The Wine Vine Hotel ★★★★

"Chose  this motel mainly because of having a restaurant. This is advertised in the trip.com page. On arrival, told no restaurant. Disappointment #1. Photos of grounds on trip.com look nice. Needs a desperate tidy up. Disappointment #2. Double bed room spacious. Low round table two low  chairs. Elderly prefer a higher chair and table. Disappointment #3 Trip hazard entering the ‘wet’ area as the tile is raised higher than the carpet. Watch this! Plenty hot water for shower, shower space squeezy. Bed comfy enough for budget hotel. Good for a night or two."

Mercure Barossa Valley ★★★

"Clean hotel, excellent location just next to city centre, very spacious room and good facilities. Service was good too. Free treats with a bottle of wine upon check in. Only drawback is you may hear some noise from the other room and the water pressure could be better. Otherwise, it is just perfect! Breakfast is also delicious with good selection of food and great coffee prepared by staff. Hotel restaurant is also reasonably priced"

Valley Hotel ★★

"This little gem is in the heart of Tununda! The tourist information centre is across the road from the hotel. The museum is down the road, as well as little cafes and lovely boutiques. The location is very convenient, as it's close to the supermarket, laundromat, pic⁹k up point for Trailhopper bus and the local bus stop. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the rooms are beautiful, clean and quiet. Will definitely return to Barossa and stay here again 💖"

"We stayed here recently. The cottage is beautiful, clean, warm (electric fire place and hearing) and, very close to town only a 5 - 10 minute walk. We were also happily surprised to find some breakfast makings for us (bread, cereal, jams, milk and orange juice). Highly recommend."

"We spent 3 nights here between Xmas & New Year. Great location, 10 mins to Tanunda ($25 in a taxi) and even closer to many good wineries. The grounds and facilities were amazing, our cottage was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Would highly recommend"
