"The location is amazing,you can walk everywhere. The attitude of reception was kind and friendly. Yet the rooms and corridors had a weird smell, that was about not freshening the air inside. The lights were off in the corridor that you can hardly find your room number. The restaurant and the meals were OK. We could have dinners and the soups and schnitzel were delicious. But it was bad to see the same food from yesterday comes again next day, it smelled not fresh. Some of the meals were cold and not fresh in the breakfast. The coffee was awesome we liked it."

"We spent one night in this lovely hotel just outside of Baia Mare (city centre is about 15mins drive from hotel). We felt very welcome right from the start thanks to the very friendly and professional staff. Our room was spacious, clean, and well appointed, with a comfortable bed. The hotel was very quiet and there is plenty of (free) car parking space. Breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we have had in Romania, with lots of locally made products, and a nice selection of hot and cold food. Also the breakfast staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again when next in Baia Mare."

"The hotel is in a very good location, right next to the most famous tower in the city center and close to the square. The room is very big, a little too big. I couldn't find the seat at first, and there was no hotel nameplate on the door"

"We’ve spent 9 nights in July 2023 at Urban Hotel. Great cozy hotel, very clean, really comfortable with an amazing friendly staff. Although very close to the Old Center of the town, where are lots of terraces, bars and restaurants (no more than 2 minutes walking distance), it was a quiet place to spend some relaxing time. We’ll definitely return there next time we’re in Baia Mare. It certainly surpassed our expectations. "

"Near the Sf. Ioan, where my husband was hospitalized, friendly staff, very clean. In the evening I asked for tea, and in the morning I had coffee in the room. The ladies at the reception were very nice. I felt pretty good, considering it was my first time in Baia Mare and I had to manage on my own 😉"
