Sogo is a basic hotel with affordable prices, very friendly and hard staff. The room is relatively clean. It is located in the center, next to the Dau Bus Terminal, and very close to malls, fast food chains, banks, markets, churches, etc. It becomes very busy and it's common for people to wait in the lobby for the room that will be empty. Food can be ordered. One of the main problems is that WiFi is unreliable. Overall, a very good cheap hotel.

Hotel Sogo in Tarlac offers a budget-friendly accommodation option in the area. The hotel is conveniently located along the main road, providing easy access to nearby attractions and transportation hubs. The rooms are basic and functional, with standard amenities such as air conditioning, TV, and hot showers. However, the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms could be improved. During our stay, we encountered issues with cleanliness, including stained linens and bathroom fixtures in need of repair. The staff were polite but could benefit from additional training in guest service and efficiency. The hotel lacks additional facilities such as a restaurant or recreational areas, limiting options for dining and leisure activities onsite. While Hotel Sogo provides an affordable option for budget-conscious travelers, improvements in cleanliness and guest services would enhance the overall guest experience.

I, with my pregnant wife and toddler, booked for an executive room (Japanese-theme at room 104) in Sogo Hotel, Mexico, for 24 hours as an escape during the New Year's Eve. If the price tag in the room is akin to a run-of-the-mill motels, you can never hear any complaint from us. But for a hotel that claims to offer an executive room, it should live up to its promises; unfortunately, not in my family's experience. Let me break down the reasons: 1) Price - I booked my reservation in travelbook.ph with insider's discount but it was not awarded to us. We were charged for a regular fee. 2) Cleanliness - You can easily deduce that the previous occupant smoked cigarette. You can still smell the third-hand smoke up from the ceiling to the bed. It's suffocating to breath at first especially for me who has sensitive nose. 3) Aircon - Sleeping was hard as the noise of the aircon is like a nearby jackhammer, or a motorboat's engine. We were forced to turn it to fan just to silence it at the expense of sweating up. 4) Light - There was no light at the dining area and I called for an assistance twice. No one came to fix the bulb. 5) Security - We left the room to have a dinner and we asked for the concierge to lock the room (we were not given a spare key, that is their policy). However, the concierge was adamant to lock our room and claimed that it was safe even if we left our room open. I insisted on locking our room before leaving and the concierge showed unwillingness to do what I requested. The security guard looks frightening. We're not on to discrimination but you'll understand us if you were in the actual scene. Imagine a silhouette from a bit far. Then up close, he suddenly cut and blocked you and see an image of a drunk man wearing a guard's uniform. Coupled with this, he asked us in an interrogative tone if we were going to leave and asked our hotel room's number. I understand that inquiring is part of his work but at least he should pepper it with a smile or courteous tone. However, his approach caused us to be cynical in giving information especially with the premise that the concierge is unwilling to lock our room. I was about to put out my cellphone to record his hoodlum-like gesture but he suddenly stopped asking us and just radioed the concierge. 6) WiFi - Imagine a crippled turtle that is forced to run. That's how slow the hotel's WiFi in the room is. 7) TV - You cannot find lots of channels to watch on. Thankfully, we brought our own movies. The only thing that we enjoyed above all in the room is its spacious toilet and bathtub as my toddler enjoyed swimming while bathing. But generally, as a family-friendly hotel, you cannot expect it to be ”so clean, so good”. You have been warned.

Had booked 3 nights via Agoda for €39. I received room# 107. This is a room with double bed, led cable TV, safe, ac, WiFi, balcony. And breakfast every morning, either in front or in your room. What I didn't like was: location ac, hangs just above bed. No refrigerator in the room & the many insects in the room. (musks, mugs, etc.) Whatever wake me night, were the other guests who throw with doors and make noise at the corridor. The staff is friendly and friendly. Location is less, between Main gate & Friendship.

If you are looking for the Hotel Marquis, unfortunately COVID killed them, as it did many places. The new owners have spent some money, but the atmosphere is gone. The friendly, great service is not there. The family like atmosphere is not there. The food is ok, though more expensive, they have more choices. I was disappointed to not be able to see my friends, so I am sure that colors my review. I moved to the Clarkton.

Location is great, along the main road and near business establishments. Parking a little bit difficult even though you've reserved your slot, it can still be occupied by other tenants.

My last stay here was 3 years ago. Some things have changed. The issue of poor wifi signal coverage or unable to get on the router has improved. However there are times where internet is slow or you can’t get to it at all. The rooms are only cleaned if you request it by putting out your “please clean room” sign. The issue is that the clean room sign and do not disturb sign look identical at a glance. They are the same color therefore sometimes guest rooms don’t get cleaned. The rooftop restaurant still serves free breakfast however it’s closed after that. The rooftop gym has been cleaned up and lights however the sp**** equipment is old and janky. You would not want to use it. I’ve never had a room with windows so I don’t know if they exist or not. Regular rooms are small and basic. The bathroom is small. Their is no safe in all rooms but apparently the should be. It’s a fairly clean place to stay and in a good location. Just don’t expect too much but much better than other places in the same price range.

The room and staff was really good Sobrang bait nila but here’s my experienced sa facility. 1. No WiFi 2. No socket near the bed (di ka makapag charge) 3. No TV Channel only movies (downloaded) 4. No double lock for the door 5. Sobrang baho ng tubig (Amoy kalawang since it’s deep well water) but still dumidikit ang yung kalawang sa katawan and worst pag nag tooth brush. 6. Yung room namin sobrang Ingay di ka makatulog since Malapit sa kalasada 7. No available slippers Hope they will improve yung mga na experiences namin during our stay. Thank you.

Overall stay was good but no parking. I hope they can find a better parking space than the streets. But location wise, it is very good. room is very spacious, no wifi during our stay because of the network. key lock needs to be recheked. its hard to take off the keys! but it was a fun stay,.

I enjoy staying here and stay are accommodating. However, the Couple Tepee that where I stay in got some insects such as Ants and slow speed of internet connection.

Just spent 3 nights at a Juanita’s Guesthouse. I had a late check in, after midnight, with no issues. The hotel is a little outdated, but adequate. You get what you pay for! The front desk staff are all pleasant and the food at the restaurant next door is very reasonable. A small issue with my reservation as far as staying longer, but it was not a problem with me as I had another option. I stayed in room 204, which faces the main road and the noise was not an issue for me. All in all, this is a place that I would definitely do business with in the future.

Place is very accessible. Rooms are clean and very quiet. There are nearby fastfood and restaurants in the area.

What a perfect place for staycation. The cleanliness and amenity of the entire hotel was Verygood. Very accommodating staffs from arrival to our departure. We feel very welcome. The hotel staffs were very attentive to our needs. Not much amenities but the place was very relaxing. The ambience not so good. Their food was so nice and delicious. We will visit again soon.

This place is right in the front of walking street. Out the door and down the stairs and your on walking street. Exactly what I was looking for in my stay. They even helped me get a taxi to the airport meeting me outside the door. Great time and it was clean everyday. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks Fields palace hotel.
