The room was very nice for the money and the staff were superb in answering my questions. A staff member was outstanding in offering to lend an ice scrapper to scrap off ice on my car when I forgot to bring one. I would definitely stay at this location the next time I'm travelling the same route.
This hotel is located in Midtown on 8th Avenue, not far from Penn Station, making it very convenient for transportation.
It's an old building with no elevator. The hotel is on the top floor, so you'll need to climb 59 steps to reach the front desk. The staff are helpful and will even assist you with carrying luggage upstairs.
The rooms are small, partitioned off from a larger open-plan space, about three square meters each. Your suitcase can only fit under the bed. The top of the room is open for ventilation, which means there's almost no soundproofing. It's a bit like Hong Kong's 'cage homes' – if one person talks, almost everyone in the other rooms can hear it. Because of this, the hotel repeatedly emphasizes maintaining quiet.
They provide free drinking water, and there's a microwave and refrigerator available for use.
Breakfast includes milk, bread, butter, coffee, juice, cake, cereal, fruit, and soy milk.
The hotel's background seems to be Nepalese Hinduism, as they emphasize vegetarianism. No meat products are allowed into the hotel, not even eggs.

The room was spacious enough for a solo traveler, but it might be a bit cramped for two people. There were several toilets and showers on the floor. The shower closest to my room was out of order, but it wasn't an issue as there were others available. I booked this hotel because it was the cheapest option, and the location turned out to be excellent, especially for those using Newark Airport. It's a 10-minute walk from Penn Station, which has direct trains to the airport, so no transfers needed. Plus, it's within walking distance of Times Square and Broadway, which was a huge convenience as I didn't have to take the subway late at night. It's quite a busy area, so it didn't feel particularly unsafe even late at night, but sirens were a frequent sound and could be heard clearly in the room. If you're sensitive to noise, this might not be the best choice for you.
Check-in was simple with friendly front desk workers who offered us bottled water from a refrigerator in the lobby. The room was very clean and well-equipped with tea, coffee, a refrigerator and microwave. I especially liked the fact that the floor was not carpeted but wood laminate, which is much easier to clean. The pool looked brand new and was open late. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, coffee, tea, yogurt, fruit, cereal, milk and protein bars with bags to pack for takeaway or to eat there. The location was perfect to visit The Corning Museum of Glass, which was under 10 minutes away.

The location was good and the room was clean. Breakfast was an American breakfast buffet that you can imagine with bread, waffles, yogurt and cereals, and there were bacon and scrambled eggs.
It’s situated very conveniently close to the Woodbury Outlets, breakfasts were good, room clean etc.
Only one thing had bothered me was the use of all white bulbs throughout the room giving a cold fluorescent feel whereas the bathroom used yellow lights. That’s my only complaint.

This is where I sleep for accommodation on the way from Canada to New York. The building is a two-story hotel close to a motel. It's old, but the water pressure is good and the mart is nearby.
It takes only a few minutes to drive to the largest outlets in the East Coast of the United States. There is a beautiful forest at the door. The hotel is very quiet in a corner. The room is large. The breakfast is surprisingly rich and steaming hot. It is highly recommended.

