The panoramic view from Namaka Resort Kamala, perched on an elevated hillside where the lush mountain meets the azure Andaman Sea, is nothing less than extraordinary. Discover the joy of pure relaxation at our tropical modern five-star resort in Phuket, which features comfortable rooms, three swimming pools, and open-air dining areas with breathtaking views. Namaka Resort Kamala boasts a prime location offering different beach experiences. Guests can enjoy the lively center of Kamala. Surin Beach and Patong Beach are a few short drive minutes respectively, ensuring a seamless journey to and from the hotel. Important Note: Spa is temporarily closed until further notice.

"Our ground-floor room didn't have a sea view, but the service and facilities were quite good. The pool, restaurant, and gym were all well-equipped, and the breakfast offered a decent variety. However, we ordered room service a few times and found the taste to be mediocre and not worth the price. You can easily walk to the nearby beach where there are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from."

"The hotel environment is fantastic, with lush greenery and even some shade by the pool. However, I was assigned a connecting room, and since it's a wooden structure, it's not very soundproof. The breakfast was plentiful and even included ice cream! Every staff member was incredibly enthusiastic."

"I booked the sea view romance suite with jacuzzi 2409, top floor corner unit. We loved our unit so much! The view… the design, the jacuzzi. Everything is amazing. Delicious breakfast, stunning rooftop bar and gourmet restaurant…! We didn’t have the time to try the spa but it was amazing for sure. The pool isn’t huge but all in marble and has an incredible sea view. Last but not least, the staff is very polite and welcoming. We will come back 😊!"

"I saw some people mention discrimination, but I really don't think that's the case. Some folks just need to chill out. The front desk staff, both the guys and girls, were incredibly friendly and even helped me upgrade my room at my own expense. They also kept my phone safe when I left it at the front desk – truly a fantastic experience. The breakfast area was a bit warm, but the fans made it bearable. There are pools everywhere in the hotel, and because the ecosystem is so good, you'll see small animals around. Perfect for just relaxing!"

"Excellent hotel with great customer service. All staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. However, the hotel could improve the buggy service and provide better sheltered walkways, especially during the rainy season. Since many guests are families with young children, this would make moving around the resort much more comfortable and convenient. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would be happy to return in the future."

"Location : you can go either patong or kamala which is nearest. It’s quite distant for me. But I rent a bike from hotel to make it easier for me n my partner to go anywhere. Service : service was one of the tiptop! Everywhere you go, the staff was so polite and greet you. Room : couldn’t say much as the room was so perfect for me n my partner. Choose the one straight to the pool from our room. As we can just jump into and swim and chill. I did enjoy my stay here. Breakfast was good. All I can say is that the staff there were so friendly, professional, helpful. And willingly to help whatever you need. I enjoy staying here. Most probably will stay again next year !"

Cleanliness: Very good. I even saw the cleaning staff take off their shoes before entering to clean the room. Service: Mostly okay. It was during a marathon, so there were a lot of guests, but the basic services were met. The front desk seemed to have some new staff members; there was a mix-up with unlocking my door, which led me to run up and down four times. They could definitely use more training and shouldn't be distracted while serving guests. Environment: This is a large hotel within the Laguna complex. It offers great value for money, which explains why it's so popular. The hotel has its own pool, and transportation within the community is very convenient. Facilities: Decent. The bed was too soft for my liking, not very comfortable to sleep on. However, for the price, the value is excellent, and the lake view room is absolutely stunning – highly recommended! The hotel also recommended a very affordable massage place, conveniently located within the Laguna community.

The staff here are all very friendly and extremely enthusiastic. We especially appreciate Rach's proactive and friendly service. Although the lobby is a bit far from the rooms and we had to call the front desk every time we went out or came back, the shuttle service arrived very quickly and never delayed us. Even when we returned late, there were always staff members on standby to drive us back to our room immediately. The hotel provides shuttle services to and from the Old Town and Central Festival. It would be even better if we could take the shuttle to the Old Town and then be picked up from Central Festival on the return trip. The room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning was excellent, though the water pressure was a bit weak. The hotel environment is quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again!

I stayed in the Sunset Wing, and I would recommend there as well, as this is more quiet and most recent part of the resort. There are 4 or 5 pools in the resort, and convenient for all sort of travelling parties. The resort is just in front the beach which is definitely a great value. The location is very good near shops and restaurants. Definitely a great value for the pricing.

