This hotel is located right by the Grand Bazaar and has a charming, traditional feel. While the room decor and facilities are a bit dated, everything is spotless and well-maintained. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and proactively reached out to me before my arrival. The area downstairs is lively, with plenty of local restaurants, and its proximity to the Grand Bazaar makes getting around super convenient. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.
Beautiful rooms, as per the picture.
The amenities are quite complete. The washing machine is very convenient for longer stay, and you could hang your clothes at the balcony, plenty of space. For the service and amenities provided, this place is a good bargain.
The owner are friendly and helpful. They helped us customised our four days three nights trip to Tashkurgan, ensuring us get the most out of our trip. And they even advised us on the preparation for the trio during our stay in Kashgar.
We felt very welcomed staying at this place.
The hostel is near to the carpet street, and it is best to call a taxi rather than walking to the old town, but it is pretty convenient and affordable to take taxi in China in general.
There is a very nice grilled chicken and duck stall open at night near the hotel, in front of the Zhenyou Convenience Store, do try it if you have the chance!

The hotel's location is excellent, with metro and bus stations right nearby, and plenty of convenience stores and restaurants in the vicinity. The room facilities are complete, with a wet and dry separation design, and the shower and toilet are even separated, which is very convenient. I stayed for four days, and every day the staff cleaned the room and replenished the disposables. The front desk lady was also very friendly and provided enthusiastic service. I'm very satisfied!

The hotel has security checks upon entry. It's conveniently located near the Grand Bazaar, Erdaoqiao, and Consulate Lane, with Jinquan Shopping Mall right across the street. This makes it super easy for shopping, sightseeing, and enjoying local food.
The location is fantastic, right next to the station entrance, just a two-minute walk. The hotel service is good, and the room hygiene is excellent. The only minor issue is the dusty exterior windows, but I guess that's unavoidable in a desert/Gobi region. The self-service laundry uses LG commercial machines, which are great. I checked their dryer lint traps, and they were all clean, indicating someone regularly maintains them. That's quite rare and impressive. Highly recommend!

My friend and I (both from Ireland) stayed here for 4 days and had the best experience. The rooms were lovely and had everything we needed, and the location was perfect- right in the Old Town with lots of nice shops and cafes nearby and beautiful places to take photos. The best part was the staff- everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and they really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. It was really nice to meet lots of groups of travelers there from various countries, too. Would highly recommend!
My friend and I stayed at the Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel during a layover in Urumqi, and it was the perfect choice for a short stay near the airport. The location is extremely convenient - just ~15 minutes away from the terminal, which made our transit hassle-free. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a great advantage.
Though the hotel could use minor renovations, the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. The room had all the essentials: slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, a comb, a hairdryer, an electric kettle, cups, and bottled water. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for us to plan our day trip and order a taxi.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of options. Even if you're not yet accustomed to Chinese cuisine, you can find simple choices like boiled eggs and mantou (steamed buns).
For sightseeing, the city center and main attractions (such as the Xinjiang Museum, Red Hill Park, the Grand Bazaar, and the mosque) are about 30 minutes away by taxi. We managed to explore all of them in a day. Nearby, there are also local markets, convenience stores, and small cafés for snacks and essentials.
Overall, if you need a comfortable, budget-friendly hotel close to Urumqi Airport with good service and decent amenities, Tianyuan Hangyou Hotel is a great option. Highly recommended for transit travelers!

The room was incredibly spacious and bright, with amazing natural light! The floor-to-ceiling windows offered beautiful mountain views, and on clear days, you could see the snow-capped mountains perfectly. It was excellent value for money, and all the facilities were brand new. The tables and chairs in the courtyard were also perfect for relaxing. Waking up in the morning and opening the window to a panoramic view of greenery and distant snow-capped mountains truly lifted my spirits. The owner was also very kind, and the service was thoughtful and meticulous. I'll definitely be back!
Each room offers a unique view, and a mountain vista comes with every cup of tea. Here, open your window to the majestic snow mountains, and brew tea to the fragrant aroma. The guesthouse's environment is tranquil and elegant, with interior decor that is simple yet stylish. In your leisure, with tea as your companion, gaze at the distant snow mountains, and all worries melt away. This is truly the life one yearns for, highly recommended for friends seeking peace of mind!

It was a great and good experience staying at this hotel. First of all, the super helpful and friendly staff. The manager on duty 小王 helped us to make an online reservation to visit Xinjiang Museum. The beautiful young trainee staff helped us to call up Xiamen Airline on her local phone to confirm our rescheduled itinerary. The hotel room is very clean, located near to a subway station which is convenient for travelling. Eatery outlets are easily accessible within walking distance.
A highly recommended hotel for a pleasure staying.
It's very close to Xiangfei Garden, and the hotel looks quite new, but the rooms are too small. I booked a double room, and I had to find a good angle to open my suitcase. The table in the room is against three walls, and there are no lights on the ceiling. If you want to read there, you need to bring your own light source, otherwise your eyes will hurt. The toilet seat is also misaligned, and things keep falling from the bathroom ceiling. The bathroom has a wet and dry separation, but the waterproof strip on the door is broken, so water still leaks out. The soundproofing is also not very good. With the door closed, I can clearly hear the sound of other rooms swiping their room cards. The most outrageous thing is that my room included an upgrade service, and I also noted that I wanted a quiet room when I booked. However, I was given a room right next to the elevator. It was so close that if the elevator door opened outwards like a normal door, it would completely block the room when it opened. I could clearly hear everyone entering and exiting the elevator. If this was an upgraded room, it's hard to imagine what the un-upgraded room was like.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe service was truly exceptional. I had an early flight and asked the front desk if I could check in early, which they happily arranged. They even upgraded my room for free, which I really appreciated. The front desk also had complimentary bottled water and fruit, a very thoughtful touch. They even gave me a free breakfast, which was also fantastic with a great variety and delicious food. Overall, it was an incredibly good experience. The front desk staff and security guards were all very friendly. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xinjiang. It's also close to the metro station and has plenty of restaurants nearby.

