"This is an older hotel that's been renovated, and while the bedding was decent, everything else was really... quite old and a bit dirty. The shower pressure was extremely low, which made for an uncomfortable experience. The staff, who were all a bit older, were actually very good – warm, welcoming, and polite. As for the complimentary shows, popcorn, and such, you can pretty much ignore them. They were almost nonexistent, just a gimmick. Someone would just sit there, play some music, and lip-sync for a bit, which was quite funny. The best thing about it is the location. Xishi Market is right downstairs, which is very convenient. It's also not far from the famous '网红墙' (influencer wall), so we could easily stroll back after dinner."

"We stayed during renovations in the building which may have caused our first room to not have hot water. The staff reassigned us rooms quickly and the stay was pleasant. The hotel is just across a bus exchange from Jilin Railway Station, extremely convenient for traveling. The furnishings are retro but classy. The bathroom was a single space divided by a shower curtain separating the shower area from the toilet. Do note that there are smoking and non-smoking floors, make sure you specify which one you are on if it matters to you."

"Traveling from Shanghai to Changchun, I had a high-speed train to Changbai Mountain the next afternoon. I saw this hotel had good reviews, so I booked it for one night. It's a 15-minute high-speed train ride from the airport to Changchun Station. The hotel is very close to Changchun Station, with many restaurants nearby, and it's just two subway stops from the Puppet Manchukuo Palace. The room was clean, and the breakfast was good. They even upgraded my room type and allowed for a late check-out."
