The hotel is strategically located at centre of Kota Bharu and opposite kelantan river. Walking distance to Muzium Perang (Bank Kerapu), other few museums & Restoran nasi ulam cikgu. There is a few food stalls open at night near the hotel. Cannot expect much for amenities but the hotel did provide body wash in the toilet but no shampoo. Still feel safe as solo female traveller. Plus point the hotel has elevator & water refill machine on every floor if im not mistaken. The downside maybe the hotel’s hallway seems a bit gloomy & musty. No window hence the musty smell in the room as well. However, i would definitely choose this hotel again if i ever come to Kota Bharu considering its location & price wise.

The location is near to the new supermarket and household outlet. Durian Hill Villa is also close to the natural hill. The hiking route is about 90 minutes (two ways). Nice View from the top of the hill. Recommended for a morning walk from the Villa.

Stay for one night. One double bed and a single bed. Strategic location. Near several attractions. Air-condition and water heater well function. I rated Cleanliness as 1 out of 5. The towels, bedsheet, pillow case very dirty. Got visible stains. The color of the bedsheets and towels more greyish than white color.(should bring own towel) Though the price very cheap (only RM60 plus after discount), cleanliness must put as priority as it involves hygiene.

What I like most about this hotel is it's location. Right smack in the city centre. Spacious room with complete in-room amenities including a mini fridge and a microwave oven. Not many channels on the telly, only those free to air ones. The famous Muhammadi Mosque is just across the road and Tambatan DiRaja is just a short walk away. Parking is quite limited. Nasi Ulam Cikgu Fauzi is just behind the building if you are into it.

There is not much space to move around in the room. Bathroom has no shower stall so what you get is a wet and slippery floor if you go in after someone’s used the shower. No wardrobe or closet just a few hangers on a railing . Even though there’s an electric water jug what is provided is paper cups . Meaning you are not able to re-use the cups if you want to make hot drinks again. Very very basic amenities.

The room was spacious with a kitchenette. There were ample parking spaces for guests. We were stayed during Ramadhan. Iftar was served for an additional charge. Sahur could be requested and sent to the room.
