You can not miss the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park! If you can swing it, stay a night down at the Volcano House lodge, overlooking the crater! The place is so awesome that you really cannot cover it in a day if you want to go for hikes in the park. On the way home you will want to stop at the waterfalls along the way. Or South Point. Or the black sand beaches. The views are spectacular the whole way!
