"I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Vilamoura with my family, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing for a five-star hotel. While the location is superb, with direct beach access, and the room cleanliness is impeccable, the service falls severely short in terms of hospitality. With the exception of the front desk team, who were extremely friendly, the rest of the staff seemed to have 'no' as their standard answer. At breakfast, the atmosphere became stressful 15 minutes before 10:30 AM, with staff rushing to clear everything. Immediately after, at the bar, we tried to order something light to go with our coffee, and the inflexibility was absolute – everything was difficult or unavailable. This lack of enthusiasm extends to leisure facilities: in the spa, despite closing at 7 PM, at 6:50 PM, they were already cleaning, creating an environment where you felt rushed out. Furthermore, paying €5 per hour for completely damaged ping-pong paddles is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. It's crucial for the teams to be trained to understand the concept of customer service, as the hotel's structure is great, but the current service completely undervalues the brand."

"Only stayed here for about 5 hours as we had to leave our accommodation at 10 and flight at 21:00, so we decided to use the day pass At browns so as not to spend hours in cafes and bars before leaving . So glad we did .. we visited the resort days before to take a look and found the staff very helpful . The resort filled our every needs and more . We were able to leave our cases in a secure location , use the pool area and play ground for kids . Also available are indoor pool and sauna and a great bar which serves nice food again with friendly staff .. we were able to shower and prepare for our journey home fresh rather than being tired and the day drag on for hours .. If you have a similar situation where you have to check out of a private villa early and your flight is not till late I would highly recommend this resort . The icing on the cake was where the girl from reception carried my suit case up some stairs to help, against my instruction .. Although I haven’t stayed for a full holiday here, on the basis of my day here I would ."

"Good value , situated at the back of the town minibus provided to Marina and Falesia beach 3 times a day great bonus. The hotel was spotless and the accommodation was very spacious if a little dated. The hotel kindly booked us into a room with no steps near the pool as requested. The pool was large and a fair temperature , who wants a hot pool when it's hot outside? The grass and gardens did mean there were a lot of flies which meant we preferred to go to the beach each day, not the hotels fault and maybe it was the time of year but it really bothered us. I did not see on any reviews mention of sun bed cushions which was a real bonus and so comfy we would have stayed by the pool more if there had been no flies. The restaurant didn't have a huge choice but we ate there a few times and the food was lovely and well priced. The staff at the hotel were lovely and we would stay again ."

"I booked a twin room for two adults and one child. I read on the hotel's official website that children under 12 years old can use existing beds for free, so I booked the room. After booking, I received a message from Ctrip that each child would have to pay an additional 70 euros. Since the hotel showed that the order could not be cancelled, I still checked in. As a result, I was charged 260 euros on the spot and was forced to upgrade to a room that was not bigger. The sofa was changed into a bed. The hardware facilities were old and you could only stand in the bathtub to take a bath. It was a very old room for more than 4,000 a night. You couldn't use towels in the swimming pool and had to pay for towels separately. The breakfast was very unfriendly to Asians. It was a pure European breakfast. At the same time, the breakfast chairs were wet because it rained the day before, which made it very cold. It is recommended that all Asian people do not check in. ps, because of the forced room upgrade, I contacted Ctrip for communication. Ctrip's attitude was positive and finally gave me an additional 10 euros."

"The hotel area is incredible, with lots of trees and nature. Tranquility. The pools are good, although the outdoor flooring is becoming a bit worn. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner are of good quality. The rooms are simple, functional but a bit old. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment; the living room has air conditioning but the bedroom didn't, which I think would have made a difference. The soundproofing isn't very good from the outside. Each room has a terrace with a sun lounger and table. I recommend it!! Good value for money."
