Everything went perfectly; we were in group of 8; 4 different rooms, all on same floor. The hotel was very nice, had great live entertainment. Every service staff we met was friendly & professional and I love, Love, LOVED the pool & hot tubs area… it was perfect!
At 3 AM, there was a knock on my room door. I thought I was dreaming, but when I woke up, the knocking was still going on. Looking through the peephole, I saw two men, one Black and one White. They didn't look like hotel staff or anything like that.
I didn't open the door, and they left.
I was about to go back to sleep when there was another knock, and I even heard the doorknob being turned.
I opened the door, and it was the same two men again. I asked them what they wanted, and they said a few things I couldn't understand before leaving again.
I immediately reported this to Trip.com.
The hotel replied that the guest was looking for something.
What does the guest looking for something have to do with waking someone up in the middle of the night and disturbing their privacy?
Why is it said so casually?
Since the incident, I haven't received a single apology or positive response from the hotel.

The hotel is not far from gain bridge fieldhouse, walk 3-5 minutes. Because I have to watch the ball and booked this hotel. The location is excellent, and the major attractions from the city are all walking, the Marine Soldier Monument, the War Museum, the State Museum, whiteriver Park, the City Canal, etc. I didn't expect the city of Indiana polis to be worth walking around.
The hotel is the configuration of the standard hampton inn. Breakfast is the same. The bed and bedding are the same and the quality is stable. The room is also relatively large. Overall satisfaction 👍

Family-owned
Great rates compared to surrounding properties
Dated, but clean, spacious, comfortable mattress, & hot water with even better water pressure
Breakfast isn’t the standard sausage with biscuits & gravy either; they actual try
The room is large, clean, the bed is soft, the condition is OK, the breakfast is quite comfortable, it is a hotel relatively close to the University of Notre Dame nearby, and it takes less than 20 minutes to walk through the grove to the school.

Very cost-effective hotel. Hotel facilities meet the star rating standards, especially the quality of service is higher, and professional literacy is everywhere. Although the breakfast is not as rich as the domestic hotel, it is not bad in the middle of the United States. Convenient transportation, only five or six minutes walk from the bus center and train station.
There are many hotels nearby. This is a long time, but the room is very spacious and there are no strange people and things nearby. Short-term business trips are a good choice. Breakfast is really average, there is a supermarket nearby.

Nice and clean place. Be careful with the parking fee. They have a small parking lot, but if it's full they will give you a pass for the ”overflow parking” which is a parking ramp next to the hotel and try to charge you $25 for a night.

GGuest UserThis hotel is very strange, I booked twice, the bill price, the actual deduction and the same as Ctrip sent to me, two days ago the deduction is inconsistent, Ctrip attitude is not bad for me to handle, now this bill is not The same, the scheduled time is 127.33 US dollars, check out the bill is 139.23 US dollars (this is added state tax, I can understand), but my bank card actual deduction is 174.23 US dollars, the difference is too big. The last day of 2018 actually made me worry about this matter. This should be given a bad review.
GGuest UserBy far the staff at this hotel was so much more helpful and welcoming than any hotel I have ever previously stayed in. Good night staff was so friendly and willing to help answer questions. Good morning staff and breakfast stuff we're constantly checking on customers and making sure everyone had what they needed and were taken care of. Our room on the third floor was huge, spacious, included two giant Riverview windows, and was cleaner than any hotel I've stayed in previously. Lastly, I have to mention that the breakfast buffet was more delicious and larger than any breakfast buffet of other hotels. We stayed for one night, myself, my boyfriend, and my 6-year-old son. Not a single complaint and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the downtown Evansville area!!
GGuest UserEveryone who worked at the hotel were nice and polite. The rooms were fairly clean but the fold out couch had really dirty upholstery. A good cleaning or replacement is overdue. I paid 200.00/night, which I thought was too high and received one-ply toilet paper that your fingers just torn through. Did not appreciate that at all. Tissues were a bit better but not much. Bedding was passable but pillows were pretty flat. The room itself was small. I feel that these things may sound picky but for the nightly price, I expected more. The hotel also does not do breakfast which is not reflected in the higher cost. I really liked the location which was the high point of the stay.
GGuest UserWe arrived an hour early for check in but the lady at the counter pointed at sign that they are still cleaning the room. I understand but the parking lot was empty, and surely there was at least one ready. However I understand its a rule for a reason. She seemed troubled that we were there wanting to try to get unpacked early. If it was exceedingly clean I may not write a review. However there was a used coffee pod still in coffee maker, and the bathroom coulda used some additional cleaning. Toilet had stains and tubs corners were dirty from buildup.
GGuest UserWe were traveling for a volleyball tournament and needed a hotel for Saturday/Sunday. I had read an earlier comment that the hotel was very loud with the volleyball teams staying there. We did not have any problems with noise of any type. Check in and check out were very quick. The room had 5 USB ports for charging electronics along with the regular outlets that you could put a charger into. There was a mini fridge, coffee maker with coffee, and microwave. Beds/pillows were comfortable. Would stay again and will recommend to friends.
