Location
One just needs to walk about 20 minutes to reach the tourist belt - shops and restaurants abound.
Just outside the guesthouse is a small convenience shop, and in the evening, food carts are set up, and one can find some street food.
Amenities
Body and hair shampoo are not provided, only disposable toothbrushes and 2 pieces of small hand soap. There are mosquitoes, so one needs repellent to ward off the pesky insects.
Service
The staff are friendly, and they responded to requests quickly.
This is a B&B not far from the city center, quiet and comfortable. It is very suitable for taking a good rest after visiting the scenic spots. There are balconies and terraces, and light meals are also available. The owner is friendly and enthusiastic, making you feel at home. And the house price is very cost-effective.
Budget hotel, conditions perfectly match the price, and the price for CTrip was lower than when they came in person and asked. To the center on foot 20 minutes. On tukTuk 5. I was satisfied
It is 400m walk from the street that foreign tourists like. The rooftop clothesline is airy and convenient. However, the reception staff does not allow Australians, Americans and Arabs to follow the hotel rules. I enter the room with my feet and dirty the floor. It's very uncomfortable.
The hotel was under construction when I arrived. The breakfast is poor and the price of a bottle of water was high (2.5 dollars). However I cut my foot whilst staying at this hotel and the owner was very kind, treated it with Iodine and wrapped it clean to avoid infection. These kind gestures are what defines a country and your overall experience. So overall I was satusfied.

LLuca BertinelliVery nice and posh ”hostel” (mad monkey is more a corporation now), perfect for young people looking for meeting others, pub crawling and getting frequently drunk.
Check the info you get from the counter (they'll tell you need a taxi to the airport for 30 USD because tuktuks don't go there. Tuktuks actually go asking 15 and you can probably bargain at around 8)
DDima LakhimWe stayed for 3 nights, first booked for a day, and then extended for two more days.
I really liked the attitude of the staff, they are ready to help with any question. We rented a bike and left it at the hotel for the night, in the morning I found the bike in a special room where all the rented equipment of visitors (bicycles and motorbikes) is stored, very nice.
At the reception they printed out my plane tickets for free, thank you!
The air conditioning was always on in the room, it was pleasantly cool (even when we left), there is a breakfast set: water, coffee with cream, sugar and a kettle.
The mattress is good, clean, the pillows are comfortable, we slept well.
The door to the toilet could be better, it's as if it doesn't exist.
The location of the hotel is also very good. Despite the fact that it is located in the very center, the hotel is quiet, you can't hear the noise from all the street cafes, from the pub street and the rest. It's literally a 5-minute walk to them.
Considering the cost per day, this is a great place!
(There is a hotel opposite with a pool where you can swim for $1).
GGuest UserDO NOT BOOK this hostel. Everything is perfect except the GERMAN PHYCHO on the 4th floor. There is living a old man who is mental ill, the hostel staff knows about it but does nothing. He is yelling by himself and few hours laughs hysterically. No one on the 4th floor can sleep, because he does it all day and night. He also threatened to kill a woman. He sleeps on the balcony, not in the room. We were scared to sleep at night. Hotel staff didn’t help and forbid us to call to police. The food in the hostel/hotel is expensive. It’s cheaper to eat outside.
GGuest UserOverall, it is a friendly and quiet accommodation.
It is far from the main street, so preferences may vary depending on taste, but the traditional market is not far away, so it was not inconvenient to use.
I had some doubts about the cleanliness of the towels provided, but I trusted them and used them.
Also, the water pressure was low, so I was disappointed when taking a shower.
There is a delicious barbecue stall nearby, and the cafe where you can enjoy wifi and morning coffee for $1, as well as the local restaurant, were satisfactory.
The best thing was the tuk-tuk driver (Mr. Dee) recommended by the accommodation, who made the memories of ‘Angkor’ happy.
As the only survivor of the Khmer Rouge massacre, he wanted us to know about the national suffering at the time, and we satisfied him. (The memories of Gwangju on May 18, 1980 overlapped.)
Thank you, Mr. Dee
GGuest UserPerfect in every way, more than I could ever wished for,
A fantastic place in a great location to visit Angkor Watt and all of the other temples,
The host and day/night manager were super helpful in any way without being the slightest intrusive,
A credit to Cambodia and the ethos that is Cambodian,
I am unable to recommend any more highly than ,
Go and stay here without any qualms or hesitation,
Thanks everyone,
Luvkev

GGuest UserGood location and clean. It is possible to rent a motorbike. There is a good restaurant inside of the hostel which is convenient if you get hungry at any time
GGuest UserI'm Japanese.
I stayed at this hotel for one night to see the Encore Wat ruins.
The location is very good, about 10 minutes by bike to the city pub street and 15 minutes to Encore Wat.
The hotel was very kind, and even if I arrived at the hotel around 23:00, I asked for check-in procedures, rental bikes, and taxi arrangements, and they were willing to accept it.
Rental bikes were also lent for $12 a day, which was a very enjoyable trip.
I would like to stay again when I visit Siem Reap again.
The disadvantage is
1. I think it will take a taxi fee for those who do not rent a motorcycle
(it took $10 to get back and forth from the hotel early in the morning to Encore Wat)
2. It may have been bad to use, but I felt a little inconvenient because the shower temperature did not rise.
