"We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel where everything is done to satisfy the customer. We appreciated the kindness and availability of all the staff, the swimming pool with its jacuzzi, the restaurant which offers succulent cuisine, a very clean room where nothing is missing, despite the fact that it was not very big. The breakfast buffet is perfect: there is enough choice to satisfy even the most picky eaters. However, it is not always practical to help ourselves, because there is nothing provided to place our tray on. We were sometimes embarrassed and had to go back and forth. Last problem: the poor quality of the bedding which caused us increasing back pain as our stay progressed. The mattresses should probably be changed. We will nevertheless keep pleasant memories of this establishment. Too bad about the poor quality of the bedding though."

"You really hope this place works. It has been nicely transformed to incorporate clean, modern bedrooms within its historic shell, without losing the feel of the old building. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and well-maintained pool, excellent breakfast. An easy walk down into the town, where you see close-up the sad rural desertification of France, with its encroaching poverty and its accumulation of abandoned buildings."
