The fatigue from your journey simply melts away. 🍜 The breakfast in the morning is thoughtfully prepared, offering both Chinese rice noodles and simple meals. Enjoying breakfast amidst the scent of flowers is the perfect way to kick off a leisurely day in Lijiang. ✨ The rooftop viewing platform is the biggest surprise! Look up and gaze over the layers of gray tiles of the ancient town. On a clear day, you can even see the distant Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. During the day, sunbathe and drink coffee; in the evening, wait for the sunset glow; at night, watch the myriad lights of the old town. No need to go out and jostle for views at tourist spots; you can capture stunning scenes right from the hotel. Quietly nestled amidst the bustle, and very close to the ancient city's streets. After exploring the old town, return to this flower-filled courtyard, sip coffee, and take in the scenery. This is the relaxed vibe a Lijiang vacation should have.

By chance, I booked this guesthouse/hotel located at the top of Lion Rock, and the overall environment and hygiene were excellent. Not only can you get a panoramic view of the ancient city, but you can also see the snow-capped mountains right from your room. The third-floor terrace is very comfortable; in the afternoon, they offer complimentary drinks, and you can enjoy the scenery while basking in the sun, which is incredibly relaxing. The owner, a young man, is also wonderful – cheerful and kind-hearted. Since I was traveling with my 80-year-old mother to Lijiang this time, the owner was incredibly thoughtful, paying attention to every detail to ensure her comfort. Bringing my mother here has been a long-cherished wish of mine, and she was very satisfied with her two-day stay at this guesthouse. Many thanks to the owner for making these the best memories for my mother in Lijiang. Good conscience is the best brand, and kindness is priceless. Nestled just off the main road at the entrance to Yuhu Village, Baolin Homestay surprisingly keeps a perfect distance from the hustle and bustle. Stepping into the courtyard, you instantly grasp the true meaning of 'tranquility in the midst of noise': outside, you hear the clip-clop of horse hooves and the chatter of tourists, while inside, only the rustling of leaves in the wind and the distant whisper of snow-capped mountains can be heard. Right outside is the village's main street, with cafes and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. Turning right leads directly to the path down the mountain and open fields, incredibly convenient for hiking or horse riding. The courtyard layout is particularly delightful. We stayed in a private Loft-style courtyard, with a balcony on the first floor where two rattan chairs offer views of dark grey eaves and a patch of blue sky. The second floor features another small terrace with mountain views. The two levels are independent and offer excellent sound insulation. The room's decor combines raw wood and stone for a rustic feel, the bedding is soft, and the hot water is fast and consistent. The room rate includes a simple dinner for two, and the chef's cooking is excellent – a plate of local cured pork stir-fried with mushrooms, savory and imbued with a wild, earthy flavor; the stir-fried seasonal vegetables were crisp, tender, and sweet, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Breakfast was plentiful, with hot congee, rice noodles, and side dishes, setting a great mood for the day. The front desk lady is the heart and soul of this place. Meticulous, diligent, and thoughtful, she brought us a warm, sweet dessert soup every evening that warmed us to our fingertips. Her drinks are never perfunctory, whether it's freshly ground coffee or ginger-date milk tea, all made with genuine care. The three little cats are the lively treasures of the courtyard, bringing the whole place to life. Our three days at Baolin were not luxurious, but everything was perfectly arranged; not ostentatious, yet unforgettable. This stone-walled courtyard in Yuhu Village – it will gently embrace you with a warm meal, a comforting drink, and a quiet night.

Traveling to Lijiang with my child this summer, I chose to stay at Le Mansong and was pleasantly surprised throughout our trip. It's perfect for self-driving, with convenient parking available, saving us the hassle of searching for a spot around the Old Town. The guesthouse's courtyard is elegant, and the large waterwheel inside is a unique feature – great for Instagrammable photos. The room amenities were impressive, including a Dyson hairdryer and a Dyson humidifier, which really elevated the quality of our stay. The spacious courtyard allowed my child to play freely while the adults could relax in peace. It's a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the Old Town. Overall, the living experience was excellent, suitable for both family trips and road travelers. I really made the right choice! This guesthouse is right by the ancient city, very close to the Big Waterwheel, so I didn't have to drag my luggage over cobblestone streets. It was incredibly convenient for getting around, offering a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. The courtyard is exquisitely decorated with lush greenery everywhere. The tea room and rooftop terrace are beautiful – every photo I took looked amazing. My room was spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep. The concierge service was incredibly warm and helpful; they assisted with planning my itinerary and responded quickly to any requests. Absolutely stunning!!! This is hands down my favorite hotel in Lijiang. The hotel has its own super spacious ranch, so big you could easily spend a whole day just enjoying the property. The west side offers beautiful natural scenery, and waking up to the gorgeous ranch view instantly lifts your spirits. The east side has a charming courtyard style with quaint bridges and flowing water – very relaxing. It's also very quiet at night, perfect for a good sleep. The entire room smells lovely, and they offer afternoon tea and a 'goodnight soup' every day, which is a really nice touch. It was such a comfortable experience, I will definitely be back! Plus, there's an observation deck on the second floor with amazing views.

There was no sense of being in a foreign land. The room's decor was simple yet sophisticated, with excellent amenities, comfortable bedding, and a spacious, bright feel. The floor-to-ceiling window was simply amazing; opening it revealed the ancient town's tiled rooftops, with fluffy clouds overhead and layer upon layer of distant mountains. The sunrise and sunset views were picture-perfect. Sitting by the window, quietly zoning out, I felt completely relaxed. The environment was quiet and peaceful, not noisy at all. Its location right next to Mu's Residence made it incredibly convenient, whether I was heading out to explore or returning to the guesthouse to rest. My solo journey felt perfectly placed here, with no sense of strangeness, only comfort and peace of mind. If I ever return to this area, I would undoubtedly choose this place again. I genuinely recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Lijiang Old Town.

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated right near Baisha Ancient Town and at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it boasts a prime, front-row view of the mountain. With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home. The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!
