The location is super convenient, just right opposite the Tunjungan Plaza. The staff are polite and greet us with a smile whenever they see us. The room is clean and the bed is so comfortable. My only suggestion is maybe they can provide bathrobes in the rooms.
located in the heart of kayutangan where nearby local attraction at, cafes, places, station and Idjen boulevard.
the hotel is clean, has a free valet service for car parking, small pool in the 6th floor facing the street.
the staffs are very accomodate what you needs, they also offer us a free upgraded room to deluxe.
I just stayed here for a few hours, had a good power nap before heading for my tour! The front desk lady was very supportive when the one room had worms coming from the toilet and she gave me another room. Thank you 🙏 there some nice restaurants near to the hotel.
This is actually a VERY COOL hotel. As someone who LOVE vintage things, I really appriciate this place. From their historical front building, their vintage styled room, all took me back to the 90s to early 2000. The NOSTALGIA 🥺. When I was little, my grandpa and grandma used to take me travel and stayed at hotels. So hotels like these have a special place in my heart.
Unfortunately, it looked like they really cut down the budget. Although they gave a very cheap price for their room (not more than IDR 250K including breakfast), on WEEKENDS?? But the towels were not white anymore and felt thin (not like other hotel towels), the sheets had tough spots, and no shower cap. But I loveddd the lemongrass soap and shampoo, and they were in dispensers so less plastic waste.
The breakfast was really sad. It was nice when I stayed here around a couple of years ago. But this time it was worse. Not too many options and looked empty. Really felt like they didn't put much effort. Well, what do you expect for that price? And I understand they might be in a very tight budget.
I noticed they added a ”Mini Zoo” signage. A staff warned me that there were not many animals yet. But I decided to go see it. Turned out it was located in the side of the parking road (but outdoor), there were fishes and a big avian animal (like chicken but different, I don't know what it was). And some parakeets in two separate cages, they were all dead 😭😭 I told a staff and they quickly removed the dead birds. Good idea but poor execution.
But anyways, location was top. Just a few meters across the street, there was a bus stop and you can hop on the Suroboyo Bus to go anywhere. And the hotel itself was in a main street of a hot destination (Old Town Surabaya), with historical buildings complex, also with the chinatown nearby.
I really hope they can survive this economy storm. I really love this hotel 🥺.
It’s a decent hotel located in center of Surabaya near to Tunjungan Plaza and Jalan Tunjungan. The room is very standard to everything one person need for few nights stay… nothing fancy. I was assigned room with amazing view from 6th floor. The room is clean and neat and I love that they have smart TV. Wifi is pretty fast and reliable too. One thing for improvement is foul smell on the hallway. I think it’s due to the aging building. However, staffs clean the hallway carpet regularly. I would surely return to this hotel if I go back to Surabaya.
Stay again for the 2nd time after my original first stay when we first arrived in Surabaya before moving to Jogja.
This time the room assigned to us had problem with the shower head. Its spoilt and the water was so close to the wall it is almost impossible to shower properly.
You either bump into the faucet or accidentally turned it off or moved the water setting, very frustating. If not because if its proximity to one of the largest shopping mall (Tunjungan Plaza) and my first stay room was not so bad without the shower head issue, I will surely have had a bad experience with the hotel itself. Its value for money though. The location is exactly the sane as Wyndam hotwl. (4 stars) which is jusy opposite the hotel
Loved everything about this hotel. Staff were friendly & helpful. Location is perfect, just beside 2 malls. Surrounded by local food stalls. Our room has a beautiful mountaim view. Also very spacious. Worth extending our stay. Wonderful 5 nights spent.

GGuest UserWent here with my husband and 1 kid under 5 years old. Surprisingly, room is spacious enough for three of us! My daughter favorite part is the lamp that can be controlled through the screen and Bobobox app on the phone.
But most of it, is the view that caught our attention. The ambience is also top notch. The secluded locations + silence and sound of nature 👍👍👍

XXiaodaidaiFishThis hotel is absolutely delightful, a must-stay for anyone planning to catch the sunrise at Bromo. The location is superb, and the views are breathtaking. It's about a 30-minute motorbike ride to Kingkong Hill in the morning, leaving around 3:45 AM is perfect. The front desk will ask which viewpoints at Bromo you'd like to visit and will even escort you to where the motorbike drivers are waiting, helping to communicate your itinerary. We went to Kingkong Hill + the crater, which cost 250k/person – excellent value. Our guide was great, stayed with us the whole time, and even helped us get a pony at the crater. The whole trip took about 4 hours. Afterwards, we were able to come back for breakfast, catch some sleep, and then check out.
