"Wonderful place. We paid for 14500 yen for 2 nights room upgrade because the usual twin bed room of 17 sq m is really too small for 2 suitcases etc. We took a cab from Tajimi station to the hotel for 660 yen, which is quite worth it. It was fun meeting the Japanese tourists who were staying in the hotel. Loved the free drink and free noodles at night. Breakfast was good and they kept refilling, even after 9am."

"The hotel is located in front of Tajimi Station, and access is convenient even by rental car thanks to the large parking lot. The daily parking fee is 900 yen, which is not a significant burden, but the hotel does not have a partnership with the parking lot. With cozy room sizes and a large public bath, it is comparable to the standard of a business hotel in Japan, and the staff are friendly while maintaining a high level of cleanliness. Breakfast is served with slight variations each day and is of excellent quality. However, since it starts at 06:30, it was a bit inconvenient for travelers who need to leave early."

"The hotel is quite old, and the location is difficult to get to on foot (no sidewalks in parts, etc.) It seems there was a serious accident with the water supply during my stay, and I was rebooked to another hotel, but the staff could not figure out how to notify me, so I was only informed upon arriving. The main entrance is also up a flight of stairs, and it is not accessibility friendly. Nevertheless, I think it is a decent budget option. Even if the staff couldn’t respond efficiently to the issue, they did respond and I was booked at another hotel that was acceptable. The price is also very good, so if you are able to handle the trek there, you can save a lot of money."

"I stayed for five nights. The hotel is a bit outdated, but the location was convenient for us and it’s close to a large supermarket. The staff were very accommodating. I originally booked a twin room because no single rooms were available, but when I checked in, they were able to change it for me. The room was tiny and clean, with comfortable bed, it has enough storage space and a table that I can work from. I enjoyed my room and the view. The breakfast was good, with a nice range of selections."

"We changed our plans at the last minute after seeing a travel ad for Tajimi Hotel. Our initial reason for choosing this hotel was its proximity to the station and the presence of a hot spring bath. However, it far exceeded our expectations. Firstly, the room, though small, didn't feel cramped; secondly, the breakfast was satisfying; thirdly, the evening happy hour was enjoyable; fourthly, the rooftop hot spring bath offered a panoramic view; and fifthly, the staff were very friendly. We would definitely choose to stay here again if given the opportunity."

"My initial worry about all the staff being Indian quickly disappeared when they greeted me in fluent Japanese. The building is old, but you can tell they've put effort into maintaining it. The only downsides were that the shower water took a while to warm up in the morning, and the initial water had an odd smell. This goes away after running it for a bit, so just be mindful at the start. The view from the 5th floor was decent."
