What really stands out is the convenience of having affordable public parking lots nearby, which takes the stress out of finding a spot. (Ask me where?) Plus, being within walking distance to so many attractions is a huge bonus. It’s the perfect place for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay!

Very clean, large rooms. Service was prompt and great. Around 10min taxi to Qilou old street, 2-3km away. Lots of supper spots and convenience stores (24hours) below the hotel too.

The hotel is in a great location, not far from the Qilou Old Street and the Bell Tower, and above the Friendship Square, which is convenient for eating. The hotel is generally good, but there is no window. When you enter the room, you can smell a very unpleasant ”perfume”. Also, there is no glass door to separate the shower from the toilet, which is very uncomfortable.

I was on a business trip in Sanya. I felt that the first hotel I stayed in was not clean enough. Then I saw this one online and the price was right, so I came here. The hotel has complete facilities and there is a treadmill on the 10th floor for running in the morning. It can be said that this hotel is probably the cleanest and most cost-effective place I have stayed in during this period! The bedding is very comfortable and the height of the pillow is just right for me!

The hotel is really nice. They also give away mineral water when you check in. The room is spacious and bright, with complete facilities and smart whole house. The breakfast is rich and varied, and super delicious. The front desk lady has a very good attitude and all the hygiene details are in place. The mattress is very soft and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is strong and the water comes out quickly. It's so refreshing~

This is really a very nice hotel, unexpected in a relatively small town. The room looks new and is very comfortable. I especially liked the cosy seating area near the window. Staff was exceptionally friendly as well. The immediate surroundings of the hotel are not very interesting, but the location is very convenient nonetheless: walking distance (20-30 minutes) to Qilou Old Street, only 2 bus stops away from the train station and also close to local buses to tourist areas such as Tonggu Ridge (though I've read not all sites there are open to foreigners, I mainly wanted to see Gusong fishing village and that's no problem) and Gaolong Bay. The only area of improvement is that this hotel has a tendency to keep calling customers before their stay (3 times I got an SMS in Chinese saying something like ”Meilin Hotel is going to call you, please pick up”, followed by a call from an unknown number). I can communicate in simple Chinese but am not great at doing phone calls in Chinese and in any case I hate this kind of insistent phone calls. I didn't pick up but after the second call checked with Trip.com what was wrong, expecting some major problem. It turned out the hotel just wanted to confirm a small change I had made to my booking, which had already been confirmed in the app anyway... While this attitude is perhaps meant as service, I perceived it as annoying and superfluous and I would strongly suggest the hotel stops harassing customers with phone calls unless there's a real emergency. Having said this, the staff on site in the hotel was exceptionally friendly and polite; this is one of the few hotels in China where staff members actually greeted me when I walked past reception, which was much appreciated! I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I ever visited Wenchang again.

Nice and clean hotel very close to the airport. I had to go to the airport at around 2 am and it was not easy to get a taxi. But the hotel staff helped me to get a car to the airport (and it was super fast!). I appreciate it a lot, thanks!

The 24-hour shuttle service to Meilan Airport or Meilan High-speed Railway Station is really convenient. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. I left early in the morning and packed a hot breakfast. When I left, someone helped me with my luggage. Everyone was very friendly, especially when I accidentally walked into a free activity nearby. The hotel's Xiao Kaikai even took us there. The porridge in the evening was also great. I will choose it again next time if I have the chance.

This is a really lovely hotel! If there's one place I stayed at during my trip which I would like to visit again, it's this one! At first, I ended up in Tianya Town by coincidence. I liked the village and the beach, thought it would be nice to stay there for a few nights later on, so checked if there was a nice-looking hotel available and booked this one. I didn't regret my choice! I love it that the rooms are bright, with a white colour scheme, and cosy. I was a bit worried that it might be noisy at night, but there are no loud bars directly near the hotel and there wasn't much noise from people in other rooms either! It probably helped that I had a corner room at the end of the corridor and facing the village (I found the seaview rooms too expensive and actually think the rooms with village view may be more quiet). The layout of the room was also great, with a small hallway area with bathroom near the door, which means that the bed is sheltered from potential noise in the corridors. The area surrounding the hotel was also perfect for me. Tianya Town has exactly the right mix for me of enough liveliness but without too much noise and partying (earlier on, I also stayed at Houhai which was lovely during the day but so noisy at night. I much prefer Tianya, although admittedly the eastern end of the beach seemed noisier, but that's far away from this hotel). The beach is also lovely: nice view, not too crowded, small cafés (serving coffee, fruit juice, beer, etc.) where you can sit on a beanbag on the beach. It was also a nice touch that the hotel offers a free photo shoot (that's usually not really my thing, but it is a nice way for a solo traveller to get a few photos of myself that aren't selfies). First 3 photos are free. They take more of course, which you can choose to buy for 30 RMB per photo, but it's all very relaxed without pressure to buy more. The room came with a spacious balcony. The only thing I found a pity is that there are no chairs to sit on the balcony (and no chairs in the room either), but I solved it by moving a small cabinet from the room to the balcony, which seemed solid enough to sit on. I definitely recommend this hotel and hope I have a chance to visit again next year.