GGuest UserThis was the biggest surprise in terms of accommodation during this short trip to Xinjiang! The room is clean and tidy, with all the necessary items. The large floor-to-ceiling windows let in warm sunlight. You can sleep looking at the stars at night, and see the snow-capped mountains when you open your eyes in the morning. It is so beautiful that you have no worries! The boss and his sister are also very nice. We bought the ingredients ourselves. Not only did they provide us with a full set of barbecue tools and seasonings for free, but the chef brother also taught us how to marinate and grill meat, and the boss sister grilled vegetables for us herself. I have to say that the mutton in Zhaosu is really delicious😍
SShuhanAraleWe were a group of five people, with children and elders. The lady at the B&B contacted us in advance and was very considerate. She upgraded both rooms for free. The B&B has a very good environment and is designed with unique features. It is very beautiful. The location is excellent and very convenient. The ladies at the B&B are very beautiful, considerate and gentle. The service is very good.
22morrowsworldThis 4 star hotel has a goid rating on Trip.com and I can understand why. However, I liken this hotel to a 20 year old luxury car such as an E36 7 series BMW or Lexus LS 430. Exceptional and glorious when new, but getting old and tired fast.
On a superficial level the rooms look grand and sumptuous, but on greater scrutiny there are issues. One if these are the carpets, which are either in dire need of steam cleaning on a forensic level of thoroughness, or outright replacement. Some sections are worn and faded, while many odd bits and pieces can be found (and felt with bare feet), that seem to have escaped the attention of the room staff, e.g toothpicks, other miscellaneous refuse deposited by previous guests.
I booked a continental double room, for $68 AUD per night and there was a misalignment of the door with its frame. Large enough to see through to the outside! The room contained a sofa Comfortable enough but with fabric badly worn away. The white veneer paint on tables has seen better days.
Having said all this, overall, the hotel offers rooms of a relatively high standard. Ornate furnishings, large, extremely comfortable beds and pillows, a huge bathroom with sufficient water pressure and responsive hot water on demand (bathroom has a smart lighting arrangement which switches on via a sensor).
There are a dozen individual controls for room lighting. Lots of cupboards and drawers and powerpoints where needed. There is a gym but for some undisclosed reason is currently closed, of February 2024. Is a buffet style restaurant with several guests dining in it which looked very well staffed. Reception will go out of their way to give assistance with arranging tours, ordering taxis etc, and try to ensure guests are satisfied. In summary, the hotel looks good and to some extent is good, but may not be worth paying $50 US a night to stay in and was a little disappointing.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, easy to find on the main road, with a parking lot, convenient parking. The room is spacious and has new facilities. The room is clean and sanitary. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the sink meets hotel standards. The bedding is also very good, and the sleep is very comfortable. The hotel has a washing machine for washing clothes, and the cost performance is very high. I stayed there for a few days while playing in Turpan. The Xinjiang girl at the hotel front desk was warm and polite, and the check-in experience was very good!
QQianqianbelovedThe service was excellent. Upon check-in, we were offered tea and snacks. In the evening, they provided a glass of milk before bed, and in the morning, they even packed breakfast for us, just in case we couldn't find food on our journey.
The freshly squeezed juice at the restaurant was truly delicious and highly recommended! The breakfast items were all from high-quality brands, making for a fantastic experience. There was even a friendly staff member helping guests toast their bread.
The special service of watching the golden mountain and stargazing was also wonderful. The staff members would scout out the best spots beforehand to ensure we didn't go there for nothing, and they would even help us take photos and teach us photography tips! A truly excellent experience. Highly recommended!!
GGuest UserWe stayed in December when it was very cold and snowing. The room was cold and the heater is not very good. It’s actually the air conditioning unit and it is positioned by the front door to the room, which is a strange position as it’s far from the room itself. So we felt quite cold. The staff did all they can by providing extra blankets. In fact, the staff are very helpful. The location is good and convenient. I do think the owner should invest in an adequate heating system for the room.
SSyed AnoshI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable. They even provided a convenient pick-up and drop-off service from the airport, which made my travel experience much easier. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, offering a relaxing environment after a long journey. I also appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and thoughtful amenities.
GGuest UserThe hotel is new and clean, with a separate wet and dry area. For Hemu, it's probably quite good value for money. The only downsides were the very weak water pressure for showering and the very simple breakfast. Hemu itself is a strange place; there's not much to do, yet it's so crowded and expensive – I don't quite understand why.
