Potential additional Children upon approval.The main level of the house blends indoor and outdoor living with large disappearing glass doors and a connected large covered lanai. There is a large formal dining area for up to 12 guests that connects to the gourmet kitchen and the outdoor barbecue and additional outdoor dining area. There is high-speed Internet throughout the interior of the villa as well as outside areas and the villa is fully air-conditioned for your comfort. The outdoor area is a tropical paradise where you can spend the day sunbathing, cooling off in the swimming pool, lounging in the garden hammock under palm tree shade, enjoying some spa time in the hot tub, or a simple game night/movie night in the comfortable outside patio. Welcome to Dove Cottage. This is St. John's first eco-luxury vacation rental. I re-designed the house to maximize the views and comfort while ensuring harmony with the environment. Around every corner is an incredible view and a welcoming daybed or chaise to curl up on with a book or a friend. The north part of the house has a screen porch on the top floor- attached to the master bedroom- and overlooks the outdoor living room and pool area with views of the passing boats on the Sir Francis Drake channel and Tortola and Jost Van Dyke. The south side of the house also has a huge porch, as well as a garden with hammock, and views toward Coral Bay, the Caribbean sea and St. Croix. I have lived here on and off for the past few years and have had a blast enjoying the house with my friends and family, but now it is time to share this special place with others. At Dove Cottage you are just minutes from amazing beaches and the town of Coral Bay, yet totally private and secluded to have fun and relax on your holiday. Enjoy!Although we are happy to welcome groups of adults and have had many happy customers, the home is ideal for one couple or a couple with kids due to the attached bedrooms upstairs (NOT suited for 4 adults.) PEBBLE COVE is a spacious 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath, stone and masonry home located in a spectacular, natural setting with 370 feet of waterfront on East End overlooking the waters of Coral Bay. In the lead photo Pebble Cove is the house on the left on the point, adjacent to 3 miles of National Park. Stunning wraparound views of distant mountains and turquoise seas greet you as you enter the house. Pathways and terraces surround the house and wind through colorful flowering plants, wild orchids, and tropical landscaping.A stairway leads from the house to your own snorkeling beach. A second pocket pebble beach is accessible by swimming, a secret private hideaway perfect for honeymooners or lovers. Both beaches consist of pebbles over sand. Excellent snorkeling, swimming sunbathing in protected and calm waters. Follow turtles or schools of blue tang between the sea fans and over coral heads.Elk and brain coral, colorful queen angelfish, parrotfish, puffers, sergeant majors, and schools of other tropical fish provide a natural aquarium around the house. Another beach and more excellent snorkeling are a 5-minute walk away at Haulover Bay.Large screened sliding glass doors provide stunning 270-degree views of sparkling bays and green mountains and allow the constant tradewinds to keep the house cool. The house is fully air-conditioned, including the three bedrooms.Relax in the living room, on the deck, or in the hammock and watch the birds soar, the fish jump, or the turtles surface in the brilliantly clear, 80 degree waters below you. Watch the wind play on the water, yachts sail by, and spectacular sunsets as you relax on the deck after a full day of snorkeling or exploring. The kitchen is a cook's dream with water views on three sides and a full pantry.The spacious master bedroom with a king bed and a daybed opens to its own deck for sunrise viewing and water views. Stairs off the deck lead to down the Kitchen/LR level, the lower BR and the beach. A spacious tiled 2 sink bathroom with shower joins the master bedroom.The second master bedroom with a king has a private entrance, a private deck with sunset and water views overlooking Haulover Bay, the National Park land, and the bay. It has a large 2 sink bathroom with an enclosed garden shower.The third bedroom and fresh air bath with a shower is down one flight of stairs from the main floor, with a large deck/sitting area, also with water views. The bed can be prepared as two twins or a king. All three bedrooms afford excellent visual and sound privacy from the others.