The front desk staff are incredibly responsible and accommodating. They brought us a heater, translated for our Gojek driver who didn't speak English, and helped us communicate with our motorbike driver, among other things. The surroundings are comparable to a mini-Switzerland; sitting on the terrace, you can truly feel a sense of peace and happiness.
My only two minor criticisms are that the bedding wasn't spotlessly clean, but we brought disposable sleeping bags so it was fine. Secondly, the 30L hot water tank is only enough for one person to shower, meaning the second person has to wait.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel; I really enjoyed my stay here~
YYUNG SIANGFirst time in Surabaya . Very very terrible experience at Swiss Belinn hotel .
First night due to my flight delay I check in around 10pm and I get a last room ( in front of the room is emergency exit ) very bad feeling when I step in the room, I feel “something” inside . Request to change but reception inform full house. Midnight my room keep got water sound , flush water sound !
Second morning I request to change room , 8pm finish work bck to hotel told me full ? I’m like ***? I requested to change in the early morning. One round of battle , I manage to change room , the boy told he help me take my luggage from old room, after 10 min , luggage that they sent to me is not belong to me!!!! Where is my baggage? After half an hour, my baggage is back to my room and they told me found it at the other room ??!! I got so many question mark in my mind . 11pm , a boy keep knock my dooor and call Ibu ibu……in the morning , housekeeping come in without knocking the door at 928am ! Thanks god that moment I’m done changing !
Third night : this is the worst night for me. Been awake by toilet water sound again ! But this time is different , I feel something not right and I’m so scared. I try to ignore , but I feel “someone” sit on the other side of my bed and I feel my blanket is grasp firmly to the left side(I slept at right side ) ! The following is 447 am someone knock my door again !
I on my light and dare not to sleep anymore !
Fourth night : no story as I only back to hotel at 2am , I leave at 6am to airport
Hotel location is really good , breakfast nice too .
AAchmad NasichPros:
1. Hotel Andita Syariah Surabaya offers a highly affordable stay in a prime location within Surabaya's city center, making it an economical choice for budget-minded travelers.
2. Despite undergoing renovations, the rooms maintain a comfortable ambiance, providing guests with a satisfactory level of comfort during their stay.
3. The hotel staff is notably friendly and helpful, contributing positively to the overall guest experience.
Cons:
1. A peculiar detail is the provision of only one pillow per bed, which may seem unusual as many hotels typically provide two pillows per bed. This might be a point of consideration for guests who prefer additional pillows for added comfort.
2. The bathroom conditions at Hotel Andita Syariah Surabaya may not suit everyone. The absence of a mirror and the wet concept could be inconvenient for guests who prefer to keep the bathroom dry.
3. The washbasin lacking sanitation, allowing water to flow directly to the floor, may pose a cleanliness concern for some guests.
4. The absence of a telephone in the room might be a drawback for those who rely on traditional means of communication. However, the option to contact the reception via WhatsApp serves as an alternative.
In summary, Hotel Andita Syariah Surabaya provides a cost-effective option for individuals seeking affordability and a central location. While the peculiarities of one pillow per bed and certain bathroom conditions exist, the hotel remains suitable for those on a transit or short stay, given its economical pricing and convenient accessibility.
Nnasaa_The location is strategic. Close to the campus area. Want to go anywhere near. The facilities are very complete. Cleanliness no. 1 siii. There is a garden in the pool area, so you can enjoy your time while relaxing. Top for Grand Valonia. Good luck
__evas_The service is excellent, they are kind, polite, and helpful. Smiles never left their faces and they always try to help swiftly. The breakfast is great, tasty, and the selection is even greater, they have a lot of varieties of Indonesian food. The room is great in size, the floor is clearly swept, the bathroom is clean, the amenities are adequate (bring your own hair dryer bcs the one they have is not as great). But terribly disappointed with the cleaners, I used the spoon and glass on day 1 and they didn't even bother to clean them, only put on the usual spot. I tried to ”tell” them again the next day yet they still haven't cleaned any 🥲🥲
