As a frequent business traveler, I've stayed in countless hotels, and this one truly offers incredible value for money! The room layout is well-designed, with a spacious desk and strong Wi-Fi signal, perfectly meeting my work needs. The front desk staff were very efficient with both check-in and check-out, and they even provided a complimentary airport shuttle service, saving me a lot of time and effort. The hotel environment is quiet, ideal for both rest and work, and the surrounding transportation is convenient, making it easy to get to the business district. I highly recommend it to business travelers – a truly reliable hotel!

Our family of 12 (8 adults and 4 children) from Singapore recently stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate the New Year. As our first trip to China, we were blown away by the beauty of Sanya and the hospitality of this villa. Exceptional Service & Elderly Friendly The service was immaculate from start to finish. The complimentary railway station transfer was a lifesaver. The manager, who was also our driver, was incredibly punctual and went above and beyond to assist with our heavy luggage and my grandfather’s wheelchair. A special mention to our young housekeeper; despite the language barrier, his warmth and professionalism made our check-in effortless. The villa is perfect for multi-generational families—the ground-floor bedroom was ideal for my grandfather’s accessibility. Fun for the Whole Family The basement was the highlight of our stay. Our children spent hours learning pool, while the arcade machine in the bedroom brought back great memories for the adults. Outside, the back gate leads directly to the beach. We were right next to the Crowne Plaza, where they have buckets and shovels prepared for kids to share and a kiosk selling a great variety of popsicles to enjoy by the sea. Location & Travel Tips Haitang Bay is stunning. It features the world’s largest duty-free mall and arguably the best beaches on the island. For Muslim Travelers: Halal food is more concentrated in Sanya Bay and Yalong Bay, so plan your meals accordingly if staying in Haitang Bay. Guest Discounts: Be sure to ask the staff about yacht charters! We enjoyed a great discount on a private boat trip just by staying here. Weather: For those coming from Southeast Asia, the weather here is perfect in late December—dry, sunny, and very comfortable. Helpful Notes for Future Guests Room Layout: The top-floor bedroom has a unique open-bathroom design and no wardrobe. It’s a stylish arrangement, but good to know for privacy planning. Skin Sensitivity: A few of our family members have very sensitive skin (like eczema) and reacted to the swimming pool water. This is just a note for those with similar skin types, and perhaps something the villa can look into for the future. The Beach: The waves can be quite strong and the wind can be high, so do check the tides before heading out. Conclusion Watching the 1.1 New Year fireworks and drone displays away from the usual crowds was worth every cent. Sanya is a clean, safe, friendly, and beautiful city. This villa is a hidden gem that we would recommend to anyone. We could actually see ourselves living here!

The room was upgraded for free, the breakfast was healthy and delicious, and the facilities were good. The most important swimming pool is great. In the morning, I watched the hotel staff carefully clean the swimming pool for almost 2 hours, and then went in for a happy swim. The sea and sky were all the same color, lawns, woods, beaches, and sea water. Compared to the kind of seaside villas with unobstructed views , the progressive depth of different landscapes, and the sense of envelopment brought by the mountains and the sea, let people blend into the embrace of nature in a very safe state, and return to the most authentic state,,, through the woods When I saw the local people sitting or standing on the rocks on the seaside in the distance, Zheng Zhihua's sailors instantly came to my mind. The freedom and power shown in this picture will also become a kind of spiritual nourishment that will nourish the future. Life, this is one of the meanings of travel.

The B&B has a minimalist yet upscale design, and all the appliances are brand new. The room was spotlessly clean, and having a projector to watch shows comfortably in bed at night was a real plus. Just a few steps downstairs are the beach and the trendy Tianya Town, and there are plenty of seafood restaurants nearby. There's ample parking if you're driving, and the owner even shared helpful tips for local attractions, making our trip incredibly easy and stress-free.

