3-Star Hotels in Xinjiang, China

This hotel is located right by the Grand Bazaar and has a charming, traditional feel. While the room decor and facilities are a bit dated, everything is spotless and well-maintained. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and proactively reached out to me before my arrival. The area downstairs is lively, with plenty of local restaurants, and its proximity to the Grand Bazaar makes getting around super convenient. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

Beautiful rooms, as per the picture. The amenities are quite complete. The washing machine is very convenient for longer stay, and you could hang your clothes at the balcony, plenty of space. For the service and amenities provided, this place is a good bargain. The owner are friendly and helpful. They helped us customised our four days three nights trip to Tashkurgan, ensuring us get the most out of our trip. And they even advised us on the preparation for the trio during our stay in Kashgar. We felt very welcomed staying at this place. The hostel is near to the carpet street, and it is best to call a taxi rather than walking to the old town, but it is pretty convenient and affordable to take taxi in China in general. There is a very nice grilled chicken and duck stall open at night near the hotel, in front of the Zhenyou Convenience Store, do try it if you have the chance!

The hotel's location is excellent, with metro and bus stations right nearby, and plenty of convenience stores and restaurants in the vicinity. The room facilities are complete, with a wet and dry separation design, and the shower and toilet are even separated, which is very convenient. I stayed for four days, and every day the staff cleaned the room and replenished the disposables. The front desk lady was also very friendly and provided enthusiastic service. I'm very satisfied!

The hotel has security checks upon entry. It's conveniently located near the Grand Bazaar, Erdaoqiao, and Consulate Lane, with Jinquan Shopping Mall right across the street. This makes it super easy for shopping, sightseeing, and enjoying local food.

The location is fantastic, right next to the station entrance, just a two-minute walk. The hotel service is good, and the room hygiene is excellent. The only minor issue is the dusty exterior windows, but I guess that's unavoidable in a desert/Gobi region. The self-service laundry uses LG commercial machines, which are great. I checked their dryer lint traps, and they were all clean, indicating someone regularly maintains them. That's quite rare and impressive. Highly recommend!

My friend and I (both from Ireland) stayed here for 4 days and had the best experience. The rooms were lovely and had everything we needed, and the location was perfect- right in the Old Town with lots of nice shops and cafes nearby and beautiful places to take photos. The best part was the staff- everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and they really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. It was really nice to meet lots of groups of travelers there from various countries, too. Would highly recommend!

My friend and I stayed at the Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel during a layover in Urumqi, and it was the perfect choice for a short stay near the airport. The location is extremely convenient - just ~15 minutes away from the terminal, which made our transit hassle-free. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a great advantage. Though the hotel could use minor renovations, the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. The room had all the essentials: slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, a comb, a hairdryer, an electric kettle, cups, and bottled water. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for us to plan our day trip and order a taxi. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of options. Even if you're not yet accustomed to Chinese cuisine, you can find simple choices like boiled eggs and mantou (steamed buns). For sightseeing, the city center and main attractions (such as the Xinjiang Museum, Red Hill Park, the Grand Bazaar, and the mosque) are about 30 minutes away by taxi. We managed to explore all of them in a day. Nearby, there are also local markets, convenience stores, and small cafés for snacks and essentials. Overall, if you need a comfortable, budget-friendly hotel close to Urumqi Airport with good service and decent amenities, Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel is a great option. Highly recommended for transit travelers!

The room was incredibly spacious and bright, with amazing natural light! The floor-to-ceiling windows offered beautiful mountain views, and on clear days, you could see the snow-capped mountains perfectly. It was excellent value for money, and all the facilities were brand new. The tables and chairs in the courtyard were also perfect for relaxing. Waking up in the morning and opening the window to a panoramic view of greenery and distant snow-capped mountains truly lifted my spirits. The owner was also very kind, and the service was thoughtful and meticulous. I'll definitely be back! Each room offers a unique view, and a mountain vista comes with every cup of tea. Here, open your window to the majestic snow mountains, and brew tea to the fragrant aroma. The guesthouse's environment is tranquil and elegant, with interior decor that is simple yet stylish. In your leisure, with tea as your companion, gaze at the distant snow mountains, and all worries melt away. This is truly the life one yearns for, highly recommended for friends seeking peace of mind!

This is one of those hotels one forgets the moment one checks out. Surprisingly that is not a bad thing. It means there was nothing bad about it. Everything was just fine. On the other hand there was nothing noteworthy special about it as well. Just a functional hotel, clean, good staff and well designed. The location is right next to Tialluju metro station with direct access to the grand bazaar (30 minutes,) and the Urumqi international airport(20 minutes). Just don't expect anything special. The housekeeping was very good as the room was cleaned very well.every day. The security officers were very friendly. Two things that needs to be addressed immediately. The room sizing on Ctrip is wrong. The executive room is advertised as 25-30 sqm but our executive room was 18 sqm. Also on Ctrip this hotel profiles itself as Wyndham Hotel.chain affiliated which it is not. False advertising like this should immediately be addresse

It's very close to Xiangfei Garden, and the hotel looks quite new, but the rooms are too small. I booked a double room, and I had to find a good angle to open my suitcase. The table in the room is against three walls, and there are no lights on the ceiling. If you want to read there, you need to bring your own light source, otherwise your eyes will hurt. The toilet seat is also misaligned, and things keep falling from the bathroom ceiling. The bathroom has a wet and dry separation, but the waterproof strip on the door is broken, so water still leaks out. The soundproofing is also not very good. With the door closed, I can clearly hear the sound of other rooms swiping their room cards. The most outrageous thing is that my room included an upgrade service, and I also noted that I wanted a quiet room when I booked. However, I was given a room right next to the elevator. It was so close that if the elevator door opened outwards like a normal door, it would completely block the room when it opened. I could clearly hear everyone entering and exiting the elevator. If this was an upgraded room, it's hard to imagine what the un-upgraded room was like.
