DoubleTree by Hilton Wuhu
9.4 (8,286 reviews)

DoubleTree by Hilton Wuhu ★★★★★

📍 No. 15 Changjiang Middle Road, Jinghu District, Wuhu

"Had a fantastic trip! The hotel is right by the river, and I booked a king-size room with a river view. It was incredibly comfortable to relax at night with the AC on and watch the river outside my window. The hotel's food was incredibly authentic; the wontons for breakfast were outstanding—highly recommend them! For just over 300, staying in a Hilton river-view room was truly worth it!"

"I reached for my breakfast burger and saw an ant crawl into the one on the right! It scared me so much I stopped eating any snacks. I went to make a bowl of wontons, and the lady at the noodle stall kept a cold face the whole time. When she finished, she pushed the bowl aside and said, "Here you go." The room was sparsely furnished: a few steel pipes suspended two veneered multi-layer boards. The floor creaked when I stepped on it. A guest was using the gym with their child next door, and a young male administrator was outside, angrily shouting, "Who let the kids in? Kids can't go in!" The staff at this hotel are administrators, not waiters."

DoubleTree by Hilton Wuhu ★★★★★
"Whenever I visit Wuhu, I always stay at this hotel in Xinshikou. It's located at the foot of Baota (Pagoda) Root, by the Yangtze River, near the Catholic Church, and on the original site of the rice market. Even though it's been open for a few years, it's still pretty good overall!"

"The hotel facilities are very good, the location is also very good, the room settings are very good, and the river view outside the window is unobstructed. The service of Xiaomei in the executive lounge is very considerate, and she introduced the characteristics of the hotel and the experience of visiting the ancient town in detail. Compared with the meals in the lounge, there is nothing special, and it barely provides a quiet area for rest. There are not enough service staff in the breakfast area, the service in the lobby is lacking, and there is no porter to help with luggage."

Baijin Hanjue Hotel ★★★★
"1. The advantage is that the transportation is convenient. There is a subway station right outside the door, and it is also convenient to take a taxi. The hotel environment is good, the decoration is relatively new, and there is a slight decoration smell, which is within the acceptable range. 2. It is not recommended to have breakfast in the hotel. There are only simple meals such as buns and porridge. If you go too late, the variety is not complete. Adults are 58, and children are 25. If you have this money, you can go to a nearby small shop to eat, which is much richer. 3. The most unsatisfactory thing is that the room is too cold. The central air conditioner only has cold air, not warm air. There is also a centralized air supply system that blows cold air 24 hours a day. It can only be turned off for the entire floor. Individual rooms cannot be controlled and it is freezing at night. Overall, I am quite satisfied."

Wuhu Golden Eagle International Hotel ★★★★★
"This is the first time in my life I've given a bad hotel review; I simply couldn't tolerate it anymore—the experience was outrageously bad! Before booking, although I saw many reviews mentioning unpleasant odors in the rooms, I was still understanding of a new hotel and thought I could tolerate it for the unbeatable river view. However, reality far exceeded my expectations. Even after more than a month of opening, the pungent smell was still there. Not only was the room smelly, but the smell in the hallways was so strong it stung my eyes. For a hotel of this level, such a strong odor after being open for so long is truly unacceptable. However, I was somewhat prepared for this, so I could barely tolerate it. And then came the even more outrageous problem! A gym and swimming pool are basically standard amenities for hotels of this level, and the hotel booking page did indeed advertise a pool, gym, and towel lounge. After checking in, I discovered that the hotel doesn't have its own gym! The so-called facilities are shared with a gym next door. Guests who want to swim or work out have to go to the gym's front desk to register their name and room number, and even leave their hotel room card there before they can swim or exercise! Putting aside the fact that the gym and swimming pool were overcrowded and offered no enjoyment, being required to hand over room keys and personal check-in information to a completely unrelated external organization is an absurd practice I've never experienced before. The hotel completely disregards guest privacy and safety! Spending thousands of dollars on a hotel room only to receive this kind of service, I lost all interest in appreciating the river view I was looking forward to. A terrible experience from start to finish, extremely disappointing, and I would never recommend it."

Mehood Ritz Hotel (Wuhu Pedestrian Street Jinghu Park) ★★★★
"Advantages: The pick-up service is good, and you have to arrive a day in advance. A young lady at the front desk took the initiative to give slippers to the children. This is the reason why I didn't give it one star. Here are the disadvantages. When checking in, the front desk didn't know to give breakfast coupons. I asked for a quiet room at the time, but the construction site started at 7 o'clock the next day. It was a room with half-open windows, and you couldn't see the sky. The cleaning aunt was very unprofessional. We stayed for two days, and she knocked on the door to clean at around 8 o'clock the next day. She didn't know to give mineral water, toothbrushes, slippers and other daily necessities. In the end, I said that the cleaning was too unclean, so I just patted the towels and teacups. I can't believe it was newly opened in 2025."

"First of all, I would like to thank the lady at the front desk for the breakfast voucher. I asked her to give a good review if it was convenient. However, the network in the room was very bad. The TV screen would freeze every few seconds. Everything else was satisfactory. It has not been properly resolved until the time of my review. According to the front desk, the room is equipped with wifi, and the speed should not be bad."
