I booked this hotel with trips.com, when I tried to check in they said there’s no reservation for me even though I showed them the confirmation number, they said trips.com didn’t send the confirmation to them, and I need to contact them myself. I asked them to borrow the phone so I can call because my phone is prepaid, and they said their phone doesn’t work to call outside, believe it or not, and they couldn’t help at all, so I contacted trips.com through live chat, the rep was so helpful, she contacted the hotel directly and was able to sort out the issue, then the guy from the hotel said he gone above and beyond to help me and he’s not supposed to. I found that’s funny because he didn’t help me at all from the beginning until trips contacted them. So I told him I was not satisfied with how he handled the problem initially, then he apologized, but not sincere you can tell by his tone of voice.
In terms of the hotel, it only has 2 floors, the 1st floor is kind of in the basement, the carpet is very old, but the room is clean. The heater wasn’t turned on, the room was cold when we arrived. The heating system and the washroom fan were very loud, so we have to turn off the heat in order for us to be able to sleep.
What they say about first impressions rings true here. Our room was on the second floor in a corner, and to get there, we had to walk through clouds of cigarette smoke from the many people smoking outside their rooms. And right by our door, there was a bucket of still smoldering cigarette butts.
The room was okay, but not the cleanest. There were a lot of assorted hairs on the bathroom floor, and the ceiling fan had not been cleaned for years. The only window in the room had also not been cleaned in a very long time. And it was seriously lacking in amenities. There was no coffee maker, but we did manage to borrow a kettle from the front desk. The television had no channels and only had streaming services. Luckily, some previous customer left themselves logged in to Apple TV. Wayne, if you are reading this, thanks! And the breakfast were very basic - frozen waffles or toast.
Next time we are in Niagara Falls area, we will definitely be looking elsewhere.
Arrived late at night, check-in was quick and easy, the room was clean, and got everything we needed. Kids love the swimming pool. Breakfast was good, staffs are very nice and helpful. A/C was loud, but our kids were able to sleep through it, so it was not a big issue. Overall, a friendly, simple accommodation , we were happy with our stay.
Everything is good except location. It locates some 4 km from downtown. But you have everything within walking distance , supermarket, dollarama, numbers of restaurant etc.
The best thing is the hotel provides free self serviced laundry but you have prepared your own detergent .
The hotel room is old anf has smell. A 2-star hotel acceptable clean but not really clean. The room has awful smell and very old. There are couple of flies flying around when we checked in. The bathroom does not have ventilator at all so all the smell just stay inside your room. There is no fly screen at the balcony/patio door so cannot open it for air circulating as afraid mosquitos and flies would enter the room. Not central air system. Just 1 unti AC so pretty noisy.
I got bed bugs bite after the stay. It’s unfortunate but I feel like during my business travels, unless I am booking premium higher end hotels where it is at least $130-$150+ per night, there is about 20-30% chance that I wake up with bites.. i can never see them and everything always appears ok but you find out after the fact, a day or two later. My biggest question to hotels are do you guys wash ALL bed sheets, fitted sheets, pillow cases, blankets, covers etc after every single stay? I can probably bet my next paycheque that I wouldnt be surprised if that’s not the case with most lower end hotels and it’s quite alarming…
It must be challenging to maintain a hotel that is so close to a peewee hockey town. The place was overrun with kids doing shenanigans, and the maintenance/cleaning staff were very overworked trying to keep up with their nonsense. Regardless the onsite staff was largely cheerful and helpful throughout our stay.
The room was clean enough and the bathroom was standard quality. The provided breakfast was adequate as well. Don't expect much from a Super 8. It's more the location than the ”luxurious amenities” you're paying for.
The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.

GGuest UserI saw the address and door of the apartment, but I actually got the key from the supermarket. The apartment is relatively new, with three rooms, two bathrooms and three beds. The decoration, furniture and appliances are all new, suitable for families.
JJacob ParkerI stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms were good. Standard bunk bed. Showers and toilets are not located in your room. Instead are located on your allocated floor. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good budget place to stay for travellers.
GGuest UserThe food was good as well as the location of the motel. Not sure though if bed bugs was causing my back to itch. But overall, it was a good stay
GGuest UserIn our opinion, the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Belleville, Ontario should be the benchmark for all such hotels. My husband and I have been traveling from Indiana to Quebec for some years, and this hotel provided our best experience _ever_ for our overnight stay on our trip, going up or coming back. The desk clerk, a very helpful young woman named Raymon M., was exceedingly kind and personable as well as professional. We called when we found ourselves downtown with no hotel in sight, and Ray quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us the solution (we'd left out part of the address in the GPS), then watched for us to arrive, and made us feel welcome when we did. The room rate was quite reasonable, and they were able to give us a ground floor room, as requested. The hotel was very clean and clearly well cared for, in our room as well as in the public areas. The breakfast options were fresh and ample, including fresh fruit as well as cereal (for me), a waffle iron (which my husband loved) and sausages that looked (and apparently tasted) like good quality sausages. We also enjoyed the fact that the hotel wasn't just one of a cluster of such hotels near the 401, and that there were ample resources nearby for food, though we arrived in the late evening. Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Belleville has become our go-to for our future driving trips up to Quebec. In fact, I wish I could clone it and set the clones down wherever we need to stop overnight! It is SO good. ~ Rebecca & James Longster (Stay: Dec 20-21, 2024)
GGuest UserOverall, this was a nice little place to stay. You can tell it's an older facility, but seems to be fairly well maintained. Pretty clean overall, though the floors were a bit sticky. The setup of our rooms was nice as well. I'd probably stay again if I were ever in the area.
GGuest UserUh, how to say it, worse than expected, although I have lived in this hotel before traveling abroad, it is still lower than expected. Health is general, service is not, the room feels nothing, the only good, parking is free. The front desk attitude is very good, typical Canadians, smiling.
