"I am a US traveler on business. I have visited Kashoen before and based on my experiences it is the only hotel I will ever stay at in Hanamaki.
The hotel staff are the kindest, most caring, and passionate people I have met at a hotel. The amenities are fantastic, the hotel food is phenomenal, and my stay is always relaxing. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
There is a nice nature trail nearby with a river that is beautiful as well.
If you are in Hanamaki or are looking for somewhere to enjoy a peaceful weekend at, I suggest Kashoen."
InterContinental Appi Kogen is a true luxury resort, enveloped by the stunning nature of Iwate's Appi Highlands. In winter, powdery slopes and snowy views offer a serene mountain panorama, while in summer, this alpine landscape transforms into endless greenlands and a beech forest offering shade and cool air on hot days. Savour exquisite meals at Shiratsuyu, enjoy Afternoon Tea and Apero Time in the elegant lobby, or treat yourself to a relaxing aroma massage and soak in the in-house hot spring.
"Good premium hotel, high quality dinning.
It was a bit far from the gondola and you have to kind of climb the hill to get to the entrance, which was sort of annoying.
A place where you can upgrade to priority pass starts working too late to actually make it to the gondola in time for the fast track start time.
We had some other things we noticed but overall it was a very nice experience."
