"The hotel is relatively new, and the rooms are very spacious. It's also conveniently located for exploring the ancient city, and they offer parking and charging stations. The hotel is situated on the edge of the ancient city, close to the mountains, and we visited during a season with a lot of insects. Apparently, it's a rule in the ancient city that guesthouses aren't allowed to provide breakfast. We checked out early and couldn't find anywhere to eat breakfast. Overall, the hotel is good, but I didn't feel it offered great value for money."

"What era are we living in? Still charging deposits? I don't understand this. This is the first time I've encountered this hotel. I was worried they might steal something, but it's ridiculous. The refund process was so slow; it only came back this afternoon. The emergency exit was pitch black at night; leaving the door open would be terrifying. The elevator is set up for room card only, but you don't have an emergency exit, do you? This hotel's security needs improvement, and the staff's attitude is just so-so. It's a newly opened hotel, and I think it's in the same building as the Panhua Hotel. At least it shouldn't be too bad, right? It's not cheap, even at several hundred yuan a room during New Year's Day. The necessary service and attitude should be provided. You can't just say you're too busy because you're busy. Is this the customer's problem? Are we supposed to pay for it? Since the front desk and rooms are far apart, you should have more staff, instead of making people wait while you do your work. Ultimately, pointing out problems is meant to provide an opportunity for improvement. The complimentary breakfast is also problematic. I've stayed in so many hotels; Marriott and Sheraton have such good quality, and they even offer it in good reviews. The program at Xinzhou Ancient City was quite good, and the hygiene and environment of the hotels were also very good. However, the management and service need significant improvement. It's newly opened, so there are many opportunities."

"While the hotel's name is a bit odd, it's a great value. The room was cozy, clean, and fully equipped with smart technology. The only complaint was a strange, sewage-like odor upon entering. We booked two rooms, and the other was fine, so I suggest they check room 17 on the 5th floor (I forgot whether it was 517 or 817). The breakfast was very rich, featuring local snacks and a wide variety of side dishes from the noodle stall. The hotel is very close to Xinzhou Old Restaurant, within a 10-minute walk, where you can try the local cuisine, which is excellent and affordable."

"Booking this hotel was a delightful surprise. While the facade isn't grand, the interior layout is exquisite. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the service is attentive and detailed. Breakfast is abundant, and despite being on a main street, it wasn't noisy. It's only about 200 meters from the North Gate of Xinzhou Ancient City, which is very convenient. It was lovely to stroll to the snack street for some food and drinks, then walk from the South Gate back to the North Gate. Plus, there's parking and EV charging stations. Overall, it exceeded my expectations."

"The hotel is newly opened. When I booked it on the platform, the facilities seemed quite modern, with free parking, complimentary fruit upon check-in, and clean rooms with nice bedding. However, after checking in, I encountered a series of problems, which I'd like to complain about: 1. Arriving at the hotel around 5 PM, I had to wait a long time in the lobby to check in. 2. The hotel was advertised as having underfloor heating throughout. However, after checking in, the underfloor heating in the room wasn't working properly, and the room remained cold for a long time. The air conditioner would only blow cold air after a short while. I called the front desk several times that evening to report the problem, but received no timely response. I had to go downstairs to find the front desk staff and ask them to come to the room to adjust the air conditioning and underfloor heating. After some time, a staff member came to check and adjust the room, but the problem persisted. This back-and-forth went on for a long time. My whole family wanted to take a hot shower before bed after a long day to relax, but the room temperature wasn't warm enough, so we didn't dare shower. It was past 11 pm, and we were too tired and sleepy to continue the ordeal. 😪 We had to use the electric heater provided by the hotel to supplement the heating in the room. 3. In Xinzhou, where the night temperature was -14 degrees Celsius, the 325 yuan room fee only resulted in a hotel with inadequate underfloor heating and an electric heater as a supplement – ​​this was the first time I'd encountered such a situation. 4. A 200 yuan deposit was required upon check-in, which wasn't mentioned when booking through the platform; it was a policy imposed by the hotel itself. In conclusion, I had a poor and unsatisfactory hotel experience during my trip to Xinzhou, which negatively impacted my enjoyment of the trip."