It's my first time staying in a B&B. I feel really good. The room is clean and fresh. The guy at the front desk is really nice. If you have any questions, just send him a WeChat and he will solve it immediately. He is there 24 hours a day. In short, there is only one word: good. I give him a thumbs up. We went to Wuzhizhou Island in Sanya and booked this hotel nearby. We didn't book Houhai Village because we felt that we had high requirements for accommodation and were afraid that Houhai Village would stink. My girlfriend's partner found this one with a Chinese courtyard style. The overall design and style were pretty good. It was built in 24 years and was relatively new. The things inside were very complete, especially when taking a shower. It was really comfortable. It was already tiring to go to Wuzhizhou Island for a day, but it was quite healing to stay there. In my spare time, I accompany my children to Yalong Bay to play with sand and watch the sea (the best beach and the bluest water). When I am tired, I can also go home conveniently-Roy Ruoyi, this courtyard that seems to be blown by the sea breeze takes a nap, as if I am in a Greek island temple haha. Ruoyi-as if I am in a fairyland, I spend my days in comfort. This is my interpretation of it. Thanks to a friend from Hangzhou named Qinghui for the recommendation. It's great. The place was beautiful and very relax for stay. The location is Just a little far from the city but if you are planning to rest and have a nice time with your family ir friends, this place is perfect. I loved the view from the balcony, the pool and sky looks really pacefully. I recomend this place💯. Located not far from the intersection of Friendship Commercial Plaza, it is a quiet place in a busy city with convenient transportation. The room is clean and tidy, the facilities are also good, the front desk guy is very friendly, the price is cheap and good, the first impression is very good, but unfortunately it was the second day of continuous rain in Haikou, probably because the orthopedic doctor forgot to close the window after leaving, and it may be because it is not on the sunny side, the room felt a little cold, I regretfully did not extend my stay, and the hotel I stayed in later did not have this problem, maybe it was because the sealing and dehumidification were different. Booked this for my parents and other three elderly people, and the flight was the next morning. After leaving the hotel, I specifically asked them before commenting. I was very satisfied, especially the issue of sending the plane, which was their biggest concern. The waiter helped with the luggage and the service was very thoughtful.

Pros: Location is about 5mins walk from Haikou Railway station, spacious room, AI voice assistant. Cons: Room is damp, reception did mentioned during checkin and stated that it is due to room being at level 1 (for room type: discount double room). Secondly, there was slight leaking issue out of the shower room. Lastly, quite a number of mosquitoes, liquid electric repeller was provided. Also, the mirror light in my room was not working, since I was only staying one night and it doesn’t matter to me, I informed the staff and did not request for a change of room.

2024.2.14 Checked in the giant screen HD audio and video parent-child family room We went to Wenchang Space Exploration Base and Dongjiao Coconut Grove on the same day. We planned to go to Wennan Old Street and Confucius Temple the next day, so we chose to stay in a nearby hotel. Advantages: 1. The surrounding environment of the hotel is a bit messy. There are two clubs in front, and the parking lot is full of garbage, and the hygiene is worrying. The most unsatisfactory Jiji I have ever stayed at! The water in the basin is roaring like an old man who smokes all year round. The toilet flush sensor is too sensitive. The soundproofing of the room is very poor. The voices of other guests outside can be clearly heard, and the sound of dragging chairs upstairs can also be heard. I don’t know what material the quilt is made of. It makes a rustling sound. It makes a loud sound when I turn over at night. It is also very hot. If the air conditioner temperature is turned down, the sound from the air outlet will be super loud! The sensor light next to the bed was also too sensitive.