MMillerBobThis stay was not what I would call good... It was in fact a poor experience.
By this I mean.
I arrived at 3.50pm to get checked into a room that I was informed would be ready for check in at 3pm... The room was not ready, and i was told they would try to have it ready in 20-25 mins.
I explained that that was not acceptable. I was told I could wait in the lobby area...I again explained that that was not acceptable. Another employee jumped in to say, I could sit in the lobby. Now I am irritated. I explained in more detail that I could not very well change in the lobby, being that I had to change and get to a wedding in Yonkers for 5.30...He then started to challenge me. Started telling me how he didn't like the tone of my voice. I then dismissed him and suggested he move away and let me deal with the situation with the desk clerk...who by the way was VERY, VERY, helpful, and whom I had no issues with, because she was doing everything she could to accommodate. The real problem was with the cleaning crew and their supervisor , who kept telling her the wrong things. I even offered for them to allow me to change, and then they could have the room to complete getting it ready. They told her to tell me that it wasn't protocol for me to do that. To which I responded that it wasn't protocol to not have the room ready.
At this time the desk associate, Aaliyah, who as I said was very helpful, and who I had NO ISSUES with, and she knew that, suggested that I would be reimbursed 50% for all the stress that I encountered, and gave me the room key to allow me and my wife to change and be on our way. This is where I say common sense made more sense than ”protocol”.
So my review will be....Great job handling a difficult situation by the desk associate, Aaliyah...
Poor job by the room ready crew.
And a terrible job by the associate who decided to challenge me in what was a difficult situation, instead of finding a way to help.
5 STARS for Aaliyah
1 STAR for Cleaning Crew
(-0) for associate.
HHuanghaiyuerImportant: Bring your own padlock and slippers.
Facilities: The building seems a bit old, but it has everything you need. There's an elevator (the buttons are quite retro 🔘).
The common areas and kitchen are very spacious, with all sorts of cooking utensils. There's a hot water kettle for hot drinks, instant soup, or instant noodles.
Each bed has its own curtain, a small night light, and a shelf, offering a good degree of personal space. That's a plus.
Cleanliness: Relatively good.
Environment: I arrived at night so I didn't see the outside courtyard, but the interior is very spacious and well-zoned. It seems like there are many activities during the day, and the rooms aren't cold at all.
Service: The front desk staff were friendly.
YYibongGood location, the shuttle service wait at the federal circle, take about 15 minute to reach Hotel, upon arrival, front desk will ask you about the shuttle service for departing to airport. We got prepack breakfast around 5am, can just take directly at the dining hall.

MMisti WallerWe get there at 10:00am - We knew we couldnt check in but asked anyway. Lady on Thurs 9/28 told me we couldnt yet and gave us bag tags to hold our bags for us. Very nice and pleasant. We then return to the hotel at 9pm to finally check in. We had a great day seeing the city. We are then told that the room I booked was over sold and they can not provide me with a King that I purchased but a double. This was the manager - She discounted the bill and $54 and told me they would make sure we were accommodated tomorrow. The room we were put it was the size of a walk in closet with a bed with a window unit that water dropped on all night making a loud noise with every drop. It also had a broken shelf above the sink so you literally had no where to put anything. It was horrible and honestly a $54 discount was not nearly enough.
Friday at 9am we come down turn in the room keys and explain to yet a third person....she understands and says I see notes here and we have a king room for you. I asked if we could go ahead and get the room number but she said no not yet we have to wait for the people to check out. We check our bags with tags and leave them at the desk again. We then spend another wonderful day exploring the city. We return around 9pm again and another person is working and has absolutely no idea of anything that was supposed to be done for us. I asked for any other room then the one we were in first and they had a queen room available. I took it after being so tired. The lady gave me the managers email and said he would speak to her for us. I will be reaching out but now that we checked out sat morning I dont believe we will be compensated for this terrible lack of communication. We never even got to unpack our bags.
KKongyanThe environment is excellent, the hotel is relatively new, and the rooms are quite spacious, which is a rarity in New York. The price is also acceptable. Among Western-style breakfasts, this one is quite rich. If you don't mind being a little further from Manhattan, it's actually a great choice. Most of the staff are very nice, especially the housekeeping team, who are very polite and keep everything spotlessly clean. There are many good restaurants on the way to the subway.
GGuest UserRoom was spotless and smelled good when we walked in. Carpet was clean. Bed was super comfortable with crisp clean sheets. Stayed an extra 2 days!
AAikapatWell, i understand that this is one is one of the most affordable accommodation in a prime location so the price is not cheap; however, i believe the room condition could be better
1. I found trace of glass shard in the room floor
2. The bathroom and toilet facility are quite small compared to room quantity
3. The bed condition is really bad and totally loosen
GGuest UserMy stay and experience was excellent inclusive of location, customer service will recommend to anyone friendly and efficient staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and a pleasant atmosphere. They also offered amenities like a good breakfast
GGuest UserI had a nice stay at Hotel Bridge in New York. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall the hotel felt basic but pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when changing my room, allowing a later checkout, and storing my luggage after checkout.
Breakfast was basic, and more options would be nice. The breakfast area was also small, which sometimes made it feel rushed when other guests were waiting for tables.
The location allows access to central areas of the city, but they are still a bit far from the hotel. Overall, it was a good stay for a basic hotel with helpful staff
