"I love the whole vibe of the hotel where it give off this rustic industrial look but the interior of the room is really nice. Front desk was super accommodating when we wanted to upgrade our room but the initial upgraded room was not to our liking and they kindly suggested another room for us to have a look first before we decide on it. we were able to check in an hour earlier as well and was able to keep our luggage at the front desk after check out and return back later to collect. overall an amazing experience with SOF hotel and would definitely come back to stay when im in taichung again"

"Very clean and nice hotel everything is very organised , good location and friendly frontdesk .ALL the staff are simply exceptional, especially the frontdesk- Lia Wu , Emily Chen and Wendy Liu. , they showed their professionalism by introducing this new hotel and the surroundings to us . They are so helpful to assist us with our luggages and personally deliver to our room. Every interaction with them felt warm and welcoming . The breakfast is good with many choices , restaurant manager and staff are friendly too. Overall the staff’s commitment to guest satisfaction made a truly memorable stay."

"Location was further away from Fengjia night market than expected. We took around 20 minutes to walk back from Fengjia night market to hotel. Room strictly available from 3pm onwards. We came around 2.15pm and was reminded by the reception lady that room will only be ready at 3pm, same was told to the next guests who came right after us. That said, room size was sufficient for 3 pax and hotel looks new. Gym has 2 treadmills plus some other equipment. Gave discount vouchers tk guests for drinks at hotel bar."

"Room 711: There were mosquitoes on the bedsheets. The wallpaper in the corner was bubbling. The corner of the desk was moldy. The air conditioning had a slight musty smell. The shower water pressure was unstable, and it kept switching between hot and cold. There was a pair of slippers under the bed that didn't belong to me. The sink in the bathroom had some black unknown substance and an odor. On the positive side, you can borrow extra pillows, and the location is super convenient. If you're not particular about cleanliness, you might consider staying here."

"Overall, my stay at the hotel was excellent. The environment was clean and tidy, and the room was spacious and comfortable with soft bedding. The facilities were also quite comprehensive. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and check-in was quick. The surrounding area has convenient transportation, making it easy to dine and shop. I would consider staying here again."

"The hotel's location is pretty good; it's about a ten-minute walk to Fengjia Night Market. However, it's a bit far from other attractions, and there aren't any bus stops nearby, so you'll need to take a taxi to get around. The service was quite good, though the uncle at check-in was a bit distant. After that, all the ladies at the front desk were really lovely! A great perk of the hotel is that if you don't like feather pillows, you can request other types, but it's first-come, first-served, so speak up quickly! I personally thought breakfast was delicious, especially the savory soy milk – so good! 😍 But the late-night snack wasn't anything special, no need to go out of your way for it. The hotel also offers a free foot bath, but you'll need to buy your own bath salts for 10 NTD."

"It wasn't my first time at this hostel. I think it's a good one and the price is cheap. There's a market place close by and a bus stop. Beds are comfy. Just be aware that there are little spaces that bring either other people's light or the window's light. If you're sensitive to that, bring a eyemask. Otherwise, enjoy your stay."
