"We are so glad that we picked this hotel. The hotel is stunning. We arrived late and were glad that hotpot was available in the hotel restaurant as it was freezing cool outside. We enjoyed our dinner in the beautiful restaurant.
Our room was stunning. The beds were super comfortable. The heater was great. No issues with the room temperature. We slept like a baby after a two and half hours journey from Siguniang.
The young staff members were helpful and attentive.
Our experience in this hotel has exceeded our expectations. Sadly, we only stayed a night.
We would love to revisit.

"I absolutely adored this guesthouse from the moment I stepped in! I arrived quite late, but the moment I got to the entrance, a staff member and the housekeeper, Xiao Zi, warmly greeted me. They even helped me take my luggage to my room. I initially booked this guesthouse because of its unique Tibetan-style decor, but when I arrived, I found it was even more beautiful than the pictures, haha! The rooftop hot tub was also incredibly comfortable (Xiao Zi said the water comes directly from the snow-capped mountains). But what truly captivated me here was the staff's genuine warmth. They felt more like friends! You can ask the housekeeper anything you need via WeChat. In the evening, I went to experience the only bar in town, which is located on the hotel's top floor. Even though I was alone, I didn't feel awkward or lonely at all. Xiao Zi immediately and enthusiastically invited me to sit with them. I'm usually a bit introverted, but I instantly opened up and happily chatted until the early hours of the morning. The bartender was also super nice, and the drinks tasted excellent (not just good-looking!). I had to leave too early and missed out on the breakfast beef noodles. I definitely need to try them next time! And the guesthouse dinner too – I'll save the last photo for my next visit! 👍🏻❤️"

"I picked this hotel randomly, and the stay was great! 1. I was traveling with my parents, and the staff proactively offered us breakfast vouchers and toiletries. 2. The bonfire party was lively, and a dancing lady enthusiastically invited us to join. 3. The heating was already on when we entered the room, so there was no waiting. 4. They even gave us bottled water when we checked out. Overall, it's excellent value for money, and I'll definitely come back next time!"

"The Jixianggu Hotel is centrally located in Lixian, very close to the county government and the food street. The surrounding area is very quiet, making it suitable for a peaceful stay amidst the hustle and bustle. The hotel itself is elegant with its small bridges and flowing water. The rooms are quiet and clean, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and offered complimentary afternoon tea. Sitting on the viewing platform, enjoying the breeze and some snacks was incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, featuring specialties like butter tea and boneless chicken feet."

"For our two-day trip to Lixian, we chose to stay at Xiangjiagazong Luxury Scenic Resort, drawn by its stunning scenery and numerous positive reviews. To start with, my conclusion is: while the hardware (facilities) is indeed excellent, the soft services don't quite match the price.
The hotel is located halfway up the mountain; you need to take a detour from the main road to reach it, so driving is more convenient. It provides two small parking areas and EV charging stations. Both the views and room facilities are exactly as advertised: clean, tidy, high-quality, and clearly designed with great thought and expense. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of the lush mountains, and the morning mist creates a truly breathtaking scene. Breakfast was generous, served à la carte (not buffet-style) directly by staff, which was a pleasant experience.
However, the service left much to be desired. On arrival day, I contacted the front desk for luggage assistance, but after a long wait, no one showed up, so I had to carry my bags uphill myself. During check-in, there was no dedicated staff member; an auntie who also handles cleaning duties processed our check-in. The so-called ”butler” service wasn't via WeChat but a regular phone call, and their explanation of nearby walkable attractions was unclear, which was a bit awkward. On the first night, I felt a bit unwell and contacted the butler for cold medicine or altitude sickness medication. Unfortunately, these were not readily available, and we had to purchase an oxygen tank at our own expense. The ”Xiaodu” voice assistant in the room seemed smart but didn't genuinely integrate with the room facilities. The scenic cafe on the 4th floor had beautiful views, but on both occasions we went up, there were no staff, just an empty room.
We didn't encounter the ”warm and hospitable owner” mentioned in many reviews; the owner never appeared throughout our stay, and there was a noticeable lack of a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the hotel's hardware and scenery are indeed impeccable, making it a great place for photos and relaxation. However, the service experience and attention to detail fell short. The price, several times higher than neighboring hotels, didn't reflect a corresponding value in service. If you're coming purely for the scenery, it's worth a try, but if you're seeking a high-quality, comprehensive experience, you might be slightly disappointed."