I booked a one-bedroom villa, and after visiting and comparing several units, I truly believe Villa #68 is the absolute best among the one-bedroom options! The layout and size are optimal! The villa boasts a generous 550 sqm, offering huge space and a comfortable layout. It comes with a private pool that directly connects to the beach, making both privacy and the views impeccable. The amenities are also comprehensive: a sauna, indoor and outdoor dual showers, and an outdoor bathtub, instantly delivering a complete resort feel and comfort. The hotel itself has a very natural, ecological island vibe. We saw lizards several times on the villa rooftop and by the pool. At first, it was a bit scary, but they are actually very docile and completely non-aggressive – a rather unique wilderness experience. Breakfast was just okay, nothing special. The service was excellent throughout; all staff members were enthusiastic, friendly, meticulous, and attentive. A special shout-out to Liam, who provided dedicated service from start to finish, always responsive, patiently helping us arrange all our needs with professionalism and warmth! However, there are a few objective points that deduct from the overall score: Firstly, the hotel's landscaping and gardening are rather ordinary compared to other resorts in the same category. Most of the public areas are sandy, with sparse and poorly maintained plants, making them generally not photo-worthy. Secondly, the in-room facilities are a bit dated, especially the bathroom. The quality of the fixtures and sanitary ware like the toilet and showerhead feels quite common, which doesn't quite match the Luxury Collection brand positioning. Getting to the island involves a bit of a journey, from the airport to the pier and then a speedboat transfer, but it feels worth it upon arrival. If you're looking for an extra-large private villa, private pool, direct beach access, and excellent service, this place is still highly recommended. However, if you are sensitive to the public area landscaping and the newness of indoor hardware, you might want to do a bit more research.

The hotel's location is very close to the airport, but quite far from Patong, Karon, and other areas. A taxi ride costs around 200 RMB, so it's best to stay here at the beginning or end of your Phuket trip. There are no shops around the hotel; you'll need to take the hotel shuttle for about 10 minutes to reach a small town for shopping or dining. The hotel itself is a resort type, perfect for just relaxing on-site. The environment is nice, and the beach is uncrowded. Recommended if you're looking for a relaxing resort stay.

Our family really loved our room during our Chinese New Year trip! 😍 It was very spacious. We booked a family room with a double-decker kids' area and a king bed. It could easily accommodate four adults – perfect for my parents and my two sisters. The room was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were also excellent in terms of space and cleanliness. There was a large balcony overlooking the pool, which extended all the way to the beach – it had such a great vibe. We absolutely adored the overall facilities and environment. In the evening, my elder daughter and I had a spa treatment. It was a bit pricey but acceptable 😁. The guy at the reception was very enthusiastic, and the overall service was great. My dad and younger daughter went to the soft play area, which makes this hotel ideal for family fun. The scenery was spectacular. We visited on the first day of Chinese New Year, and they had a dragon dance 🐉, firecrackers 🧨, and gave out gifts 🎁 to the children. The kids had an absolute blast! Even though we were in Thailand, it felt very much like Chinese New Year. There were yoga classes by the beach, but unfortunately, we didn't have time to join. For service, I'd give it an 85 out of 100. 👍🏼 The front desk had a Chinese-speaking girl who was very thoughtful and helpful, and the doorman was also very polite. However, the restaurant staff and a female attendant folding towels by the pool felt a little lacking. While there wasn't anything overtly bad, their service just wasn't as comfortable as the rest. Everything else was excellent. In summary: The hardware – scenery, accommodation, and cleanliness – was impeccable; the service still has room for improvement.

We were a group of 5 for a company team building trip, staying for 5 nights. We booked two rooms, and one of them had an extra bed. The room wasn't very big; with the extra bed, there was hardly any space to walk, as you can see in the picture. However, it was nice to have a small balcony overlooking the pool, offering a pleasant view. The hotel had a lot of Indian guests, but it was surprisingly clean, as we constantly saw staff cleaning everywhere. What really stood out were the hotel's facilities. It's located in Patong, offering a quiet escape despite being in a busy area. There are several pools, and plenty of activities available every day. The staff were all very friendly. My only minor complaint is that breakfast hours are a bit short, ending at 10 AM. For someone who struggles to wake up early, getting breakfast was a bit of a challenge.

