Nice and welcoming hotel just a few minutes walking from Victoria metro station. Very friendly and helpful front deskš.
The room itself was clean, quiet (facing the courtyard) and the AC worked well. 2 downsides for me are the mirrors everywhere in the room, too much and a small fridge didnāt work. I didnāt take breakfast at the hotel as there are a lot of small cafes just around the corner.
And St. George's square was a real delight! Authentic, delicious and cheap meals at the sunset.

This hotel represents good value for money in Athens. I selected a room with a delightful balcony and interesting street views - there is also tiny park opposite. The desk was fine to complete several hours of work. The air-conditioned worked extremely well. I also appreciated the mini fridge in the room, which many hotels with Athens don't have.
However, the bathroom was little tiny. Its about 10 min walk to Omonia Metro station, which offers a direct line to the port area. There is an excellent supermarket about 10 min walk from the hotel. This area feels more like the real Athens, rather than hotels in tourist zones. This zone has wonderful multicultural feel. In the same street of this hotel, there are excellent hairdressers for $5 Euro a cut and fantastic stores to buy discount clothes and bags. I would certainly recommended this hotel for travellers that appreciate value for money and with great amenities like balcony and fridge.
The hotel is in a great location, close to everything you can eat, and a 15-minute walk to the beach. The hotel is cozy and comfortable, and the staff is very polite and helpful with any questions.
However, I'd also like to point out that a kettle and dishes (glasses and spoons) would be a good idea in the rooms.
The shower is very small, so you can't turn around, and you're afraid of water spilling all over the floor. The shower is designed for thin and small people, and I'm not one of them š¤£

The location of hostel is pretty good. Everything is like 5 minutes walk away. . Hostel staff is really nice and thats all about it. . Rest of the things are below average. . need to work on cleanliness.
Not bad, affordable, with a small balcony. Put the door of the room at the front desk when you enter and exit. It is far away from the E7 port of the blue star company. A taxi is required. Breakfast starts at 6 o'clock at the front desk. A taxi service can be provided. The service fee is 0.5 Euro. The odometer shows the fare of 4 Euro and the luggage ticket is 1 Euro.

The mansion is location is from no where. You need to rent a car or Uber every time you wanted to go out. Too far from civilization⦠On top of the mountain⦠Sorry, but this is my personal experience.
The manager is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. It's a shame about the shared bathroom, because when I read the description, I understood that the bathroom was private, and I personally don't like shared spaces with other people. However, I give him at least a 4 because he's really kind.
A cheap and good hotel with convenient transportation. I discovered the most delicious pork burrito shop in Athens so far on the road next door. I ate two of them before I was satisfied. There is also a church next to it.

I stayed in a single room on floor 4. The room was clean and had a window. The windows opened. There was a new fridge in the room that was fantastic and I was able to have ice cold drinks. The bathroom was small but had everything I needed. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels and linens provided. The cleaner was very nice. There was enough room for all my bags, it was snug but very good for the price. I ate breakfast every morning. It was a really nice breakfast room. The breakfast is basic but everything is very fresh and nicely presented. Floor 1 had a strong scent of tobacco and I assumed it was the smoking floor. Floor 4 where I stayed was very quiet and I didnāt smell smoke at all. As a non smoking so traveller I have to have theses needs met! The reception staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel is central itās only a 20 min walk to all the Athens highlights. Itās a great walk too! Lots of interesting shops! The Archeological museum is only a short walk from the hotel so well placed. The train station main line is only 15 min walk too. Thereās a great place to have a full dinner just round the corner for around 12 euros which is great value. I loved the shopping in the area. A very comfy stay I would definitely come back. As a solo female traveller I felt quite safe at the hotel. It is a basic clean hotel and at a budget price. The images attached are of the things mentioned including pictures of the room.

GGuest UserIt was a good stay for the price. Close to the station, towels are exchanged every day, and there is a cheap and delicious kebab shop right by the side (diagonally in front). The man at the front desk was very kind.
However, the location is not very good first. The road from the station to the hotel is not so worried if it is not midnight, but it is not recommended for women. And if you go back to the hotel and go to the right about 3 blocks, you get to the dangerous zone of the Manila slums. There are all kinds of drug addicts.
And there is no shampoo or toothbrush in the room. Then, there is no shower curtain, so the toilet becomes rusty even if it enters how well.
But you can forgive me if you think about the price. Such a hotel.

