"Wow! I’d read this was a hidden gem and indeed it is! Stayed for 5 nights at this stunning hotel! First time in Croatia and my friend and I were lucky to reserve the 2 bedroom apartment with balcony and sea view and wow it was stunning! Has everything you need. We stayed bed and breakfast - the breakfast was amazing! The location is perfect with a short 5/10 min walk down to the marina where there are plenty of restaurants and some lovely bars. We ate at Harry’s a few times who served the best chicken caesar salad! Lungo Mare cocktail bar also served the best cocktails. We took a boat trip to Krka waterfalls which was amazing! Cost us 70 euros each and that included entrance into the waterfalls and lunch on the boat. We also took the bus to Zadar and experienced the sea organ by sunset - stunning. The bus cost approximately 20 euros return. All in all a fabulous 5 night break and would highly recommend this hotel and location. Special thanks to the guy (unfortunately did not get his name) who worked behind the bar as he was so lovely and professional - a credit to the hotel."

"A modern, clean hotel with spacious rooms. (No kettle just coffee machine) Sea views are exceptional but some guests may be put off with music from nearby beach bars etc every day approx 17.00- midnight which is clearly audible from room balcony. A number of different swimming pools (no lifeguards) including the infamous infinity pool on the 9th floor. This is not heated (certainly didn’t feel it!) despite what hotel website states. Views across Vodice were amazing though. Large pebble beach within 2min walk of hotel but there is no sand at all , completely pebbled. Sun loungers are extra charge €12 each. Reception area staff really helpful, sadly this wasn’t the case for those working in dining area. Olympia Sky and its adjoining hotel Olympia share facilities and most days breakfast was chaotic with a wait for tables, shortage of food even by 09.15 and far too few staff to clear tables. I was shocked that no drinks at all were included at dinner time and even water needed to be paid for. Despite paying for evening meals we actually chose to eat out instead. A number of places to eat within 2min walk of hotel but would advise a slightly longer walk 10/15mins into Vodice for greater choice and nicer environment away from hustle and bustle of arcades/shops/cafes outside hotel. Think carefully should you be dependent on a lift or cannot manage stairs easily. Hotel only has two (despite its size) and often a wait for these to move between floors. Not my usual experience of a 4* hotel accepting I’ve not stayed in Croatia before."

"Lovely family run hotel. Our recent trip to beautiful Croatia was made even more special due to the lovely staff and the owner. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely, plenty of choice at breakfast with lovely coffee and we had mainly the fish in the evening., all served with soup, salad and a desert. The hotel was spotless and clean and the gardens are well looked after. It was too cold to swim in the pool but was lovely to sit in the sun, especially as the sun loungers had sun shades so we could read our books. Our room had everything you need with a great sea view. Lovely comfortable bed, Samsung TV which I was able to pair with my phone so I could watch a film before bed. Vodice is lovely with great beaches and beautiful walks. We also easily visited other towns and cities from the nearby bus station. Great hotel and our experience was 5 star."

"I recommend you to check out this Hotel! I like the pool area, restaurant... Beach and center in close area, but still in calming place! Love it! Rooms are nice, very clean. Staff is friendly! Pool is clean and not very crowded! I will come back for sure!! "

Villas Arausana & Antonina

"Do not believe the negative reviews below, I have no idea where they were staying but it wasn’t where we were. We stayed here for two weeks and couldn’t fault the hotel, the service or the staff. We were in Villa Aranusa and had a sea view although had only booked for a side view. Our room was serviced every day by lovely smiling staff and also give clean towels daily even though we hadn’t requested them. The breakfast buffet was superb, it had absolutely everything you wanted or needed and was quickly replenished if necessary. Whilst we didn’t sit by the pool, there were plenty of Sun beds, and, yes, occasionally, you had to put a towel on one but most definitely not at 6.30 am, there were plenty at 10am and even when we went out and came back later in the afternoon. The bar staff were so lovely and friendly and catered for our needs, soon getting to know our favourite tipple! Vodice is a lovely small town with plenty of delicious restaurants. Would thoroughly recommend staying here and we will be back!"

"The initial start of the holiday was a bit shaky as the food was cold, we paid for an all-inclusive holiday, however the holiday was not all inclusive as the Hotel Punto does not offer all-inclusive, Although Thomas Cook sold it as all-inclusive . The offer included food in the restaurant but however any drinks must be in the restaurant and only during meal time. Anything outside of dinner times are payable, even the tea. I was charged €6 for three tea bags to make tea in our room . The room initially did not have a kettle. I had to ask for a kettle to be arranged . The fridge in the room wasn't working as well as the light in the room. There were several concerns about the staff not being very welcoming. On day 5 of our 7 day holiday I was chased out of the restaurant told that I'm not allowed to fill up a water bottle. After I've spoken to the director of the hotel she apologised for the poor standard and things changed. The staff was more welcoming and helpful. We initially were told that there is no access to the spa for disabled people. However, after speaking to the physiotherapist in the spa, they make the staff entrance available which allowed disabled people access to the spa. Initially I would not have recommended this hotel but they have redeemed themselves and I can now say that they listened to our concerns and made it better."
