Very great hospitality. Easy to communicate with the hotel since they know basic english. Just use wechat to get password of room. Easier to check out just let them know thru wechat. Toilet also have modern toilet bowl with warmer. Very important especially during winter. This hotel is also near to any halal restaurants and mosque just walking distance. This is important for muslim traveller. Highly recommended to stay here.

Clean and spacious for two person. The location was also very convenient as it was right next to the wuyi station exit B that led directly to the hotel. This made it easy for us to explore the city and get around. the hotel was within walking distance to Kunming old town and night market. I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, convenient location, and spacious rooms.

Stay for one night but i extend of another 4 hours of stay because this hotel is cery comfy. I stay in many hotels during my trip to yunnan. I could conclude this is the best hotel in my trip here. The staffs are very friendly and helpful during my stay here. Near to suncheng street, nanping street, fashion mall and perfect place to stay (all places only 10-15 min by walking). Cleanliness is 15/10. Get the projector in the room and staff give me fridge magnet. Thank you so much for perfect service 🥰✨.

For Malaysians, I highly recommended to stay at this hotel!! Very near to halal restaurant. Most importantly, the owner very very very helpful in order suggesting the place to go. She even contact the place I want to go even though on trip.com/website mentioned that day closed. Luckily, the owner directly call the place and confirmed the place was open on that day since language barrier was one of big challenging if us want to call by ourself. I am so thankful to the owner. She even got us taxi/driver to go our place since the location has no english name. If have 100 stars, I definitely give her 100 stars because of her great & warmer hospitality 🥹 This hotel also near to Caicun Wharf one of most attractive place in Dali. Easier to book didi to go anywhere! And this hotel has heater, very important when winter season!

The hotel is conveniently located near the Kunming Railway Station. It’s just 5 mins walk away from the North Entrance. It’s is also abut 10mins walk away from 2 metro stations of Line 2&1. There are a lot of restaurants at the level one of the hotel and food are great. There is also a huge supermarket, ShengSiong at level 1. Those travelers from Singapore will be very familiar with ShengSiong. I reached the hotel at 8am and they were kind enough to let me check in. The room is super big, clean, and with very nice city view. Couldn’t have asked for a better room. Will definitely stay there again.

I found this to be an excellent stay on my trip. The location is superb, being only a stones throw from the North Gate of Lijiang Ancient City. The room was nice with a great walk-in shower and heated-seat toilet; the bed was large and comfortable—great for a tall traveller such as myself! And the staff were both friendly and generous with their time: they helped me on several occasions to get around the area, including the Tiger Leaping Gorge which, without their help, I may have missed my connecting bus to the trek. I highly recommend this place to others looking to stay in Lijiang. The staff are the highlight and I am grateful for their assistance during my stay.

This is a normal budget hotel suitable for solo traveller, families and also a couple. The hotel located next to main road. Need to walk few hundred metres to reach the Metro station. So that was considered okay. My trip was on winter. So im frustrated that the heater is not working at all. Im freaking cold the whole night. But the water heater works fine. Other than that, i think everything is just okay. Dont expect too much. It suits the price.

We were given the topmost corner room with a terrace which provides an unblocked view of the mountains with exceptionally fresh air. The room isn't huge and devoid of any noteworthy decorations, it's just a basic room. There are plenty of graffiti on the walls of the premise and while they do give character to the hotel, yet, some look a little unsightly, especially the carelessly scribbled ones.

I was transiting in Kunming and chose to stay overnight near the train station. It was on the 20th floor of an apartment building. There were other hotels and businesses in the building. It was newly renovated. The room was spacious enough with a good view and was very clean. There was a supermarket and snack bar downstairs. It was more than ten minutes' walk from the subway station.

The hotel location is fantastic just a 5-minute walk from the metro station and right by the Kunming Old Street. Despite the proximity to the bustling centre, the rooms are very quiet, and there’s great coffee provided in the lobby. Staff are very friendly and we were able to extend our check out to 2pm for which we are very grateful. There’s a great restaurant 太阳饭店 just a few steps beside the hotel. The only weird thing we find is that the toilet door can only close either the shower area or half of the toilet area which is not ideal. The room is a bit narrow but understandable given the location, and love that there is no smell of smoke anywhere.

Excellent service. We are new to China so they helped us out to work out Alipay, bus and metro transport. Our stay was very pleasant, great city views. And we had access to washer which was very good after 3 weeks of travel.

A sizeable triple room! There were even two sinks. We needed to do laundry and the front desk lady very kindly took our clothes to wash. However they do not have a dryer, so you'll need to factor in time for clothes to airdry. Hotel is on 31st floor (highest floor) of a building with other hotels on other floors. Which means we had a really good view of the city. Was a pleasant stay and would come back to stay if I'm in the city!