RRaunaq GhoshThe hotel is located in a nice place. All the major attractions are 1 - 3 metro stops away, which hardly takes 10-15 mins from the gate of the hotel to the gate of the attraction. The staff is really nice, the person who was doing morning shift on 22nd gave me an early checkin, very kind of him. The lady in the night shift, I think her name is Lana, she is also very helpful. Caffe and restaurant near the hotel are nice, multiple options are there.
Now coming to the condition of the hotel - itās not up to the basic standards. The rooms are very very old, the bathroom is in a pathetic condition ie old fittings, old marble (worst ). The building is in a mess. It looks like the hotel is not renovated since the time it was built. The lifts are scary. The lights in the room are dull. Itās better to book a hostel than this hotel in the same price point. There is a smell of chemicals on the
Hotel floors. The hotels next to this hotel are way way better, there are 3 4 of them in the same lane. PS - incase you want to use the aircon theyāre gonna charge you 5 euros per day , though I really doubt that the aircon will work, but still. The heater in the room was also not working. In the night you donāt get hot water, it will only come in the morning.
GGuest UserAs for the location, about ļ¼ minutes walk from Syntagma Square. Great location where you can also walk to major tourist spots. There is no problem with the surrounding security.
The room is narrow, and the shower booth is only about 60 cm square, but there is no way to think about the price.
Amenities are body soap and shampoo, soap, dryer, towels, bath towels (towels will be replaced for consecutive nights).
The walls are thin and can be heard in the next room and the bell of the cathedral (ring every 30 minutes), so it is not suitable for nervous people.
The rooftop is open 24 hours and can see the Acropolis.
Although it is undeniably old, the staff are friendly and kind, and considering the location and price, I want to stay again.
TTomHeeLocation is what i really like about this hostel. Near to great food. Near to train station. Very easy to get around. Lift to every floor - easy for luggage.
I like the smell of the room when i enter, after housekeeping just completed. They put great air perfume and feels great.
Room is very spacious, with locker for everyone. We also have curtain for privacy. Own light and charge point at the bed.
Staff very welcoming, friendly.
Breakfast: Cake + Coffee (7-9sm)
What i didn't like but i can live with it:
1. Toilet v small. Not suitable for XL folks.
2. Some shower areas without light
3. No towel, no toiletries
In short, I'll like to return to this place again if i come Athens alone.

GGuest UserBooked into this hotel by Trip as they had booked me into the wrong hotel- another story- on arrival the woman tried to charge me following trip having emailed me confirmation of payment by them following their blunder with the pervious booking. I got the impression she thought she could make a quick killing due to the confusion and me being in a tired/stressed state due to the booking blunder by Trip Which they had sorted after a little faffing around.
I was having non of it and she eventually relented. from thereon it was ok-The rest of the staff were ok and although it was inferior to the hotel I had actually booked it did the job. Basic hotel for a short stay, no facilities really but close to the ferry port and Metro for Athens. The room had a fridge which was handy and there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby, it is right next to the market which is interesting.
Make sure you have proof of payment if you choose to stay
BBazillionTruly 5/5. This place is everything. A perfect compliment that will made our Athens stay!
Lovely staff could not do enough for us and the location of 4m walk to the Acropolis metro and 15m to the Acropolis hill was unbeatable for us. The area was safe albeit touristy but we found locals spots with good prices an easy stroll away. Especiallly as the hotel was easy to find. We took a triple room and our friend said the sofa bed was very comfy. The room was spacious and quiet. The shower was exceptional and the bathroom modern and clean. Every day the staff refreshed our room and washed the dishes. The kitchenette included a microwave, industrial strength sandwich press and table and chairs in the bay window which allowed us to relax in the morning and evenings with our own snacks and beverages.
I wouldnāt hesitate to stay here again. Very big thanks to the staff and owners.
GGuest User- Great location, very close (less than 5 min walk) to the ferry gate needed to reach Naxos and Paros (which is opposite a great value bakery). Perfect place to stay before an early morning ferry.
- Very kind and helpful receptionist who went out of his way to welcome us despite us arriving close to midnight. He even gave us tips for our return visit to Athens.
- Clean, spacious room with good water pressure and strong air con.
- WiFi also worked well.
- We didn't experience the loud noise from a nearby club that other people mention in reviews for this place but it was a week night that we stayed.
- Only note for improvement would be for the curtains to cover the full window and for no plastic cups for water in reception and reusable toiletries in the bathroom so the hotel can be more environmentally friendly.
- We didn't have breakfast here so can't comment on the food.
