This hotel is a hidden gem! You can see the snow-capped mountains right from your bed, and it's just steps away from the Grand Water Wheel – a truly prime location. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with beautiful scenery at every turn. The facilities are top-notch, and they even offer a dedicated shuttle service and personalized butler service. The hotel itself is a beautiful blend of Song Dynasty aesthetics and Naxi style. Everything is brand new and incredibly comfortable. The service is exceptional! I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Lijiang!

First time travel to Lijiang, fortunate of choosing right choice staying with Arula-J. From troublefree guest pick up at arrival train station to hotel, impressive hotel cultural architecture, warm staff hospitality, clean and peaceful feel yet conveniently to busy most happening ancient city streets without the noise as we were worry about. Most interesting about this hotel is, they assigned you a specific butler staff who attend to every kind of your needs throughout your stays, this is so useful for 1st timer and you feel secured just like having a friend who stay in Lijiang that you can communicate anytime anywhere. During my time in Lijiang, this was the only hotel I was truly satisfied with. I was honestly so tired of those so-called 'owner-run' B&Bs where you pay good money but get no sense of service, feeling cramped like you're intruding in someone else's home. Hygiene: Everything was excellent. Environment: Remarkably good. Both the reception and the hotel's public areas are exceptionally spacious for the Old Town. A major plus is that it's just a five-minute walk along the main road from the parking lot. Many B&Bs in the Old Town, even those not cheap, are tucked away down winding alleys with cramped receptions and gardens. This place truly offers the facilities of a proper hotel. The garden is also beautifully maintained. All public areas are lovely, well-equipped, and there's even a play area for children. The complimentary travel photography service also had very kind staff. Service: Every staff member I encountered was excellent, from management to restaurant and front desk staff. They not only greeted me proactively but also offered enthusiastic help. I've already recommended it to all my friends planning to visit Lijiang. I hope the owner continues to have great business, and that both the pets and staff receive even better welfare and benefits.

I came here because of the high ratings, and overall, I felt that the staff's enthusiasm and professionalism were higher than average hotels. The score seems quite fair. The two rooms were arranged very close to each other. The whole room was smart-enabled, and you could see the snow-capped mountains. If the weather is good, you must participate in the mushroom foraging activity; it's a great walk, and the mountain scenery is excellent. We followed the guide and found some huge mushrooms, and even with young children, they didn't get impatient. Being inside the scenic area meant avoiding queues and traffic jams, which was great about this village. When we left, there was heavy traffic here. The atmosphere was excellent, and during meals, there would be restaurant managers singing and frequently asking about the food. The restaurant was very distinctive. The elders wanted bags or other things, and their requests were met. The two little dogs were very cute and diligent, and the kids absolutely loved them. You could tell the hotel staff were very caring. The handicraft workshop was also fantastic; you could DIY art pieces. The hotel isn't big, and there aren't many cars, but they still provided a pick-up service. When we left, they even dropped us off at Medclub. Longnv Lake is just a two-step walk away, a scenic spot suitable for all ages. There's an even more distant place with better scenery, but we didn't go because we had the whole family with us. All in all, it was a great experience. Just a note, my room on the first floor had a step at the bed, so be careful.

This has been the most satisfying B&B I've ever stayed in. The facilities are excellent, the service is attentive, and responses are quick. They offer free high-speed rail pickup, luggage transfer, welcome afternoon tea, and bedtime milk. When we found a drain odor in our room, the staff checked it out and upgraded us immediately, resolving the issue promptly. The toiletries are also high-end, and you can even take home the slippers, bath towels, and regular towels. Aside from the slight noise issue and a limited breakfast selection, everything else was perfect. I would definitely choose Po Xin Yun She again next time.

This hotel offers great value for money. For the price, the room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Housekeeping did an excellent job. The staff, in general, were very professional. The only minor downside was that breakfast could use some improvement. However, the lady in the white shirt at breakfast was exceptionally kind; she noticed we weren't comfortably seated and proactively helped us find a better spot. Perhaps due to high occupancy, the water pressure in the shower was very unstable, fluctuating between hot and cold. Also, the room slippers were very thin and extremely slippery, so one needs to be careful when wearing them.

The Shirock Hotel is located in Yuhu Village, a small village at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. You need to inform the hotel in advance if you're driving into the village. First of all, the hotel's location is excellent. It's very quiet around the hotel, but about 200 meters away is Yuhu Village's main shopping street, which is very lively. There are various trendy cafes, Western restaurants, local eateries, and different stalls. You can also experience horseback riding there, giving you a feeling of prosperity within reach. Prices in Yuhu Village are exceptionally cheap; yak meat skewers are 10 yuan for three. The skewers aren't small either. For horseback riding, if you want to try it, you can ride for 10 minutes for 20 yuan, which is great for taking photos. The hotel service is also very good. Staff members wait in the parking lot in advance to help us with our luggage. From 3 PM onwards, folk singers perform at the hotel. If the weather is clear, they play and sing on the large outdoor lawn. Looking at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain while listening to folk music is very pleasant. We experienced the Naxi family visit recommended by the hotel, which cost 100 yuan per person. During the visit, the Naxi people prepared many local snacks and tea. We also experienced grinding soybeans, and the hosts made us tofu pudding and soy milk, both of which were delicious. They also taught us about Naxi hieroglyphs. You can also try on Naxi ethnic costumes at their home. _The hotel's breakfast is relatively simple but sufficient. Basic eggs, milk, coffee, rice noodles, noodles, porridge, and some bacon, fries, etc., are provided, along with toast and bread. In the morning, there's also a special 'bao bing' (wrapped pancake) activity, where children enjoy wrapping various nuts and raisins and then baking them themselves. The hotel also offers other activities, such as Yuhu Village exploration and a 'plant hunter' hike, which we unfortunately didn't have time to experience. Here, it feels like time slows down, allowing you to explore at a leisurely pace. Yuhu Village gives off a very tranquil, comfortable, and peaceful vibe. If you're visiting Lijiang's Shuhe Ancient Town, you absolutely cannot miss the amazing Guanxin Inn! The environment here is beautiful, with lush greenery in the courtyard and fresh air that instantly helps you relax. The bedding in the rooms is exceptionally comfortable – a good night's sleep here will leave you feeling completely refreshed! The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive; no matter what you need, they'll help you out, making you feel as warm and welcome as if you were at home. Step outside the inn and you can immediately experience the ancient town's unique charm and leisurely pace of life, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation and capturing some great photos! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and immersive experience of Lijiang's culture!

I stayed at this hillside manor with my mom and 3-year-old baby, and it was a great experience. It's close to Shuhe Ancient Town yet very quiet. The room was spacious, with green mountain views right outside the window. The amenities were top-notch: Dyson hairdryer, L'Occitane toiletries, and a smart toilet. The whole house has soundproof mats, which is perfect for families with kids – my child could run around without disturbing neighbors, and my mom slept peacefully at night. The large courtyard was great for the little one to play, and we could also experience intangible cultural heritage handicrafts. The service was attentive, and they offered practical sightseeing tips. It's ideal for a slow family vacation, highly recommended.
