"Stayed in Stable Cottage for a couple of nights. Wonderful place to relax and unwind. Very cosy cottage, lovely sat sitting by the log burner reading. Will definitely visit again. "Spent 2 nights and never again. Room was tiny and so hot even with the window open and fan on all day and night. It was only 18 degrees so heaven knows what it would be like in a heatwave. Mu husband could barely get in the bed from his side as it was so cramped space. The table was so full of stuff there was no where to put our things. We asked for a quiet room as I am unwell and it was quiet but up 3 flights of stairs which isn't great for myself or my 76 year old husband. The bathroom was large with nice toiletries but after showering was like a sauna as no extraction system . The outlook was unbelievable. A broken fence and rubbish on someones roof. The receptionist was very unhelpful. Would not recommend or return."
