"Last review before my last one dates back to 2021 and in 5 years nothing has changed, only 5 more years... it's not possible in 2026 a 2-star with the characteristics of 1960s guesthouses... and to those who talk to me about price, I reply that we are used to staying out from 8 am to 11 pm and only sleeping in the room and I can name dozens of names throughout Italy that for the same price you get much more. The only positive note is the cleanliness of the room, while the bathrooms are literally falling apart. Breakfast is decent."

"We stayed three nights in Villa la Ginestra while on a first visit to the area to plan a family reunion. Our stay was delightful in every way and Federico, whose family house this is, is a generous, helpful and kind host. He is also a wonderful cook and deeply knowledgeable about the region. All of his recommendations for activities, food and wine were excellent and practical. Federico is someone who is determined to do things well while always focussing on his guests' comfort. The rooms, house and garden are all very clean and comfortable, and all was quiet. Everything was exactly as advertised. If he is available to do so, Federico will prepare a lovely dinner. Advance notice is required, as he prepares everything fresh. The location is convenient for exploring a beautiful region."

"If you want a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, in an enchanting place (with a swimming pool among other things) near Arezzo, here is la ginestra: it will be your place ❤️, the owner is the top 🔝 for hospitality, kindness, he welcomes the customer as few can do: he is ready to satisfy your every request... breakfasts prepared by him are delicious, coffee offered, and kindly brought even in the middle of the morning. I highly recommend it... I hope to return soon...😍😍 "