Stayed one night from June 27th to 28th. The Naiharn Resort boasts an excellent location, nestled at the foot of the hill next to Nai Harn Beach, with its buildings cascading from the first to the ninth floor, reaching halfway up the mountain. Facing the resort, the sea is an inviting blue, while lush green trees line the back of the hill. The white buildings are tiered along the coastline, creating a truly magnificent sight! The pool isn't huge, but being able to overlook the ocean while swimming is wonderfully comfortable and relaxing. At night, the large platform bar lights a bonfire, and under the dim light, gazing at the distant stars and hazy moonlight feels like a dream. Breakfast offers a good variety – fewer options but exquisite and uniquely flavored. The rooms are clean, hygienic, and well-equipped. However, there were some drawbacks. The air conditioning noise was too loud, and the front desk staff provided discriminatory service. When we booked through the platform, we specifically requested a high-floor room with an unobstructed view, not a corner room. Yet, upon arrival, after some whispering among themselves, they gave us room 816 on the side of the hotel, where a water tower obstructed the view. When we raised our concerns, they claimed there were no empty rooms left on the 8th floor. We then asked about the 9th floor, and they said that was also fully occupied. We insisted on changing rooms, and they asked, 'What if you don't change rooms?' We replied that if we couldn't change, we'd cancel our booking and find another place. Seeing our firm stance, the staff member made a hushed phone call and then offered room 905 on the 9th floor. We accepted, and only after moving in did we realize that room 905 offered arguably the best sea view. We were puzzled why they would initially give us such a poor room when 905 was clearly available. Another small detail at breakfast also bothered us significantly. The staff served us coffee in two glass cups, but for European and American guests, they brought an entire set with a coffee pot on a tray. Service is reflected in the details. Guests pay the same amount, and the hotel has an obligation, and guests have the right, to receive equal and non-discriminatory service. We sincerely hope the hotel management provides proper training to the front desk staff to improve their overall professionalism. The hotel grounds are expansive with excellent facilities. It's very quiet at night, and the natural environment is lovely, with small animals roaming freely. There are three swimming pools, a gym, a bar, and a kids' club. Our sea-view room was very close to the back entrance, which leads directly to the beach, and it was also convenient for taxis. Guests booking day trips need to take a shuttle to the main lobby to wait for their transport, but it's very convenient, so don't worry about the large size of the resort being an inconvenience. If you're on a leisurely trip and don't want to wake up early, you don't need to book the hotel breakfast. There are many restaurants around; just a 5-10 minute stroll from the back entrance, and you'll find plenty of dining options. The soundproofing is average. The hotel room doors have a small gap and are quite thin, so I could hear other guests chatting outside the door at 8 AM. I'm a heavy sleeper, so it didn't bother me much. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to request a room away from the elevators. I saw other guests commenting that the hotel felt damp. Being an island hotel, I think some humidity is normal. However, indeed, washed clothes don't dry if you hang them inside the room; they won't dry even overnight. But if you hang them on the balcony, they dry within a morning. Cons: [Slight flaws in the details] 1. I booked a twin room, but the two beds were pushed together. I left notes twice requesting an extra blanket and also gave a tip, but I never received one. Perhaps my English wasn't clear, or maybe the staff couldn't understand English? I eventually gave up. 2. Point #1 is a minor issue that someone with good English should be able to sort out, so it's not a big deal. However, what I found most unacceptable, and something that shouldn't happen at a Pullman hotel, occurred during check-out. There were two staff members at the front desk. An older female staff member, probably in her 40s (her name tag seemed to say PLOY), was on the phone. A gentleman then approached and politely said, ”Hello” (likely to check out). Before he could say another word, the staff member looked down, frowned, and said abruptly, ”Wait a moment, wait a moment,” in a very impatient tone. The younger staff member who was assisting me with check-out perhaps also felt the other staff member's attitude was poor, and immediately and gently added, ”Please wait a moment, sir.” I stayed here for 6 days and encountered no less than 20 hotel employees, all of whom were smiling and proactively offered help when they saw you might need it. Therefore, I was very surprised to witness such an expression and attitude from staff at such an important position as the front desk during check-out. I hope they improve this.
