Forest Feels, Chill Trails, and Surprise Views

#summervacay Checked out Cheonju Mountain on a random day off, and honestly? Super underrated. The trail starts out with this peaceful forest vibe, tall trees, birds chirping, and barely any people around. It’s one of those hikes where you can actually hear yourself think (or blast your playlist without judging looks). The incline’s pretty chill most of the way, with a few steeper parts that get your heart going but nothing too wild. Along the way, there are these little rest spots where you can just sit and vibe with nature. Then, out of nowhere, you hit the summit and get this wide-open view of the surrounding countryside. Not the tallest mountain ever, but the view hits different. There was a tiny pavilion at the top where I just sat for like 30 minutes eating snacks and doing nothing. 10/10 peaceful. If you’re into quiet hikes with pretty scenery and no stress, Cheonju Mountain’s a solid pick. Definitely going back when I need a reset.
