I booked a three-day, two-night stay at the Heart-Calming Villa during a promotion. The room wasn't huge, but it had its own private courtyard, was very quiet, and had a unique charm. The large ducks and peacocks roamed freely around the hotel, and I was surprised to see no droppings on the paths – the cleaning staff must work incredibly hard! I tried the Master Spa, and afterwards, I felt completely relaxed. The 1588 price was definitely worth it; I highly recommend everyone experience the Banyan Tree signature spa. Our personal butler, Vicky, was super responsive, answered all our questions, and even helped us arrange a late check-out and a discount for mountain climbing, which was very thoughtful. Although the Banyan Tree is about a 30-minute drive from the main scenic area, if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, the facilities and services here are definitely superior to many new trendy hotels.

Stayed for three days and two nights! If you encounter a problem, find the boss! Basically, the problem can be solved for you! And the boss is very enthusiastic and very nice! Must come to this store! Come to Yangshuo must choose this one! Don't believe what the driver of the Didi car said is very remote! My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a week. At first, we were worried we'd chosen the wrong location, as it's a 15-minute drive from the main city of Yangshuo. But later, we realized it was even better: - a beautiful view from the window; in the morning, opening the windows, we couldn't stop admiring the views. - the mountains are even more beautiful, and you can easily walk to them. - you can rent a motorbike, making it easy to explore the nearby sights. - excellent service; in the evening, after exploring, we returned to a perfectly clean and updated room. - attentive and friendly staff, who treated us to fruit, candy, drinks, and even cane sugar one day. They even let us ride a moped for a couple of days completely free of charge. They helped us call a taxi to the train station in advance (DIDI wasn't working). Overall, they were very responsive and empathetic. - there are small places to grab a bite nearby, as well as shops and our favorite, Mixue. If you're looking for more European food, you'll need to go to Yangshuo or order delivery. Overall, compared to neighboring cities, this place is quieter and more peaceful; it lacks the hustle and bustle and chaos.

The Li River and mountains were right outside our window – truly a 'window overlooking a thousand years of snow on the Western Hills' kind of vibe (even though it's summer, haha). Drinking tea and enjoying the scenery on the balcony morning and evening was so relaxing, I didn't want to leave. ✅ Excellent Chinese aesthetic: The hotel's design is very charming, with its grey bricks and black tiles. Every casual photo turns out beautifully. Don't miss it if you love traditional Chinese photography. ✅ Perfect for relaxation: You absolutely must visit the 'Sky Mirror' and the pool on the top floor. The views are expansive, and a swim feels like it washes away all the stress of work. Overall, this is a hotel that offers both beauty and comfort. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and unwind in Yangshuo! 💯

The hotel's overall decor is very upscale and elegant, clean and bright. The bedding in the room is soft, comfortable, and skin-friendly. In the afternoon, you can sit outside your room or in the tea room and enjoy some tea. Downstairs, there's also a Peninsula Cafe by the river, which is quite nice. For breakfast, they serve freshly made Guilin-style rice noodles, a local specialty, along with some refreshing side dishes. The butler service is always available and the staff are very attentive. This hotel we booked is perfect for a relaxing getaway.

We had a really enjoyable stay for 3 nights at the Yangshuo Boyue River View Hotel. The room was super - clean, well equipped and with a super view of the Lijiang River. All the staff are really helpful and go out of their way to provide help and service. The staff speak Chinese only, but it’s reasonably convenient to type English into the hotel WeChat account and translate their Chinese responses back into English. The responses are always quick. The food is local Chinese style only and not western…which was fine for us. Location is not downtown in Yangshuo but the complimentary shuttle was very convenient.

If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of tourist attractions and enjoy a relaxed, slow-paced lifestyle, consider staying here. It's relatively secluded and quiet, yet still offers stunning views of the Li River. The guesthouse is right on the riverbank, perfect for swimming, playing in the water, and fishing. I recommend staying in a river-view room, where you can enjoy tea while watching the boats and bamboo rafts pass by. The owner and her family are incredibly hospitable. Advance booking can arrange meals for the day. Electric scooters are also available for easy exploration, and there's a rooftop drying area. The only downside is the small bathroom and the presence of many insects.

The room was clean and tidy, the environment was very good, the floor-to-ceiling windows were large, and the children liked it very much. The boss and his family are very enthusiastic, and they also cook in the kitchen. Convenient transportation, five-star praise.

Hotel praise I came to Yangshuo for three days and drew the most perfect end to my journey at this homestay. The boss is very kind, treats people really, and also provides paddle boards for free to play. The river in front of the door is clean and can swim in the river. You can see a tourist bamboo raft slowly passing by in front of you in the water. The atmosphere is full, as if you are as comfortable as a local. The boss will also sincerely recommend local authentic and delicious shops to avoid many net red pits. I sincerely hope that this place will not be too popular, keep this rare comfort, I will definitely come again if I have the opportunity in the future, hereby record.