We enjoyed our stay here. It feels like a very well maintained place and everyone knows what to do. The staff brought our bags to room when we check-in and check out. The location was good and easy to find, to take cab also close by to main road. We booked this place because of its location, traditional building design and pricing. We enjoyed our room although sometimes we could hear neighbours firecrackers and electric bike sounds, but it wasn't a very big issue for us, seen as part of the culture. We particularly like the freebies that came with our booking and also the water bottle refill machine with normal and hot water setting. When we left, the lady boss spotted the door wasn't opening smoothly and immediately noticed the staff to check on it. It makes guest feel taken care of and priority.

This is one of the best and friendly hotels I have stayed so far. The front desk, and especially, the hotel restaurant staffs are exceptional helpful and polite. Location of the hotel is strategic too. Inside the ancient city but not in the heart where it can be very noisy. This place is quiet. Although there are many good restaurants within the ancient city, but I must say, their restaurants food and environment are the best. We had 2 dinners and 1 lunch at their restaurant, no regrets.

Usually Chinese visitors don't really speak to me (which is fine of course), but the girls I shared a room with even asked me to dinner with them and shared food Location The pictures they have down for the exterior, it's actually to the left of that. walking distance to the ancient village and chongsheng temple. easy trips to the lake. Amenities Fridge, washing machine, hair dryer, shoe dryer, toiletries, kitchen area etc. all included. There's like a communal courtyard area as well and I believe you can eat there too but you need to book it the day before by a certain time. Bathroom Sit down toilet. Shower. Toiletries. Looks a bit shabby at first glance but the shower toilet and sink are all working and very clean Room Lovely thick mattress (I've found they are usually quite thin in Chinese hostels so this was a nice surprise). Heater if needed. I'm not entirely sure how the lock on the door is supposed to be done. Overall great atmosphere. The pictures look a little bit rough around the edges but its honestly fine and i think I could stay here a while

The location is very good at Dali South Gate. The room is very quiet and spacious. It is very comfortable to live in. The hot water is very hot. The amount of water for showering is large, which is super convenient for washing. The most important thing is that the lady is very nice. All services are provided in place. They are disposable items and are very safe to use. She will also recommend where to go. I will stay again. The price-performance ratio is very high. I strongly recommend it.

I am sooo happy with my stay. Their service was probably the best out of every hotel I’ve stayed in. The owner was very very helpful. He was also really open to sharing where to go and tips to get around. Location wise, it’s a bit further from the main attraction but you get a quiet stay away from the bustling street which is also within walking distance. Walking around gave me a chance to appreciate the town a little more. Veryyyyy clean, owner checks in with you if you’d like your room to be cleaned via WeChat. Overall, it’s a warm little stay operated by a family~ will definitely be going back again!

The front desk staff are friendly and eager to provide information. The location is in the center of the business district, which is convenient for shopping. Here you can chat with many friends and get their experiences. The service staff are also willing to help solve problems. However, if you stay in a private room, it will be easier if there is a lounge upstairs. It smells like smoke and is noisy. It is suitable for a room with multiple people and is cost-effective. The electricity and hot water systems happened to be unstable during those few days. This is the only drawback.

It's really good. The room is very big. I ate delicious food here and digested it as soon as I walked to the bed. The front desk guy provided good service and was very enthusiastic. ❤️‍🔥 I came here during the New Year and he also prepared a small gift box. Although I didn't eat it, it's convenient to be one street away from Dali Ancient Town. It's quite soundproof. Anyway, I'm very noisy and no one reported me. It's great. Everyone booked this room for me. I like the tiles in the bathroom. There's nothing else. I just feel this. It's enough.

I felt very welcome in this hotel, everyone was so nice, and even translated everything in my language. My room was beautiful, cosy, with a lot of light and a wonderful mattress. I had a kettle for my morning tea and everything necessary in the bathroom, including a hairdryer. It's 3 minutes walking from the train station, and also from the bus stations where you can take bus 8 for old Dali and other buses for the other side of gorgeous Erhai lake. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. I recommend it 100%＞

Although I kept to myself I had a pleasant stay. The beds are comfortable and the shower has some nice hot water. The female dorm has no AC but it wasn't needed because it was never too warm in the room. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. I really liked the location, just outside of the old town and in walking distance to the Three-Pagoda. The hostel can be a bit tricky to find - on the right side of the pottery store you'll see the words Dali Kingdom. If you follow the arrow and the red lanterns you'll quickly arrive at the hostel.

