Having stayed at this hotel 13 years ago, I decided to book it again this time, but unfortunately, the experience was a far cry from what I remembered!
1. **Bottled Water**: There's no complimentary bottled water in the room. Guests have to go to the front desk to collect it, and each bottle is minuscule, only 296ml! You're also limited to just one or two bottles per person per trip, which means a daily trek downstairs just for water.
2. **Minibar Sensor Trap**: All food items in the room, both in the minibar fridge and on the shelves, are equipped with sensors. Simply moving an item from its original spot registers it as consumed/purchased. This policy is incredibly unreasonable. I merely picked up a bottle to look at it and was charged! A single bottle of mineral water costs $24 USD. Upon check-out, I discovered I'd been charged for three bottles. The front desk informed me they needed to 'verify' the charges before processing a refund to my credit card, and couldn't even provide an estimated timeframe for when the refund would be issued.
3. **Missing Towel Incident**: A huge warning: Do NOT bring your own white bath towels! I hung my personal towel behind the bathroom door, assuming that hung towels wouldn't be taken for cleaning (as most hotels only clean towels left in the tub or laundry basket). When I called the hotel, they claimed they needed to 'investigate' with a third-party laundry service to see if my towel could be located. If not, they'd compensate me, but I have little hope of a resolution for this matter.
4. **The Oshow**: The 'Oshow' in the hotel's West Tower costs around 2100 RMB per person. While the performers were very dedicated, I couldn't even recall the plot from my previous viewing, and overall, it lacked any significant appeal. The sound, lighting, and special effects felt quite dated.
5. **Delayed Check-in**: Although check-in was scheduled for 3:00 PM, we weren't fully checked in until 3:30 PM. We booked two rooms, but one wasn't ready until 5:00 PM, and only after I called to inquire! As compensation, the staff provided each person with a $25 meal voucher, valid at the hotel restaurants.

The Wynn Hotel generally offers good value among Las Vegas hotels. Its facilities are relatively new, and the property itself is very grand and impressive. However, there are a few issues that might be particularly noticeable for Chinese guests.
Firstly, rooms do not come equipped with a kettle or coffee machine, meaning there's no hot water available. Additionally, complimentary bottled water is not provided. Their reasoning is quite simple: free water is readily available if you visit the casino downstairs.
Secondly, housekeeping service can be quite slow, likely due to staffing issues. For guests staying multiple consecutive nights, it's common for rooms not to be cleaned until 3 or 4 PM. However, I suspect this is a fairly common experience across many hotels in Las Vegas.

You can see the big globe directly from the hotel, and it's connected to Wynn. The room is quite spacious and comfortable, and the hotel's breakfast service is also good. However, it can get quite noisy on weekends because there's a very famous bar downstairs that's usually lively until 4-5 AM.

Had a wonderful stay! The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transport links and plenty of dining and shopping choices nearby. The front desk staff were warm and professional; check-in was efficient, and they even thoughtfully upgraded our room. Our room was spacious and bright, featuring stylish modern decor. The comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless, with ample hot water and good quality toiletries. Breakfast offered a rich variety of Chinese and Western options, and the food was delicious. A special thank you to the customer service staff for proactively offering travel tips; it was a very considerate touch. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, with quality evident in every detail. We will definitely choose to stay here again. Highly recommended!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! I stayed in Vegas for 4 days, and I think the Fontainebleau is the best. It's just a tiny bit off the Strip, but the guy at the front desk upgraded me to a room with a Sphere view for free, which was amazing and really made my trip special. The hotel is very new, and everything is super clean. My son accidentally ordered a pay-per-view movie, and when we went to the front desk to see if they could waive the charge, the lady there ended up doing it for us! Very accommodating!

Room is spacious with nice decor, especially the modern and beautiful bathroom. Room is clean and bed comfortable!
Location is reasonably convenient, 10 minutes walk to public transport in boulevard. 30 minutes walk to the sphere and strip centre.
Hotel doesn’t provide kettle or cups which is inconvenient. You can’t make hot coffee or tea during your stay.
You will be charged for snacks if you remove them from the tray for more than 30 seconds.

Excellent hotel! The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Its location right next to the White House is fantastic, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. I noticed many well-dressed guests from all over the world, which really speaks to its high quality and class.

This is a popular hotel, so expect long queues for check-in, even late at night. The hotel boasts excellent facilities, and there's direct access to entertainment and dining options right downstairs. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. My only minor complaint is the absence of a coffee machine and an electric kettle.

TTravelifeJoStayed at Vdara recently and wanted to share a few highlights and realities from the experience. The location isn’t ideal for public transport—you’ll need to walk about 10 minutes outdoor to reach the nearest bus stop (which is quite challenging in summer time with over 100F). However, the hotel is well connected to others like Park MGM and Bellagio, which are just a 10–15 minute indoor walk away or could take monorail.
Dining options directly at Vdara are quite limited. For a wider range, you may head to nearby hotels like Cosmopolitan or Bellagio, though most options there are on the pricier side. we ended up order uber for meal delivery, which is a less expensive option. Lyft is a good choice for getting around more easily, coz if u take bus to downtown, it can take an hour for a single ride.
Rooms come with a kitchen, which sounds convenient, but kitchenware isn’t provided unless requested. If you’re planning to cook, be prepared for a bit of a hike—nearest supermarket is about a 20-minute walk away. We also had an unfortunate experience on arrival: found leftovers from the previous guest in the kitchen—pretty disgusting. When we asked for a kettle and cups, the cups still had stains on them, which was disappointing and frankly, unacceptable for a hotel of this level.
Definitely some upsides in terms of location and connectivity, but for what you pay, the convenience and cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

AAnonymous UserGood location for sure. Really nice comfortable pillows! Bath room is big. The worst part is that they don’t provide free water! No kettle to make tea or coffee. Very disappointing for this much of a price. You can get these little water bottles if you play at the casino. Water is free but you have to tip the wait staff. No water fountains anywhere in the hotel to get water except at the gym! Or you have to pay extra to access their lounge.
When I checked in I found a pair of cleaning gloves at the sink. Otherwise the room was clean enough.
GGuest UserThe hotel does not live up to its 5-star rating. Some employees, particularly at the Zen Restaurant, often have an unfriendly attitude and rarely smile. Additionally, the restaurant options are limited, and despite operating hours, room service is not available 24/7. I will not be choosing this hotel for my next visit to Vegas.
