Xining Chengxi District Hotels

The hotel is located in an area between Xiaguan Night Market, Wanda Plaza Commercial District in Haihu New Area, and the ******* Culture Museum. It's not too far from anywhere, nor is it particularly close to anything. It's relatively close to the Qinghai Provincial Museum, about 1 kilometer away, a 20-minute walk. The hotel has its own parking lot, but there's no guarantee of a spot at all times; it seems to be first-come, first-served. I didn't see any empty municipal parking spaces outside, and even if there were, they were parked directly on the sidewalk, not in an official parking area. The hotel facilities are a bit old. The power outlets are loose and frequently have poor contact. The hairdryer is noisy but doesn't have much power. The bedding had an odd smell, and the duvet was very thick, making it too hot to sleep with but too cold without. The air conditioning was good, with effective cooling. The cleanliness was acceptable. The staff were able to address guests' requests, and the service quality was fine. However, none of the service staff smiled, not a single one. This might be due to their simple and unpretentious nature, so I didn't find it offensive.

Pro points - The beds are soft and comfy, good showers with very hot water. Rooms were clean. The buses from outside connect well to the Muslim area of the city and the restaurants nearby are nice. Staff are friendly. Bad points - We booked a non smoking room, all the rooms available were infact non smoking and yet the whole place absolutely stank of cigarettes. We moved rooms because after dinner we came back to a haze of smoke in the room, everyone must be smoking. I live in China, I realise this isn't uncommon, but in that case don't advertise non smoking rooms.

I stayed on a high floor in a renovated room, which had a modern and elegant design. The sheets, duvet covers, and pillows all felt luxurious. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the bathroom was spotless. The toiletries provided were from Herborist. The biggest surprise was the concierge service for luggage both at check-in and check-out. The only drawback was that in the evenings, many guests were quite drunk, which made using the elevators uncomfortable. The quality of other guests was a bit hard to comment on. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, and it's a great choice for those who appreciate a refined lifestyle.

On my road trip through Qinghai and Gansu, this hotel exceeded my expectations! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, allowing me to get a great rest after a long day of driving. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, parking was convenient, and the amenities were comprehensive. The location is also very convenient, saving time and effort when getting around. The attention to detail was impressive, it offered great value for money, and they even had late-night snacks! It's a perfect stop for a long road trip. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended!

It's been a long time since I've stayed at such a satisfying hotel. The front desk girl was so warm, and the gentleman in the catering department was also very friendly. The hotel has a full range of dining, laundry, and a gym, plus afternoon tea and late-night congee... The location is central, making it convenient to go anywhere and easy to hail a taxi. A top choice for families, highly recommend for a thousand years~ (It would be even better if the woman in the restaurant had a better attitude... She was too busy taking photos and didn't replenish empty dishes, even after being called multiple times. Her attitude was also very cold, which was a minus point) A fly in the ointment.

5-star recommendation! I stayed at the Vienna Hotel Xi'an Haihu Wanda Plaza, and the location is absolutely fantastic. Wanda Plaza is right downstairs, so dining, shopping, and entertainment are all conveniently accessible. Getting around was incredibly easy. The front desk staff processed my check-in quickly and were warm and polite. The room was spotless, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, the mattress was just right—neither too soft nor too hard—and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The facilities were comprehensive, offering excellent value for money. This is definitely my top choice for visiting Xi'an; I'll be staying here again next time!

The front desk service is warm and polite, the check-in is efficient, and the demand response is timely. The public area is elegant and the health details are in place. Very good value for money, will choose here next time you travel, highly recommended!

房間裏面很大，不像有的酒店連行李箱都展不開，這個你進去就是很大的。酒店樓下就是公交車站，交通出行非常方便，而且線路很多，基本上都囊括了，但是早高峯會比較堵，不着急的話，可以規避一下。但是酒店十二點就要退房，時間比較趕，如果可以延遲到一點或者兩點就更好了。但是如果是第一次來西寧或者身體不是很好，或者自己不確定會不會高反的朋友，還是不推薦住這裏，樓層太高，進去還是會不舒服。

The location is great, right across from Wanda Plaza, making shopping, leisure, and dining super convenient. There's plenty of parking both above ground and underground. The hotel facilities are decent; not new, but not run-down either. Most hotels in Xining don't have air conditioning. Breakfast selection is good – not super extensive, but all the essentials are there. The staff are all very enthusiastic and respond quickly. Given it's peak season, the price is what it is. Overall, I'm satisfied; you can't have everything.