The host is very friendly and helpful giving us tips on how to effectively tour around Li Jiang. Service is excellent. The rooms are cozy and clean as the room service is very consistent. The location of inn is more or less convenient for us to travel around the ancient city. Everyone in the inn was very friendly too. It's like a home. Highly recommended.

If you’re a solo traveller, don’t hesitate to stay at this guesthouse. The room is clean and comfortable, with hot water and nice bathroom with separate wet and dry areas. Location is excellent, in the old town but quiet and secluded, yet very convenient to get around because it’s near a roadside pick-up location & bus-stop. This place felt like home because of the people. The lady boss was very kind to make me tea. The guy at front desk is a superstar. He helped me to snag tickets to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain on the first attempt, planned my itinerary, and helped to connect other solo travellers together so that we can have company. On 2 nights (one of which is new year’s eve), he invited me to have dinner with the other guesthouse. On NYE, he brought a group of us out to enjoy the festivities in the old town, he was like a tour guide, giving us an explanation of the history and bringing us to the best sights. We ended up celebrating & counting down 2025 New Year in the bar. The people made my stay in Lijiang memorable and I would highly recommend to stay here if you are a solo traveller open to make friends and meet new people.

This hotel provides the services more than 5 stars. Gesang, the beautiful host can communicate excellent in English and very supportive. I have never seen a friendly and supportive host like her. She not only helped us to book the show, taxi, but also helped to resolve our issue with the local bus tickets. This is significant important when you travel and cannot communication in Chinese. The room is clean with a beautiful view. My friend room also been upgraded to a better room with no cost. A must book hotel if you travel to Lijang.

The guest house location is excellent, easy to go to Lijiang Ancient City, great view on the roof top to view Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The owner helped us to buy the ropeway ticket to go up to Jade Dragon, without the need to go through tour agent. His suggestion helped us to tour around Lijiang more efficiently. We decided to extend another night and canceled the booking in Baisha town. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

Great place to stay. Really good vibes and nice accomodation. Short walk to the old town or slightly longer walk to some good viewpoints for sunset.

The original itinerary was changed, but I finally decided to come. I arrived late. The lady boss received us, sent us to the room, helped to turn on the air conditioner and hot water, and reminded us of the precautions for altitude sickness. The room was also very clean. The whole service made me feel very comfortable. I stayed for several nights in a row, and they were very enthusiastic. On the last day, we happened to return to the hotel, and the lady boss invited us to dinner together. It felt like home! There is also a special friend~ the dog is very clingy.

It was clean and spacious and the staff were rlly friendly! Gym was run down and dusty but can't expect much for the price. Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend it!

Never felt so satisfied with any other hotel booking than this one at Juhe guesthouse (lijiang mufu). We rated the service 100 out of 5 😆. Beautiful traditional local home, cozy vibes, quiet surroundings but convenient, easy access to all main spots of the town. The room for group with 3 separated beds, very spacious, clean and equipped with necessary amenities, water, heating system…. Eventhough we booked it 2-3 days in advance, the price was surprisingly good. There were complimentary bonus services such as Luggages pickup/drop off from the main road, rose cake and tea tasting with the host himeself, traditional costume… moreover both the hosts were really really warm, they even offerred meal when possible. They supported us from A to Z with all our requests (transport, sightseeing/ specialty recommendations…) which was beyond expectation. If you are lucky enough, the host could even guide you around and shared the best information about the old town. Absolutely the best! Will definitely come back if we have chance.

A small homestay located in the heart of the old town. There are enough shops and restaurants nearby. It's about a 10 minute walk to both the north gate and the south gate. Keep in mind if you have heavy luggage you would need to drag it around the cobblestone streets because no vehicle can reach the place. The service of the owner alone makes me rate this place 5/5 stars already. It didn't matter how many questions I asked, everytime he helped me out. If you are a solo traveller or don't speak any word of Mandarin then this is a great place to stay, the owner will make sure you don't get lost. While the service was perfect and couldn't be any better there are some negative things worth mentioning. First of all, the soundproofing is really bad. The room's door is full of holes and gaps so you can hear everything that is happening outside. Moreover, you better make sure you don't have any upstairs neighbours because you can hear everything what they do as well: moving around on the wooden floor, flushing the toilet, opening the tap, taking a shower. Second, talking about showers, the shower in the room takes quite some time to heat up (similar to most hotels in China) but the more annoying part is that its impossible to get the right temperature for the shower: its either way too hot or cold. Lastly, the curtains were full of disgusting stains and didn't block out all the light so I recommend just getting them replaced. All in all, this place has some positives and some negatives. Decide for yourself if you want to stay here. In my opinion, despite the negatives, I would definitely stay here again and recommend you to do the same.