A great room apartment, in a relatively good location, not overcrowded and served by some basic services. The facilities are a little limited, they advertise sea equipment available, but in reality we asked at the reception and nobody knew what we were talking about. Also, the pictures show a very nice pool facility just below the building, however it belongs to the Crowne Plaza, and access can be granted only if an additional ~40RMB are paid. Last, the room has mattresses which are very very very think, and it feels like sleeping on wood, and the kitchen is not usable and equipped with even a plate, fork or knife. On the other side, personnel is very kind (even if they speak no English at all) and they tried to help any time they could. Recommended for relatively low-budget traveling, otherwise look for something better, especially beds comfort!

I had a particularly satisfying stay this time! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. The lobby is clean and grand, and check-in was very quick. The staff were all gentle and polite. The room was spotless and well-laid out, with soft, skin-friendly bedding – I could literally feel the travel fatigue melt away as soon as I lay down. The bathroom facilities were in perfect condition, hot water supply was stable, and the toiletries were of good quality. The overall sound insulation was great; it was very quiet at night, leading to excellent sleep quality. It's suitable for both leisure travel and a short stopover. The value for money is top-notch, and it's definitely on my re-book list. I genuinely recommend it to everyone!

The location was good, and everything else was fine. The only inconvenience was having to wait for someone from the guesthouse to guide us to our room. However, a really disappointing experience was discovering the price discrepancy. I booked on May 12th for 240 a night, but on May 22nd, the day of check-in, I saw the price had dropped to 187 a night. That 60 difference felt like a total rip-off, and to make matters worse, I couldn't even cancel the booking!

De Vivre is to live, and you will never feel more alive here. Away from the hectic city life and mundane repetitive everyday work rush, you can wind down and relax here. The setting of the place is like a garden, it has a touch of rustic yet modern. If you are looking for a place to take photos then this is the place for you. Every inch of De Vivre will produce the best photo you can ever ask for. They even provide a free photography service for you if you need( first 3 photos is by the photographer). The most outstanding part about this place, more so than the scenary is the service provided by the staff there. They have a 24hours butler service that will try help you resolve any problems that you have to the best of their abilities. They are swift in responding and always always very friendly to make you feel at home. The owner who is there most of the time will chat with you and offer you fruits from the local villagers and really make you feel at ease and at home. Not to mention the 2 dogs there that are extremely friendly that will only try to ask you for belly rubs. They also offer a lot of activies in the hotel such as henna painting, hair braiding and other diy art events, with afternoon tea and even movie under the stars. If you are looking to go to the nearby beach, they have a chauffer to bring you there and back, you just have to communicate the timings with them. The whole stay is extremely pleasant. If you are worried about the cleanliness of the place, it is extremely clean. Thy would on the air conditional before you arrive so that your room would already be cool. The room always smells very pleasant. Last but not least, I just wanna say this is not a sponsored post hahaha. These are all heartfelt feelings and I would definitely find time to go back there. They definitely made me feel like home even away from home. This is the perfect getaway for anyone.

Stayed 1 night after reviews and photos , pool was clean again appreciate there not being an excess amount of chlorine used , we chose a pool side villa , this was nice to have access directly from the room , We know the area having spent about a week there so was convenient for our needs , Nice design of hotel at night when the lights are on, room was comfortable , bath tub not really suitable for an adult , but our daughter had a go , I just do not get why they would provide a 1 time throwaway material out of a plastic bag as a towel , when you have a villa next to the pool Was generally a quick stop before heading back towards the airport , so all in all for price ratio happy enough ,

This hotel is soooooo nice! Especially for the price you pay. The room is quite spacious and the bed+pillows are very comfortable. The sound-insulation is great, you can’t hear any sound from the street. The girls at reception are all very friendly and kind. They always tried to help me if I had any question. I want specially to thank Jing-Jing for being so polite and professional!☺️ Initially booked one night I stayed for 3 nights and didn’t want to leave. They even made a surprise for me in the last day- gave me the breakfast for free! 🆓 Finding this message in my room was so touching. If I ever come back to Wenchang I ll stay again in Meilin hotel! 🏨