"The county town's B&B is at an altitude of 1,800 meters, which is a very comfortable altitude for a plateau area. I slept very well. The surrounding facilities are also very rich, eating is convenient, and you can also order takeout from Mixue Bingcheng. Breakfast is on the first floor, which is very rich for a county town. Just park on the roadside and the boss will help you move your car. He is a very warm and friendly boss. The room is not very big, but it is enough for our family of four (two five-year-old children). The rooftop terrace is the highlight, you can go up there to have a cup of tea or something. The night was cool and comfortable. But in public areas, everyone should just pick up their own trash."

"This is my favorite B&B in recent years! It's hard to believe how meticulously Dr. Chen manages this place. Upon entering the stone steps, I was struck by its exquisiteness. But as he launched into a torrent of historical exposition about the B&B's cultural philosophy, my hands and my mindless historical knowledge seemed to drift apart. It felt like a history teacher lecturing, or a classmate excitedly presenting a topic they were proud of. The room featured chairs from the early Tang Dynasty, a room restored to the governor's specifications, a rare Sui Dynasty landscape-themed sitting area with a backrest, multiple altars, bedside tables, Shu brocade bedspreads, beaded and knotted curtains, and a camel-shaped structure. It all felt like a cultural journey along the Henan Route of the Silk Road. I'm so grateful to Dr. Chen for his thoughtful instruction! So, you can imagine how well-equipped the room was! Upon arrival, we discovered there were only two such small villas. We booked early and secured the best room with a panoramic mountain view. Our governor, after checking in, was reluctant to leave the B&B, saying it was beautiful enough and he didn't want to wander around anymore! Speaking of dining, honestly, we ate at Yak Copper Pot almost every day for the first half of our trip. Dr. Chen arranged for us to enjoy local wild vegetables, stir-fried mushrooms, and twice-cooked pork. Every meal was delicious. Later, I learned that the entire B&B is run by Dr. Chen and his parents. He cleans the rooms himself, fearing he might damage the cultural heritage. Aunt Chen also cooks the meals. The entire B&B is still being refined with every detail. I don't know how to express my respect for Dr. Chen, but I can only share this detailed recommendation with those who are willing to read the reviews. This place is not only beautiful, but also peaceful and tranquil. In this complex and fast-paced world, why not come to Weizhou Bieye for a two-day break? Support the craftsmanship! "I have to give this hotel a big thumbs up! The environment is elegant, the decoration is exquisite and unique, the room is clean and tidy, and it is right under the Bipenggou Scenic Area. The snow scenery outside the window is beautiful, and the proprietress will pick us up to the Bipenggou Scenic Area. The food is also very delicious and rich in variety. I didn't expect that the best stir-fried beef we had in Sichuan was here. It was a bit of a surprise. The waiter was also very enthusiastic and introduced us to the attractions and travel guide. What I am most grateful for is that we had altitude sickness after going to Bipenggou. The proprietress was very enthusiastic to take me to the pharmacy, and also cooked green vegetable and lean meat porridge and sent it to the room. She always cared about our situation, which made me feel warm like going home. I will choose this place again if I have the opportunity to come and play next time!"

Eending628The homestay has a sense of design, especially the living room on the first floor where you can chat around the stove. The hardware in the room is very good brand goods. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the dining room can enjoy the beautiful scenery of clouds and mist when eating. I dare not imagine how beautiful it should be if there is a colorful forest in October and a snow-capped mountain in December. Although the breakfast is simple, it is equipped with green leaf napkins, exquisite side dishes, hot butter tea, and feels very life-like. The only regret is that the dinner is too slow. After all, there is a hostess Zhang Luo alone. The grandmother helps to lay hands, but the weight and taste are online. There was also a large Alaskan dog called Hanamaki, very gentle, and a white cat that had just given birth to a baby.
