! I ran into a drunk man in the elevator in the middle of the night, and I was scared. He didn’t have a card, so he followed me in the elevator. After a while, he slept directly in the corridor, speechless, and then I didn’t rest all night. I don’t know if the air conditioner is still outside or what sound is ticking all night. I didn't sleep well, but fortunately, the security uncle handled it very well. After reflecting with him, he went out for ten minutes and found that the drunk was no longer there. But it is understandable that there is a shopping mall next to the hotel, but it is recommended to strictly review otherwise it is really scary."

"I can’t remember whether the room I stayed in was 210 or that room. Outside the window was a very dirty rubbish building and ditch, devastated and in ruins. Of course, this place was beyond the scope of the hotel and I couldn’t control it.
The hotel room is very clean. The breakfast has authentic delicious potato tzacha. The front desk clerk, restaurant waiter, and security guard all provide very good service. Thumbs up👍🏻
There has been a strange sound at night, and it sounded just when I was about to go to sleep. The security guard came, the sound disappeared, and soon it started again. It was creepy all night long, and I was always half awake and half asleep.
In the early morning of the next day, after running, I was soaked until there was no dry place, because it rained very heavily that day in Yan'an. I turned on the faucet to take a shower, but it made the same strange noise as last night. There was no water, not at all, but the water was smaller than urine. It turns out that the sound last night came from the faucet wall."

"My first trip to Yan'an Baotashan Hotel was a fantastic experience – so worry-free! The room was spacious and bright, and the two beds were just the right firmness for a good night's sleep. The floor was spotless, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. Children's toiletries were available free of charge. Located in the city center, the hotel is very convenient, close to tourist attractions and food streets. The front desk helped with luggage storage and recommended nearby sightseeing routes. There's a self-service laundry room that's clean, safe, and hygienic. The lobby is cozy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and there's plenty of hot water with stable pressure. The vanity mirror light is perfect for makeup. It's a 5-minute walk to Baotashan, and the surrounding area is full of delicious food. The front desk service was warm and attentive. I highly recommend the local popular snack shops – fast internet, great value, friendly staff, and prompt response to any needs. A top choice for your trip!"

"I stayed in room 8806. The bedding was quite clean, and it was my first time experiencing a Northern Shaanxi-style *tuokang* (heated brick bed), which was absolutely fantastic! However, I did discover some hygiene issues: there was mold in multiple corners of the bathroom shower, and the sink's drain pipe was leaking onto the floor. I hope the hotel takes these hygiene concerns seriously.
The hotel lacks a laundry room, and given the hot weather, it would be great to have facilities for washing and drying clothes.
Breakfast was decent, and the à la carte dishes for lunch were quite tasty.
During my four-day, three-night stay, I visited several 'Red Tourism' sites, including Ganquan Grand Canyon and Wave Valley, as well as some century-old restaurants in Yan'an, which was a wonderful experience."

I genuinely and highly recommend this hotel. I travel frequently for work and leisure, staying in many hotels, but this is the first time I've felt compelled to leave a glowing review. First off, the room is very spacious and incredibly comfortable. It seems like it was renovated recently, as the facilities are excellent, and everything is spotless and tidy! What I loved most is that the toilet and shower are separate! I was very satisfied with the room arrangement [strong]. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the front desk attendant warmly greeted me and quickly handled check-in. The hotel lobby features many calligraphies and paintings for guests to admire, a tea bar area, and numerous antique items. Overall, the hotel's ambiance is very appealing. The parking lot is large and convenient. The hotel breakfast is also very rich, offering some local specialties from Yan'an, such as 'He Zha Mian' (mixed noodles) and 'Yang Yu Cha Cha' (forked potato dish). They tasted absolutely wonderful [strong]! Next time I come to Yan'an, I will definitely choose this hotel again. It was a truly memorable stay, and I hope Shengxin Hotel continues to thrive [strong].

First of all, the view room is very, very awkward, and the Yellow River Monsanto Gate Scenic Area is outside the window. The room decoration is very chic. Parking is very, very convenient, this is a luxury in the mountains. Equipped with charging piles. There is a washing machine and a place to dry clothes in the yard. The hotel also has a water machine, and the room has a bucket of water, which is very convenient. There is also a souvenir when leaving the store. My God, this is too righteous! Opposite the hotel is the restaurant. The restaurant charges reasonable and tastes good. Xingcheng Yan'an Baotashan Branch was amazing! The location is superb, within walking distance of Baotashan and Erdaojie Night Market, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very restful sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, even recommending local restaurants and sightseeing routes. The breakfast was plentiful, including Shaanxi-style noodles with minced meat sauce—great value for money! A must-stay in Yan'an, I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

We went there mainly to go to Hukou Waterfall early the next morning, and it turned out to be the right choice. If we hadn't stayed there in advance and drove directly to Hukou Waterfall, we would have been stuck in traffic for a long time in the afternoon.

The room is located in Yan'an High-tech Zone, surrounded by several large hotels, barbecue, supermarket, and many foods. The room is large, clean and tidy, the breakfast is rich and delicious! The staff is good, warmly introduce us to the food, the charging pile location. My sister said it was the best hotel I have ever stayed in during the National Day.

We arrived in the evening. It's not far from Baota Mountain, in the Baota District. Parking is a bit difficult; there are very limited spaces. However, the overall environment is quite nice. The room cleanliness was just average. The bed was large and comfortable. It's a good choice for traveling with children and family! The service was very good, but the breakfast was a bit too simple.
