"I lived here in 1983 when it was built, so it was nice to go back and stay a few days. This place is comfortable but basic. There's no air-conditioning for example. Twin beds and the individual quilts were too small. They also also had a synthetoc filling so at night it was very hot. The breakfast was perfectly fine. The coffee was great. The staff were professional and largely friendly. I would stay again but maybe in a cooler part of the year."

"Dreadful "mood lighting", so you can;t see a thing. Our room was on the ground floor facing the street. You can;t leave the curtains oepn, or open the windows as someone could easily get in. Very stuffy as no fans. It would be abysmal in summer as no fans. We were told breakfast at 6.30. Nope. Mistake 7.30. Reception stuff weren't good at interacting. One was on her mob, the other outside having a cigarette. No interactin whatsoever. Rooms are lge. Hot water is 1 euro!"

"Excellent location, however the proximity to the church bells combined with blinds that let the summer dawn light in make it a bit of a challenge to sleep in during your vacation. Also, this apartment is not for you if you're taller than 170cm or 5'7". Would have appreciated more than one towel and pillow per person. Otherwise, great stay."
