Ritsa Resort

Ritsa Resort

📍 Ekvtime Takaishvili 143b, Ureki
★★★★ 9.4 (2 reviews)

"We stayed at Ritsa Resort for 4 nights and the main purpose of our visit was to swim in the sea and sun-bathe. The hotel is very good, a 4-star European kind run by a family. It has a pool (10 by 5m) and an outstanding restaurant with Georgian and European cuisine (menu in English, Russian and Georgian). The choice of wines is rather decent but nice. Personnel is courteous and unobtrusively helpful. Ritsa is close to the beach which is popular by its black sand of volcanic origin. The surroundings are quiet, no vibrant night life typical for such communities though I would mark lack of beach entertainments either. Suitable for families with little kids."

Kolkhida Resort & Spa

Kolkhida Resort & Spa

📍 E. Takaishvili str. #117, Ureki

"I had to wait until I got back to write this review, because I didn't want to ruin the rest of my vacation by remembering my experience in Kolkhida. The swimming pool, the garden, the building (to some extent), and of course the beach, are very nice. But everything else... -The room and the bathroom were unbelievably dirty and rusty. -They only bring water bottles to the room once (the day you check in). -They don't bring coffee or tea to the room (and no cups as well), but there is a kettle. -The mattress was totally worn out and had springs coming out of it. -The wifi was not working. -The food they served was very bland (Soviet Union style). -And the room price was super expensive for what they were offering. When I went to talk to the management about it, they were caring and apologetic at first. But then an old lady came in and talked to the manager in Georgian, then left (I later found out that she was the owner). After that the manager was cold and careless with me and even told me "if you don't like it you can leave". And that's what I did. I left after spending 1 night out of 4. The resort has a lot of potential to be a wonderful holiday destination, but with this management and the way they're running things, it's just heartbreaking. I will go to Ureki again because I fell in love with its sandy beach, but never again in Kolkhida."

"A new small hotel, located near the sea, in 5-7 minutes walk. The rooms are modern, the staff is very polite, always ready to help. There is a cafe at the hotel. In general we liked it very much. We will consider this hotel for accommodation next time."

"Hotel is clean, rooms with balconies, breakfast is included. To the beach 2-3 minutes. Nearby is a large number of restaurants and shops. Very cheerful, caring hosts, help with all the questions, resepschen works 24 hours a day. The hotel can leave things free of charge. The hotel can also arrange a transfer to Batumi and Kutaisi airports, it is cheaper than calling a taxi."

"Good day! Hotel exceeded all expectations! Excellent location(to the sea 3 min), clean rooms and all territory, beautiful swimming pool, excellent breakfast and incredible attitude to every guest! World-you are the best! We arrived early in the morning, we were not left just waiting, but brought coffee with delicious food and settled as soon as the rooms were cleaned. Thank you very much for that. All our wishes, preferences were taken into account immediately. For being taken to the station, separate thank you. I have never felt so welcome guest, so much attention and participation!!! I wish you only prosperity! Beautiful guests and luck in everything!"
